Grilled Cinnamon Sugar Peaches

May 21, 2025

Grilled cinnamon sugar peaches are a deliciously easy and unique dessert that combines the natural sweetness of ripe peaches with the rich, smoky flavor from the grill. The warm cinnamon sugar coating gives the peaches a caramelized, crispy exterior while the inside remains juicy and tender. This dessert is a perfect way to enjoy summer’s fresh produce and is ideal for outdoor barbecues, picnics, or a casual weeknight treat.

To prepare, start by halving ripe peaches and removing the pits. For best results, choose peaches that are firm but ripe, this ensures they won’t fall apart while grilling. Brush the cut sides lightly with melted butter or olive oil, which will help the cinnamon sugar adhere to the fruit and create that golden caramelized crust.

In a small bowl, mix together sugar and ground cinnamon, adjusting the ratio depending on how sweet or spicy you want the flavor to be. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar generously over the cut sides of the peaches, making sure they are well-coated.

Preheat your grill to medium heat, and place the peach halves cut-side down on the grill. Grill for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until the peaches are tender and grill marks are visible. The heat from the grill enhances the natural sugars in the fruit, giving it a delightful smokiness while the cinnamon sugar creates a slightly crispy, caramelized crust.

Once the peaches are done, serve them warm, and for an extra indulgent touch, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a drizzle of honey. Fresh mint leaves or a dusting of powdered sugar can add a beautiful finishing touch to this summery dessert.

Grilled cinnamon sugar peaches are the perfect balance of sweet, smoky, and spiced, making them a simple yet impressive dessert for any summer occasion.

I tried this with nectarines instead of peaches, and it was bomb! Great idea to add cinnamon.

Can you do this in the oven instead? Grills scare me lol.

Yum!! I added some vanilla ice cream on top, and now I can’t stop dreaming about it.

    1. User avatar maegan.schamberger83 says:

      2 stars
Really? I don’t think ice cream goes with grilled peaches. Seems weird to me.

    2. 5 stars
That sounds amazing! Ice cream makes everything better. Gonna try it your way!

  7. User avatar ahmed.mcdermott says:

Absolutely loved this recipe! The peaches were so sweet and caramelized perfectly on the grill.

Grilled peaches? Are you serious? Not my thing! Way too sweet for me.

3 out of 10. Was expecting something more flavorful. They tasted bland to me.

  10. 5 stars
These turned out ridiculously good. The cinnamon sugar caramelizes on the grill like magic—so warm and fragrant. I added a tiny pinch of salt and it made it even better.

    1. User avatar jarrod.hilpert says:

      5 stars
Yes!! The caramelization part is the best—mine gets all fragrant and glossy too. Love your tiny pinch of salt idea!

  11. 3 stars
Not bad, but 2 peaches felt like “for ants.” Also 1 tbsp sugar was kinda sweet—could use less or mix in salt? Still ate it all 😅

  12. User avatar Hasimir Fenring says:

    4 stars
Grilled peaches!? Who woulda thought? What a great idea! Added some honey on top too.

  13. User avatar staci.harvey says:

    2 stars
Not what I expected. The peaches didn’t really caramelize like I thought they would… maybe I did something wrong?

  14. User avatar marcela.nitzsche says:

    3 stars
Skeptical about this. Sounds too simple—do they really taste good?

  15. User avatar carolin.harvey1998 says:

I don’t know about grilling peaches. They just don’t seem right to me. I prefer them raw.

  16. User avatar sheree.anderson80 says:

I was skeptical at first, but then I tried them and wow! Easy to make and tastes delicious. Definitely a summer favorite now.

5 stars! My kids loved it! I added some honey too. Best summer treat ever!

    1. User avatar gail.stoltenberg43 says:

      5 stars
That sounds amazing! Honey is a great idea with peaches. I bet they tasted even better!

    2. 2 stars
I don’t know about this… Grilling peaches? Seems kinda weird to me. How’d they turn out exactly?

