Smooth and velvety mashed potatoes that melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
- 5 pounds potatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into large chunks.
- Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the heavy cream, butter, and sour cream. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
