Mediterranean Tuna Salad with Feta is the perfect dish for those looking to enjoy something light, healthy, and full of bold flavors. This salad combines the fresh, briny taste of tuna with the tanginess of feta cheese, the crunch of crisp vegetables, and the richness of olive oil. It’s not only quick and easy to prepare but also incredibly satisfying, making it the ideal meal for a busy lunch, a light dinner, or even a picnic.
The heart of this salad is the tuna, which can be either canned or fresh, depending on your preference. For convenience, canned tuna works perfectly, especially when paired with fresh ingredients like cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, and Kalamata olives. These ingredients provide a refreshing crunch, making every bite more satisfying. The addition of feta cheese, with its creamy texture and salty flavor, elevates the dish, giving it a Mediterranean twist that’s hard to beat.
To bring everything together, the salad is drizzled with a simple dressing made from olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and dried oregano. The olive oil not only helps bind the flavors but also adds a rich depth, while the lemon juice gives the dish a zesty freshness that balances out the richness of the tuna and feta. A sprinkle of freshly cracked black pepper and a dash of salt finish the dish off, ensuring every ingredient stands out.
One of the best things about Mediterranean Tuna Salad with Feta is how customizable it is. You can add or swap out ingredients to suit your tastes. Toss in some roasted red peppers, capers, or even a handful of fresh herbs like parsley or basil for extra flavor. If you want a more substantial meal, consider adding cooked quinoa, couscous, or even a boiled egg.
Whether you’re looking for a quick weeknight meal or something to serve at a summer gathering, Mediterranean Tuna Salad with Feta delivers a perfect balance of flavors. It’s light, refreshing, and packed with nutrients, making it a go-to option when you want something healthy but delicious.

Looks good, but I don’t like fish! What could I use instead?
Sounds good, but do we really need all those ingredients? Lettuce with tuna is enough! 😄
This salad is super fresh! I added some avocado and it was delicious! Definitely a keeper! 🥑
Not really Mediterranean without some fresh herbs. Just saying.
This salad is so fresh and tasty! Love the feta!
I dunno. Fresh? It just seems like a bunch of stuff in a bowl. Where’s the flavor?
Absolutely! Feta really adds that tangy flavor. I can’t get enough of this salad! 😍
Easy recipe, but mine came out watery. I think my cucumber was too juicy—should’ve salted it or patted dry first.
yum!! just made diffrent, added some avocados!
Too many ingredients for me, I prefer simpler salads.
I dunno, I think all those ingredients make it taste better! But you do you, I guess! Salad is salad, right?
I get that! Sometimes less is more. Just a simple green salad with some olive oil and vinegar can be so refreshing. 🍅
I think tuna is gross. I’d never make this. Yuck!
Looks good. But ain’t lettuce supposed to be in a salad?
I didn’t have black olives so I used green ones and it was still solid. Also, I added chopped parsley because why not.
I mixed it up a bit and used a different cheese. Still good!
I made this for a picnic and it was a hit! Everyone loved it and I’m not even that great at cooking!
Super easy and fresh! Perfect for summer days. Thanks!
I’m not really a tuna fan, but this was surprisingly good! Will make again.
Wouldn’t it be better with chicken instead of tuna? Just a thought.
I think tuna is perfect for this recipe! Chicken would change the flavor too much. But hey, to each their own!
I didn’t have feta, so I used cheddar. Still turned out okay, but not the same.
Meh. Tuna salad is always kinda bland to me, and I couldn’t taste the oregano much even after extra. Maybe my oregano is old.
Old oregano would def do that. I always crush mine between my fingers before adding, sounds silly but it helps. Also, I make sure I’m using enough lemon—if you go light on the lemon, the oregano kinda disappears. Salt too… I used to under-salt and it was sad lol.
Totally get it—tuna salad can end up tasting kinda flat if the seasoning isn’t punchy. I’d try using fresh oregano (or at least checking that yours isn’t stale) and also letting it sit 10–15 minutes after mixing so the flavors mingle. Maybe add a pinch of garlic powder or extra lemon if you like it brighter.
Easy to make and perfect for summer picnics! I added a bit more lemon juice, yum!
Pretty simple to make and healthy too! I added some extra spices. Yum!