  19. User avatar Rob McKenna says:

    1 star
Peaches are kinda overrated. I mean, who needs fruit when there’s chocolate? 😜

  20. 4 stars
My peaches stuck a bit even though I had butter. Next time I’ll oil the grates more—still tasted great though.

  21. User avatar quinton.heller27 says:

    2 stars
I dunno, grilling fruits seems weird to me. They got mushy too fast. Not my thing.

  22. User avatar andreas.koepp36 says:

    2 stars
I think 3-4 minutes is too long on my grill. Mine charred slightly on the first side. Maybe medium-low next time?

  23. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

    5 stars
Yum! Just yum! I added vanilla ice cream, and it took it to another level. Sooo good!

  24. User avatar Quimby Ingmeen says:

    4 stars
Soo easy! I made this for my kids and they loved it. Definitely adding to my recipe book!

  25. 5 stars
These peaches were fantastic! So sweet and juicy after grilling. Perfect for summer!

    1. 2 stars
I don’t know about this. Grilled fruit sounds weird. Peaches are better fresh, right?

    2. User avatar kevin.hettinger says:

      5 stars
I totally agree! Grilling peaches really brings out their sweetness. Perfect treat for a BBQ!

  26. User avatar ALTplusF4 says:

    3 stars
Cinnamon and sugar? Sounds like a dessert rather than a fruit. I dunno about this one… đŸ€”

  27. User avatar asa.boehm says:

    3 stars
I think I did something wrong, mine didn’t turn out like the picture. What did I mess up?!

    1. User avatar agustin.emmerich2021 says:

      4 stars
Maybe your grill wasn’t hot enough? I always preheat mine for like 10 minutes to get that perfect char. Don’t worry, it happens! Just try again!

  28. User avatar meg.gerhold1975 says:

    5 stars
These peaches were amazing! The cinnamon sugar combo is just perfect. I grilled them for a little longer, and they turned out so juicy.

  29. User avatar madalyn.graham38 says:

    5 stars
Just wow! I added some vanilla ice cream on top and it was a game changer. Will make again!

  30. User avatar Michael83 says:

    2 stars
Eh, not bad. Kinda bland if you ask me. Maybe more sugar? đŸ€”

    1. 3 stars
Nah, I disagree! The cinnamon brings a nice kick, and peaches are sweet enough on their own. Did you use ripe peaches?

    2. User avatar Daedric Prince says:

      4 stars
I think the sugar amount is just right! Maybe you just need to let them cook a bit longer? The caramelization adds so much flavor!

  31. User avatar malcolm.kshlerin28 says:

    4 stars
I’m skeptical about grilling peaches, but wow. They got sweet and tender without turning mushy. Great quick dessert for weeknights.

    1. User avatar anonymous_hacker says:

      3 stars
Ok but 3-4 min cut side down sounds risky 😅 my grill runs hot. I’d do like 2 min maybe, and don’t burn the sugar-cinnamon. Still—nice idea!

    2. User avatar timothy.ernser says:

      5 stars
I’m with you—didn’t think grilling would work, but the butter + cut-side down time makes sense. Totally trying this for dessert tonight.

  32. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

    2 stars
I tried this recipe but my peaches turned to mush. Not sure what I did wrong.

  33. User avatar dina.bins78 says:

    5 stars
These were insanely good—caramel vibes with the cinnamon. I did 4 minutes on the first side and 3 on the second and they were perfect. 10/10 with vanilla ice cream.

  34. 5 stars
    Yum!!! đŸ‘đŸ”„

  35. User avatar Ford Prefect says:

    4 stars
Simple and actually tastes like summer. I used slightly less cinnamon because I’m sensitive, but still great. Would make again with nectarines too.

  36. User avatar burl.larson says:

    4 stars
Pretty good! I followed it mostly, but my peaches took a bit longer than 3-4 minutes. Still turned out sweet and juicy.

  37. User avatar rozella.schaden84 says:

    3 stars
Good idea but mine stuck a bit on the grates even though I used butter. Maybe I should oil the grill too. Flavor was still tasty though.

