Pork and Brussel Sprouts Delight

January 5, 2026

Pork and Brussels sprouts are a match made in culinary heaven. The savory richness of tender pork pairs perfectly with the earthy, slightly bitter flavor of Brussels sprouts. Together, they create a hearty, satisfying meal that’s both nutritious and delicious. Whether you’re making a quick weeknight dinner or preparing something special for the weekend, this pork and Brussels sprouts delight is sure to become a favorite.

The beauty of this dish lies in its simplicity. Pork tenderloin or chops are the ideal cut for this recipe because they cook quickly and stay juicy. Seasoned with a bit of salt, pepper, garlic, and fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary, the pork is seared to golden perfection in a hot pan. As it cooks, it releases flavorful juices that mingle with the Brussels sprouts, infusing them with rich, savory goodness.

For the Brussels sprouts, halving them helps them cook evenly and allows them to caramelize nicely when roasted or sautéed. You can toss them in a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper before adding them to the pan with the pork. As the pork finishes cooking, the sprouts become tender on the inside with crispy, charred edges, creating a beautiful contrast in texture.

This dish is a great option for a balanced meal that’s low in carbs and high in protein. The pork provides the necessary richness, while the Brussels sprouts add fiber and vitamins. If you want to make it even more exciting, you can add a splash of balsamic vinegar or a drizzle of honey towards the end for a touch of sweetness that complements the savory flavors.

Whether served with mashed potatoes, quinoa, or a simple salad, pork and Brussels sprouts delight is an easy-to-make, wholesome dish that’s sure to impress everyone at the table.

Not a fan of Brussels sprouts, but I tried it for the pork. It was very good, but my kids wouldn’t eat it.

I totally get how kids can be picky! Maybe try a different veggie next time? The pork sounds delicious though!

Pork in a skillet?? That’s not how my mom did it, but whatever. Whatever works for yall, I guess.

    1. User avatar liberal.hero says:

      4 stars
I think skillet cooking is just fine! It keeps the flavors in. Maybe give it a try? 😊

    2. 2 stars
I dunno, my mom used an oven for pork. Skillet seems risky… What if it burns?

  29. User avatar Hasimir Fenring says:

    1. User avatar Storm Atronach says:

      2 stars
I dunno, sounds kinda bland to me. Lemon’s nice, but it can’t save the dish if the meat’s dry. Did you use enough broth?

    2. User avatar rich.landlord says:

      5 stars
So glad to hear that! The lemon is such a nice touch, isn’t it? I’ve got to try this at my next get-together!

  30. User avatar Angelika Labadie MD says:

    3 stars
I dunno, the brussel sprouts were still kinda crunchy for my taste. Maybe I cook them too long? Idk lol

  31. User avatar derrick.white18 says:

Too much lemon for me 😩. I’ll stick with the basic pork recipes next time. Not impressed.

  32. User avatar margot.buckridge85 says:

    4 stars
Yum! Easy to make and super flavorful. Even the kids ate their greens!

  33. User avatar Anna Septic says:

    3 stars
This was a bit too salty for me, maybe I added too much salt? Not sure if I’ll try again.

    1. 4 stars
I think you might have misread the salt measurement. It calls for 1/2 tsp, not a full tsp. That could be why it was too salty! Give it another shot!

    2. User avatar Alysia Kutch says:

      5 stars
Too salty? Woah, I thought it was perfect! Maybe a little less salt next time, but I loved it!

  34. User avatar abby.heathcote says:

    2 stars
Wasn’t really a fan. The pork was dry and the sprouts were kinda mushy. Might need a new recipe.
