Turkey Meatball Sliders

January 13, 2026

Turkey meatball sliders are a fun and flavorful twist on traditional sliders. With juicy turkey meatballs packed with herbs and seasonings, nestled between soft slider buns, these mini sandwiches are perfect for everything from casual weeknight dinners to game day gatherings. They’re easy to make, customizable, and a hit with both kids and adults.

The key to a great turkey meatball slider is all in the seasoning. Ground turkey, while lean and flavorful, can be a bit mild on its own. But with the right mix of garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, and a little Parmesan cheese, these meatballs are bursting with savory goodness. A splash of olive oil helps keep the turkey moist as it cooks, ensuring a tender bite with every slider. You can also add a bit of breadcrumbs to bind the meatballs together and give them the perfect texture.

Once the meatballs are cooked, they’re ready to be piled onto slider buns. A slice of melty mozzarella, a dollop of marinara sauce, and a sprinkle of fresh basil bring everything together into a little sandwich that’s full of flavor. Whether you serve them on soft white buns, whole wheat buns, or even lettuce wraps for a lighter twist, turkey meatball sliders are a versatile dish that fits any preference.

These sliders are also a great meal prep option. You can make the meatballs ahead of time, store them in the fridge, and quickly assemble the sliders whenever you’re ready. They’re great for lunchboxes, parties, or even a quick weeknight dinner. And if you have leftovers, they make a great topping for salads or a filling for wraps the next day.

Turkey meatball sliders are the perfect balance of savory, juicy, and satisfying. Whether you’re looking for an appetizer or a main dish, these little sliders are sure to be a crowd-pleaser that everyone can enjoy.

I don’t know, they were kinda dry. Maybe I overcooked the meatballs? I’ll try again with more milk.

    2. User avatar wilton.corwin30 says:

Not a fan of ground turkey but gave it a shot. Still tasted kinda weird. Maybe beef is the way to go.

  30. 4 stars
Recipe is solid. Just had to add extra cheese because I like it that way. 🧀

  31. 3 stars
Just okay. I feel like it was missing something. Maybe more spice? IDK didn’t do much for me.

  32. 3 stars
Why pepperoncini? Like, that seems kinda random. Can I just use pickles?

  33. 5 stars
Just made these and OMG! Delicious! I added some hot sauce and it took them to the next level.

    1. User avatar bernice.parker says:

Hot sauce? Really? That seems kinda odd for turkey meatballs.

  34. User avatar Maureen Hayes says:

Sliders! Good for parties! But why is there no ketchup? Ketchup makes everything better!

    1. User avatar Polly Ester says:

    4 stars
Yum!! I used ground beef instead and it was awesome too! Who needs turkey?

  37. 4 stars
I didn’t have pepperoncini, so I used jalapeños. They were good but a bit too spicy!

    1. User avatar rosia.marquardt58 says:

      4 stars
Using jalapeños instead of pepperoncini? That’s creative but I can see how it could be super spicy! Maybe just a few next time.

    2. User avatar giovanna.ruecker says:

      3 stars
I dunno, jalapeños ain’t the same as pepperoncini. Might be too hot for some peeps but if you like it spicy, go for it!

    2. User avatar carisa.johns says:

      4 stars
I had the same issue! The breadcrumbs made mine kinda dry too. I added an egg next time and it helped! Maybe try that?

meh. they taste okay, but I think I prefer beef meatballs to turkey. Just my opinion.

Why turkey? Should use beef, way better flavor. Just sayin.

Turkey meatballs? Isn’t that just a diet version of meatballs???

Sliders are super cute! But I used normal bread – who needs slider buns anyway?

Why do you have to use turkey? Can’t you just use beef? I don’t get it. Anyway, they are okay, I guess.

I was confused about baking time. Can you cook these on a stovetop instead?

Not a big fan of turkey, could barely taste the meat. I would suggest beef instead.

So good! Can you use different cheese? I’m not a mozzarella fan.

They were good but I think the meatballs are a bit bland. More spices next time!

Bland? No way! They tasted fine to me. Maybe you just need to eat more spicy food?

I totally agree! A pinch of chili flakes can really spice them up. Can’t wait to try it again!

Why are there so many ingredients? Just use ground meat and bread as a bun and save time!

Meatballs were okay, but what is with pepperoncini? Don’t like them.