  38. User avatar Frost Troll says:

    2 stars
It was okay… maybe next time more sugar? Just not sweet enough for me. đŸ€”

  39. 4 stars
    I don’t know
grilling fruit seems kinda pointless when you can just bake or pan-fry. But I’ll admit it was delicious, just faster than I expected.

  40. 5 stars
My mom used to make something like this and I always loved it. A trip down memory lane!

  41. User avatar denver.langworth54 says:

    1 star
Didn’t like the cinnamon idea. Who puts cinnamon on fruit? Just eat ’em plain!

  42. User avatar lenny.cummings2000 says:

    2 stars
Grill? On medium heat? This seems like a fast way to burn sugar. Mine started getting too dark before the peaches were tender.

    1. User avatar jess.macejkovic74 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—medium heat is still easy to scorch because that sugar/cinnamon caramelizes fast. I always keep an eye on the cut side and pull them the moment they look glossy, not dark.

    2. User avatar missy.satterfield23 says:

      4 stars
I tried this and my peaches got too burned too 😅 I think 3-4 min on the first side is too long for my grill. Maybe lower the heat or grill shorter until tender—also make sure the peaches are really ripe so they soften faster.

  43. User avatar Frost Troll says:

    4 stars
I was skeptical about grilling fruit, but wow. The cut-side browning is where it’s at. Next time I’ll do a little less sugar so it caramelizes more evenly.

    1. User avatar francine.beer says:

      5 stars
Yes! The cut-side browning is legit caramel territory 😄 I did it once and now I’m hooked on grilled peaches.

    2. User avatar Slartibartfast says:

      3 stars
I tried this but I think I used too much sugar, it got all sticky and kind of burned on me. Still tasted good though—maybe lower heat?

  44. User avatar rich.landlord says:

    4 stars
Wasn’t sure about the cinnamon, but it actually worked great. Remarkable combo!

  45. 5 stars
Perfect summer treat! Great for impressing guests! I even added some honey. Yum!

    1. User avatar gordon.rowe says:

      5 stars
Wow, adding honey sounds like a fantastic idea! I’ll have to try that next time. Thanks for the tip!

  46. User avatar colleen.walter47 says:

    5 stars
Super easy and my kids loved it! They even asked for seconds! Will definitely make again.

    1. User avatar michele.waters2012 says:

      2 stars
Really? I don’t think grilling peaches is a good idea. Aren’t they supposed to just be eaten fresh?

    2. 5 stars
That sounds amazing! I can’t wait to try it with my kids too. They love peaches!

  47. 3 stars
    Looks good

    1. User avatar guy.kuvalis34 says:

      5 stars
Thanks! The cinnamon sugar on the cut side caramelizes so nicely—definitely try it with a little ice cream.

    2. User avatar Ryuu Shenlong says:

      3 stars
Hmm sounds good but 3-4 min cut side down feels short—my peaches always stick and turn mushy 😅 Still gonna give it a go though.

  48. 3 stars
Yea, I guess they tasted good, but they look burnt 😳. Better luck next time!

    1. 4 stars
Yeah, I overcooked them a bit! 😅 Thanks for the encouragement though. I’ll try again!

  49. User avatar rhonda.dare2005 says:

    3 stars
I don’t know, my peaches ended up mushy. Maybe I grilled them too long? 😕

  50. User avatar diamond.schamberger says:

    5 stars
The cinnamon-sugar combo is classic, and grilling really elevates it. I added a tiny squeeze of lemon at the end and it made it brighter.

  51. User avatar Sabre Cat says:

    5 stars
Just peachy! Can’t believe how easy this was. Gonna make again for sure.

  52. User avatar ashlyn.block says:

    2 stars
Grilled peaches? Sounds weird to me. Who even eats warm fruit? I’ll pass.

    1. User avatar kareem.pouros2002 says:

      5 stars
Grilled peaches are actually amazing! You should give them a try! The warm fruit is a game changer! 🌟

  53. User avatar Cleotilde Abbott says:

    2 stars
Nope. 5-6 minutes total? Peaches can be mush after that. I think you should watch closely.

