‘Marry Me’ Chicken earned its name for a reason – it’s so delicious, people say one bite could inspire a proposal. This creamy, savory dish features tender chicken breasts simmered in a rich Parmesan and sun-dried tomato sauce, delivering a luxurious flavor that tastes like it came straight from a fancy restaurant. But the best part? It’s easy enough to make on a weeknight.
The magic of this dish lies in its simplicity and the bold flavors that come from just a few key ingredients. The chicken is first seared until golden brown, locking in its juices and adding a layer of flavor to the pan. Then comes the star of the show – the sauce. It’s a rich blend of garlic, chicken broth, heavy cream, grated Parmesan, and chopped sun-dried tomatoes. As everything simmers together, the sauce thickens and turns velvety, wrapping around the chicken like a warm embrace.
Sun-dried tomatoes bring a sweet, tangy depth that cuts through the creaminess, while the Parmesan adds a salty, nutty punch. A few red pepper flakes provide gentle heat, and a sprinkle of Italian herbs ties everything together. The result is a dish that’s decadent but not heavy, and absolutely packed with flavor.
“Marry Me” Chicken is incredibly versatile too. Serve it over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice to soak up every bit of that dreamy sauce. Add a side of roasted vegetables or a crisp green salad to round out the meal.
Whether you’re cooking for someone special or just treating yourself, this dish delivers on all fronts. It’s rich, comforting, and feels like something you’d order at a fancy bistro, yet it comes together in about 30 minutes. No engagement required, but don’t be surprised if someone falls in love with you after the first bite.

Ingredients
- 4 pieces chicken breast boneless and skinless
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth low-sodium
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- to taste salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear them in the skillet for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Use a wooden spoon to scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and dried oregano. Simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet. Spoon some of the sauce over each piece.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then serve hot. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

I tried this recipe but it didn’t work out too well. The sauce was too thick and the chicken ended up dry. 😕
This was so good! My boyfriend loved it, and I might just get a ring after this dinner! 😂💍
Haha, love that! If a ring comes out of this, you better share that recipe! 😂❤️

I don’t know… sounds a bit too creamy for my taste. Can you really trust the ‘Marry Me’ name? What if it doesn’t live up to the hype?
Omg, I burnt the garlic and ruined it. 😔 But it smelled good tho!
Is it just me, or is this called ‘Marry Me’ chicken? Sounds like a gimmick! 🤔
Can ya use regular milk instead of cream? Gotta save $$ you know?
Why is everyone so obsessed? It’s just chicken, chill out.
Wasn’t sure about the sun-dried tomatoes, but they make this dish special. Will cook again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was just okay. Nothing special, I’ve eaten better stuff before. 👎

Mushrooms? I don’t know about that. Sounds kinda weird.🤔
This recipe is misleading. Cooking chicken isn’t as simple just like that. 😒
I totally get where you’re coming from! Cooking chicken can be tricky, especially if you don’t do it often. The recipe might seem simple, but timing is key! 🍗
Nah, it ain’t that hard if you follow the steps! Just needs practice, trust me. I’ve made this like 5 times now! It turns out delish every time. 👍
I made this for my boyfriend and he proposed the next day! Coincidence? 🤔
I followed the recipe, but it turned out kinda bland. I think more spices could help. 😕
