Keto Avocado Brownies

August 30, 2023

If you’re following a keto diet and craving something sweet, Keto Avocado Brownies are the answer. These rich, fudgy brownies are made without any flour or sugar, making them a perfect keto-friendly dessert. The star ingredient – avocado, adds moisture and a creamy texture while keeping the brownies low in carbs and high in healthy fats. They’re the perfect balance of indulgence and nutrition, satisfying your sweet tooth without compromising your diet.

The beauty of these brownies lies in their simplicity. Avocado replaces the need for traditional butter or oils, providing healthy fats while also giving the brownies a dense, moist texture. The avocado flavor is subtle, allowing the rich chocolate and vanilla flavors to shine. With a good quality cocoa powder and a touch of dark chocolate, the brownies turn out decadently rich and full of deep, chocolatey goodness.

To keep the recipe keto-friendly, a natural sweetener like erythritol or stevia is used in place of sugar. These sweeteners give the brownies the perfect amount of sweetness without raising blood sugar levels, making them ideal for anyone on a low-carb, ketogenic, or diabetic-friendly diet. A pinch of sea salt enhances the sweetness and deepens the chocolate flavor.

The brownies are easy to make, simply blend the avocado with the sweetener, cocoa powder, eggs, and a little baking soda. Pour the batter into a baking pan, and bake until they’re just set in the middle. The result is a dense, fudgy brownie that’s moist on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside.

Keto Avocado Brownies are perfect for satisfying your chocolate cravings without derailing your diet. They’re full of healthy fats, low in carbs, and taste just as indulgent as traditional brownies. Whether you’re on a keto journey or just looking for a healthier dessert option, these brownies are a delicious, guilt-free treat that everyone will enjoy.

I don’t like almond flour. Can I use regular flour instead? I really want to try these.

    1. 3 stars
I think regular flour won’t be good for keto though… Maybe just try it with almond flour? Just a thought.

    2. 4 stars
Yes, you can use regular flour! They might turn out a bit different but it should still work.

Easy to make but the taste is kinda weird. Not my favorite dessert, sorry!

  9. 2 stars
Eh, tasted kinda weird. Not my fave. I’ll stick to regular brownies.

Yeah, cocoa can be really strong! Next time try using less, like a 1/4 cup maybe? It’ll balance the sweetness better.

    4 stars
Keto? Low carb? I’m just here for dessert! 😂 but seriously these brownies are surprisingly good. 4 stars.

    4 stars
So simple to make, I love it. Good for my diet journey!

  46. 3 stars

      4 stars
I get what you mean! These brownies are definitely different. Maybe try adding some more cocoa next time?

  47. User avatar Karena Torp says:

  48. 5 stars
Me and my husband both liked it 👌. Perfect snack for keto buddies.

  49. User avatar Super Saiyan Blue Goku says:

    3 stars
I thought it needed more sugar. I used honey instead of erythritol, maybe that’s why?

    1. User avatar rayford.vandervort says:

      4 stars
Honey is sweeter than erythritol. Maybe that’s why it needed more? I use maple syrup sometimes.

  50. User avatar hubert.rath42 says:

    2 stars
I thought brownies were supposed to be sweet! I didn’t like the taste of the erythritol. Will stick to regular sugar next time.

    2. User avatar kraig.ritchie says:

      3 stars
Erythritol is pretty important for the keto balance. Maybe less sugar next time? Just a thought!

    3 stars
Could be better. I thought the cocoa would make it taste like real brownies, but it didn’t really work.

  57. 2 stars
Bleh! The texture was too mushy for me. Brownies should be fudgy, not like pudding!

    1. 5 stars