    1. User avatar Falmer Shaman says:

      2 stars
Nahhh, 5-6 mins is fine. I grill mine way longer and they come out fine. Maybe your peaches were over-ripe or your grill runs too hot.

    2. User avatar zulema.littel says:

      5 stars
I get your point—if peaches are super ripe they can go mushy fast. I’ve found 3-4 min cut-side down is perfect if the grill isn’t too hot, then just a quick flip.

  54. User avatar shameka.sauer33 says:

    1 star
Yuck! I thought this was gonna be good, but it just tasted weird with the sugar and cinnamon. Not for me.

  55. User avatar basementDweller says:

    2 stars
Isn’t this just grilled fruit? How special can it be? 😅

  56. User avatar jae.harvey78 says:

    5 stars
These peaches are soooo good! Perfect summer treat! 🍑

    1. User avatar sandy.ledner68 says:

      5 stars
I just made these and they taste amazing! Definitely a new favorite! 🌟

  57. User avatar Shonna Mann says:

    5 stars
Easy and delicious! I served them with vanilla ice cream, a total hit at the BBQ! 🌟

  58. User avatar modesto.gusikowski2023 says:

    2 stars
Not bad, but it didn’t really wow me. I’ve had peaches with honey and bourbon that blew this away.

    1. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

      4 stars
Fair—peaches with honey and bourbon sounds way more “wow.” This one’s more simple/sweet than boozy. I’ll try your version sometime!

  59. 5 stars
Yum! I tried it with vanilla ice cream and it was like a festival in my mouth! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

  60. User avatar elbert.osinski43 says:

    5 stars
So easy! Didn’t expect grilled fruit to be this flavorful. Next time I’ll brush with a little more butter because it looked kinda dry at first, but it worked out.

  61. User avatar leota.stanton says:

    5 stars
These peaches are a game changer! I grilled them last night and they were soooo good. Definitely a keeper!

    1. 3 stars
I love grilled peaches! But did you really think they were THAT good? Seems a bit over the top.

  62. User avatar Daag Chokah says:

    4 stars
Super easy and quick. My peaches were a bit too ripe though, so they got slightly mushy on the flip, but still tasted amazing with ice cream.

    1. User avatar earl.terry16 says:

      5 stars
That sounds perfect for a quick dessert night! 🍑 Sorry about the mushy flip, but I love that it still worked out—ice cream always saves the day.

  63. User avatar sammy.jenkins1970 says:

    2 stars
Way too much butter for me. I’d cut it in half next time. The flavor was okay, just heavy.

  64. 5 stars
The cinnamon sugar is the right amount for me. I served it with vanilla ice cream and it tasted like summer. Would absolutely make again when peaches are in season.

  65. 3 stars
I tried this with some nectarines instead and it was ok, but not as good as I expected. Maybe it’s better with actual peaches?

  66. 2 stars
Not sure about grilling peaches—aren’t they supposed to get all dry? Mine did a bit, but I think cutting them thicker would help.

  67. User avatar mathWizard says:

    4 stars
Can you use any fruit? I was thinking of trying this with apples instead. Thoughts?

  68. 4 stars
I messed up and put the sugar on before brushing butter, so it clumped—still tasted fine though. My fault, not your recipe.

  69. User avatar curtis.harris38 says:

    5 stars
This recipe is AMAZING! The flavors are so good together. Grilling the peaches brings out their sweetness. I topped it with ice cream, yum!

My husband doesn’t like peaches, but he liked this! Surprise, surprise! Guess grilling helps.

  71. User avatar thad.rath1960 says:

Very easy recipe! But other fruits would work too, like apples or bananas. Just a thought!

  72. 5 stars
These peaches turned out amazing! So sweet and juicy. Made them for dessert and everyone loved it.

  73. 5 stars
Lowkey genius. One of the only desserts my grill can handle besides burgers 😅. I added a drizzle of honey after—highly recommend.

