Ingredients
- 0.5 pound ground beef
- 0.5 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms sliced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 4 ounces egg noodles cooked

Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and sliced mushrooms, and cook until softened.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to coat.
- Gradually add beef broth while stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream. Simmer gently without boiling.

I think maybe you overcooked it? The beef can get tough if you leave it too long. Also, did you use fresh mushrooms? That makes a difference!
