If you’re following a keto lifestyle but craving bold flavors, Mexican Keto Pizza is your answer. This low-carb twist on a classic brings all the zesty, spicy, cheesy goodness of Mexican cuisine—without the carbs that come with traditional pizza dough.
The Crust:
Say goodbye to flour-based crusts! For this keto-friendly version, the crust is made with a combination of shredded mozzarella cheese, almond flour, and cream cheese. Once baked, it becomes firm enough to hold toppings while remaining soft and chewy—almost like a thin, cheesy bread base.
The Sauce:
Ditch the marinara. This pizza uses a spiced-up tomato base or even salsa (sugar-free) as the sauce. Add cumin, chili powder, paprika, and garlic powder for a true Mexican kick. For an even bolder flavor, some use enchilada sauce—just be sure it’s low in carbs.
Toppings Galore:
This is where the magic happens. Ground beef or shredded chicken seasoned with taco spices makes the perfect protein. Top it with sliced jalapeños, black olives, chopped red onions, and shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend. After baking, finish with fresh ingredients like diced tomatoes, avocado slices, cilantro, and a drizzle of sour cream or lime crema.
Keto-Friendly & Satisfying:
Each slice is loaded with healthy fats, quality protein, and flavor that hits the spot. Unlike traditional pizza, this keto pizza version won’t spike your blood sugar or leave you feeling bloated. Plus, it’s naturally gluten-free!
Perfect for Meal Prep:
Mexican Keto Pizza stores well in the fridge and reheats easily, making it a great option for meal prepping. Just bake, slice, and store for an easy lunch or dinner throughout the week.
Whether you’re having a keto-friendly taco night or simply want a creative pizza alternative, this Mexican Keto Pizza is a crowd-pleaser—even for those not on a low-carb diet.

Meh, not great. I prefer real pizza with gluten. This just ain’t it.
Looks great but I don’t think using almond flour is good. Wheat flour is way better! 😏
I think almond flour is actually healthier! It has less carbs. 😋
So good! Never thought I’d enjoy a keto pizza. 🍕😋
This pizza was awesome! I was surprised how good a keto version could taste. Will make again!
OMG, best keto pizza ever! So cheesy and delicious, I could eat it every day!
Followed the recipe but it fell apart. Maybe I did something wrong? Anyway, it was okay.
Can I use something other than cream cheese? Maybe ricotta? 🤔
I think ricotta could work, but it won’t be as creamy! Might change the texture. 🤷♂️
I added some pepperoni. Made it even better! Great recipe, thanks!
So easy to make! My kids loved it too. Will make again for sure.
I didn’t get the almond flour, so I substituted with coconut flour. Still good! But probably not the same.
Coconut flour? That’s interesting! I always thought it’s tricky to substitute. Glad it turned out good for you!
Tried this recipe and it was super dry… Might need more cream cheese or something idk.
I found it pretty moist actually! Maybe try adding a bit more cheese next time?
Tastes weird, I don’t like it. Kinda rubbery. Never trying it again. 1 star.
Kind of skeptical about the crust made of almond flour, but it turned out pretty good. Not my favorite though.
I was hesitant about almond flour too, but it gives a nice flavor! Glad you liked it somewhat.
This pizza was amazing! I can’t believe it’s keto! Definitely a 5-star recipe.
This was alright but where’s da flavor? I was expecting more. Disappointed slightly.
I actually thought it had a good amount of flavor! Maybe try adding more spices next time?
Yum! The recipes say it a keto but my friend said pizza is unhealthy. Who to believe?
Pizza sauce is too sweet for me. I think I might just use regular pizza sauce next time.
I totally get that! The sauce can be sweet. You might wanna try mixing it with a bit of garlic or herbs to balance it out.
Nah, sugar-free is the way to go. If you use regular sauce, it might kick out the keto vibe!
Wow, this pizza is amazing! I can’t believe it’s keto! The crust turned out perfect.
I tried this recipe and it was super delicious! I was surprised how good keto pizza could be. Thanks for sharing!
I don’t really like this. It tastes nothing like pizza. I’m sticking to regular ones.
Is pizza really supposed to be made with almond flour? Seems weird but I’m willing to try!
Yum! The jalapeños add a nice kick! My kids even liked it 🙂