    1. User avatar odilia.cruickshank says:

      5 stars
Lowkey? More like high-key delicious 😄 Honey drizzle is such a good move. The cinnamon sugar on the grill is perfect.

  74. User avatar dee.rosenbaum51 says:

    4 stars
I tried this but my peaches stuck a bit (even with grilling). Next time I’ll oil the grates or use foil. Flavor was still nice though.

  75. 3 stars
Peaches or not, I still love grilling! Gimme a steak any day!

    1. 2 stars
I don’t know about this peach thing. Steak is where it’s at. Peaches just ain’t my jam.

    2. User avatar filiberto.hettinger says:

      5 stars
Grilled peaches are amazing! They make a great dessert after a steak. You should give it a try!

  76. User avatar rosendo.grimes says:

Super easy recipe but I think I overcooked mine a bit. Still tasted okay, but I wanted more caramelization.

  79. User avatar Shaddam Corrino IV says:

    5 stars
OMG best dessert ever!!! I could eat this all day. 😍

    1. 5 stars
I totally agree! These peaches are like little bites of heaven! 🍑✹

  80. 4 stars
Is there a way to do this on a stove instead? My grill is broken 🙁

  81. User avatar jeromy.rogahn46 says:

    4 stars
I thought the sugar and cinnamon would burn, but it mostly caramelized. Next time I’ll keep the heat a touch lower.

    1. 5 stars
Good save! Caramelizing instead of burning is exactly what you want with that mix. I’ll try it with slightly lower heat next time too.

  82. User avatar marita.macejkovic says:

    3 stars
My peaches were a little too ripe so they got soft fast—like, more “peach jam” than slices. Still tasted good though.

  83. User avatar leonard.homenick2006 says:

    4 stars
My family loved this recipe! They were super sweet and had a nice char. Perfect summer dessert!

  84. User avatar Zaphod Beeblebrox says:

    2 stars
I don’t know… grilled fruit? Sounds weird to me. Can’t be that good. I think I’ll stick to my usual desserts.

  85. 3 stars
I used cinnamon, but I think I measured wrong bc it was super strong. Still edible, just not my taste. Otherwise the cook times were pretty spot on.

  86. User avatar harrison.pouros94 says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I’m skeptical about grilling fruit + cinnamon. But I made it anyway and wow
it’s like peach pie filling without the crust.

  87. 5 stars
Yummy! Also made a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top like you said. Pairing is epic!

  88. User avatar warren.ratke55 says:

    3 stars
Could’ve been better. My peaches got too mushy on the grill. Overall okay though.

    1. User avatar anonymous_hacker says:

      3 stars
Mushy peaches happen sometimes. They taste good tho, so don’t be too hard on yourself! Just means next time pick firmer ones.

    2. 4 stars
I had the same issue with my peaches! Maybe they were too ripe to start with? But still, the flavor was great!

  89. User avatar phillip.marvin14 says:

    5 stars
These turned out amazing—caramel-y edges and the cinnamon sugar tasted like summer on a plate. I added a little vanilla to the sugar mix and it was perfect.

  90. User avatar ShanksOnePiece says:

    3 stars
Way too much cinnamon for my taste. I think 1/2 tsp would be plenty. Also, don’t walk away—mine started sticking.

  91. 3 stars
Mine came out kinda mushy—probably left them too long. I’ll shorten the flip time next time. Still tasted yummy.

    1. User avatar kermit.green2025 says:

      3 stars
Mushy peaches is tragic 😅 next time try shorter total time or grill with cut side down just until softened. Also make sure they’re still firm-ripe, not super overripe.

    2. User avatar sam.kuvalis says:

      4 stars
Ahh yeah, that sounds like they may have gone a touch too long. I usually watch for the cut side to get nice and caramel-y, then flip—timing on the same “medium” heat can vary a lot.

  92. User avatar lupe.mcclure2022 says:

    4 stars
I followed the steps exactly and they didn’t fall apart like I thought they would. But the flavor is excellent. Would make again for sure.

