A quick and easy dish that combines the rich flavors of garlic and parmesan cheese into a creamy pasta, all cooked in one pot for minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 3 1/2 cups chicken broth low sodium
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- to taste salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot or skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the spaghetti and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and heavy cream until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
