Turkey Meatball Sliders

May 15, 2024

Turkey meatball sliders are a fun and flavorful twist on traditional sliders. With juicy turkey meatballs packed with herbs and seasonings, nestled between soft slider buns, these mini sandwiches are perfect for everything from casual weeknight dinners to game day gatherings. They’re easy to make, customizable, and a hit with both kids and adults.

The key to a great turkey meatball slider is all in the seasoning. Ground turkey, while lean and flavorful, can be a bit mild on its own. But with the right mix of garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, and a little Parmesan cheese, these meatballs are bursting with savory goodness. A splash of olive oil helps keep the turkey moist as it cooks, ensuring a tender bite with every slider. You can also add a bit of breadcrumbs to bind the meatballs together and give them the perfect texture.

Once the meatballs are cooked, they’re ready to be piled onto slider buns. A slice of melty mozzarella, a dollop of marinara sauce, and a sprinkle of fresh basil bring everything together into a little sandwich that’s full of flavor. Whether you serve them on soft white buns, whole wheat buns, or even lettuce wraps for a lighter twist, turkey meatball sliders are a versatile dish that fits any preference.

These sliders are also a great meal prep option. You can make the meatballs ahead of time, store them in the fridge, and quickly assemble the sliders whenever you’re ready. They’re great for lunchboxes, parties, or even a quick weeknight dinner. And if you have leftovers, they make a great topping for salads or a filling for wraps the next day.

Turkey meatball sliders are the perfect balance of savory, juicy, and satisfying. Whether you’re looking for an appetizer or a main dish, these little sliders are sure to be a crowd-pleaser that everyone can enjoy.

      3 stars
I dunno, jalapeños ain’t the same as pepperoncini. Might be too hot for some peeps but if you like it spicy, go for it!