  93. User avatar luis.hartmann says:

    4 stars
I was skeptical about grilling fruit, but wow. The outside gets kind of jammy. Just make sure peaches are really ripe or they won’t soften fast.

  94. 5 stars
These were ridiculously good—caramelized edges and the cinnamon sugar smelled like dessert heaven. I added a little pinch of salt and it totally popped.

    1. User avatar shawnda.moore68 says:

      3 stars
I tried it but mine came out kinda wet—like the sugar melted right away. Maybe I used peaches that were too juicy? Still tasty though, just not as “caramelized.”

    2. User avatar fabiola.olson says:

      5 stars
Yes!! The caramelized edges are the best part. I made these last weekend and the cinnamon sugar totally smelled like dessert heaven too.

  95. User avatar Alfredo Monahan PhD says:

    5 stars
    One-word: yum.

    1. User avatar laurene.cremin69 says:

      5 stars
      Yum!

  96. 4 stars
Grilling fruit? That’s a new one for me. My grandma would have never! LOL.

  97. User avatar Jarod Vandervort says:

    2 stars
Not sure if I did it wrong, but the sugar mostly melted off and ended up on the grill. Still got a sweet smell though. Any tips to prevent that?

  98. User avatar Thaddeus Kuhic Jr. says:

    3 stars
Pretty good, though my peaches were super ripe and they got a little soft/fell apart when I flipped them. Still sweet and tasty—just need firmer fruit or gentler flipping.

  99. 2 stars
My butter was runny and the cinnamon sugar clumped, so I had to spread it with a spoon. Taste was fine, presentation was kinda ugly lol.

  100. 5 stars
Tried this tonight—so easy and the cinnamon-sugar caramelized perfectly. The peaches smelled amazing on the grill.

  101. User avatar manuel.cruickshank38 says:

    4 stars
Does butter really need to be melted? I tried it not melted and it clumped
I guess I learned something. Still tasty though!

    1. User avatar Thanatos says:

      4 stars
I’ve done it with softened butter and it was kinda messy too 😅 but I think next time I’ll warm it just a bit so it spreads. Still, peaches are peaches—can’t really mess it up!

    2. User avatar Huey Lowe V says:

      5 stars
Yep—melted butter helps it brush on evenly and not clump. The clumps usually happen when the butter starts solid again before it coats the fruit.

  102. User avatar teddy.damore64 says:

    5 stars
These came out insanely fragrant. The cinnamon caramelizes a bit on the grill and it’s so good with vanilla ice cream.

    1. User avatar Emily Saunders says:

      5 stars
Yes!! I love when the cinnamon caramelizes like that. I just made these and the vanilla ice cream combo is unreal.

    2. User avatar mathWizard says:

      3 stars
Maybe I did something wrong but mine burned a little on the cut side after like 2 minutes—had to turn the grill way lower. Still tasty though.

  103. User avatar holly.dubuque1977 says:

    5 stars
These peaches are AMAZING! So sweet and juicy! I can’t believe how easy this was! 5 stars!

    1. User avatar ambrose.pacocha1979 says:

      5 stars
I totally agree! These peaches are the perfect summer treat. Just made them too and they turned out delicious!

  104. User avatar Shandra Graham says:

    3 stars
This was ok. I forgot to buy cinnamon and it was not the same. Maybe next time I’ll do better.

    1. User avatar emmett.hickle27 says:

      5 stars
Cinnamon really adds a lot! You should definitely try again with it next time.

  105. User avatar lilli.gutmann says:

    5 stars
Delicious! Made this for a BBQ and everyone loved it! Will make again!

  106. User avatar ShanksOnePiece says:

    4 stars
This is just peaches and sugar
on a grill. But somehow it feels fancy? Like backyard restaurant vibes.

