Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey lean
- 1 cup breadcrumbs Italian seasoned
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 ounces pasta your choice
- 2 cups marinara sauce store-bought or homemade
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 7-8 minutes.
- While the meatballs are cooking, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Once meatballs are browned, add marinara sauce to the skillet. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until meatballs are cooked through.