    1. User avatar mathWizard says:

      5 stars
Honestly this sounds ridiculously easy, but I get what you mean—peaches + cinnamon on a grill does feel kinda fancy. 🍑

  107. User avatar tuan.schumm says:

    4 stars
I followed it mostly, but I only grilled one side and they were still great. Next time I might add a pinch of salt to make the flavor pop.

  108. 1 star
Grilled peaches? Really? I just don’t get it. They look burnt.

  109. User avatar gilberto.metz says:

    4 stars
I don’t get why butter needs to be melted, but I did it anyway. The sugar stuck really well and the smell was amazing. Texture was awesome once I didn’t overthink the timing.

  110. User avatar alda.mcclure says:

    5 stars
I’m not usually a fan of grilling fruit, but wow. The char + cinnamon is legit. Served with vanilla ice cream and it was gone fast.

    1. User avatar carol.fisher68 says:

      5 stars
I don’t usually do fruit on the grill either—kinda thought it’d be mushy—but the cinnamon-sugar idea makes me want to try it. Char + vanilla sounds dangerous (in a good way).

  111. User avatar marion.rutherford says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but I felt like it needed a pinch of salt to really make the sweetness pop. Otherwise it tasted a little flat.

  112. User avatar lachelle.murray1969 says:

    4 stars
The timing is spot on if your peaches are ripe. Mine were softer, so I only did about 5 minutes total and they were perfect.

  113. User avatar jody.mitchell1990 says:

    3 stars
Came out kinda burnt on the bottom and raw-ish inside—probably my grill runs hot. Still tasted good though, just ugly lol.

    1. User avatar norberto.bartoletti37 says:

      4 stars
Ugh, that’s the worst—sounds like your grill is running hotter than the recipe’s “medium.” Next time try lowering it a notch and keep a closer eye after the first 2 minutes on cut-side down. Also flipping a bit earlier might save the bottoms.

  114. 2 stars
Ok I tried it and I messed up by not pitting all the way
still edible but would not recommend 😅

    1. User avatar Eccentrica Gallumbits says:

      4 stars
Ahh no worries—glad it was still edible 😄 I’d say next time just go a little slower on the pitting so you don’t accidentally underdo it.

  115. User avatar Mrs. Maya Spinka says:

    5 stars
So easy. The peaches smelled amazing on the grill. Only thing is I used less sugar because my peaches were already sweet, and it still tasted great.

  116. 3 stars
I followed everything and it was
ok? Like sweet peaches with cinnamon. I expected more “wow.” Maybe I undercooked? Not bad though.

    1. User avatar antony.white says:

      5 stars
Honestly? I think 3-4 min is too short. I grill mine like 6-7 min cut side down, then another few. Also add a tiny pinch of salt—makes the cinnamon taste way better. Not lying 😅

    2. User avatar Vroomfondel says:

      4 stars
I get what you mean—mine can be “just pleasant” if the peaches aren’t super ripe. If they were underripe, even 5-6 minutes won’t get that wow factor. Did you taste-test for tenderness before flipping?

  117. User avatar terrell.zieme85 says:

    4 stars
Easy and fast. I used a tiny pinch of salt in the sugar mix and it really bumped the flavor.

  118. User avatar cristopher.kihn says:

    5 stars
This is basically dessert for people who don’t want to bake, lol. Still, it worked perfectly. 10/10 would grill again.

    1. User avatar larita.carter23 says:

      5 stars
Haha I love this—dessert that skips the whole baking situation. I tried it and it *totally* tasted like it came from a fancy grill place.

  119. User avatar mohammad.reichert34 says:

    3 stars
I followed it exactly and my peaches were kinda soft-but-not-tender after the time. Maybe my grill runs hot? Still tasted good though.

    1. User avatar Terrance Cassin says:

      2 stars
Mine woulda been hard if I cooked it that long. Did you maybe use unripe peaches? Also I’m not sure about grill medium lol—mine burned quick even on low.

    2. User avatar edwardo.legros51 says:

      4 stars
Totally possible—peaches can go from “soft” to “meh” fast if the grill runs hot. Next time try medium-low or just 1 min less on each side. Glad it still tasted good!

  120. User avatar Dwarven Centurion says:

    3 stars
I messed up and used cinnamon sugar right in the bowl with the butter, and it still tasted fine. Kinda like a quick glaze.

  121. User avatar rich.landlord says:

    3 stars
Just a tip – using nectarines works just as good, believe me! 👍

  122. User avatar juan.krajcik says:

    2 stars
They turned out way too mushy for me. Not a fan of the texture after grilling.

  123. User avatar dianna.lindgren35 says:

    3 stars
For 2 peaches, it feels kinda small—like is this really enough for a whole family? But the flavor was strong, so maybe as a side dessert.

    1. User avatar reid.grant says:

      4 stars
Yeah, for a whole family it might feel a bit light—unless you’ve got other sides. But as a dessert for a few people or a sweet topping, it sounds spot on.

  124. User avatar elmer.quitzon89 says:

    4 stars
Tried it exactly as written and they were tender, sweet, and not messy. Only thing: my grill runs hot, so 3 minutes first side was enough. Great quick dessert.

  125. User avatar hiedi.kreiger73 says:

    5 stars
These peaches were AMAZING! I never thought I’d like grilled fruit. 10/10!

    1. User avatar lucille.rempel says:

      5 stars
I was skeptical at first, but grilled peaches are actually so good! Glad you liked them! 😋

  126. User avatar hortensia.funk91 says:

    4 stars
Simple and easy! I made this with my kids and they loved it! Will definitely make again. Thanks for sharing!

  127. 4 stars
The cook time was pretty spot on for me. Mine got a little charred at 4 minutes on the first side, but flipping fast fixed it. Will make again!

  128. User avatar Effrafax of Wug says:

    5 stars
These peaches came out so fragrant—cinnamon + butter is a perfect combo. I did 4 min total on each side and they were juicy and tender. The ice cream suggestion is spot on.

  129. 2 stars
Why grill them at all? I feel like it dries them out. I’d rather pan-sear or just bake—this one wasn’t my thing.

  130. User avatar theresia.kris38 says:

    5 stars
These were ridiculously good—sweet but not cloying. The cinnamon caramelizes a bit on the grill and it tastes like summer.

  131. User avatar rex.parker1963 says:

    5 stars
Simple and honestly kinda fancy for how few ingredients. I used slightly firmer peaches and they still turned tender after a few extra minutes.

  132. User avatar sol.reinger says:

    4 stars
Does anyone else think it needs a pinch of salt? Like, the sweetness is there but it feels slightly flat without it.

  133. User avatar Leto II Atreides says:

    3 stars
This is missing something like salt or a squeeze of lemon. It tasted a little flat until I added lemon at the end.

  134. User avatar Cathryn Hackett says:

    3 stars
I don’t taste much cinnamon tbh. Maybe my cinnamon was old? The peaches were fine but I expected more spice.

  135. User avatar evelyne.okon83 says:

    4 stars
2 peaches felt like not enough for me 😂 but maybe I’m just hungry. Great simple dessert idea.

  136. User avatar lurline.denesik19 says:

    2 stars
I dunno, grilling fruit seems kinda weird to me. Just eat them fresh or put them in a pie. đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž

  137. 5 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about grilling fruit with sugar, but wow. The butter is doing the heavy lifting. 10/10 for a quick dessert.

    1. 4 stars
      Wait
grilled fruit? I guess it works 😅 I’m gonna try it but I might use less sugar cuz 1 tbsp seems like a lot for two peaches. Still looks yummy tho.

    2. User avatar Artie Choke says:

      5 stars
I tried something similar and the cinnamon-sugar caramelizes so nicely. The butter really keeps it from getting dry. Sounds perfect for a quick dessert!

  138. 5 stars
These peaches turned out so sweet and smoky—3 minutes on the first side was perfect for my grill. I added vanilla ice cream and it was honestly dessert-level.

    1. User avatar wellRespected says:

      5 stars
Yes! The cinnamon sugar + butter combo is legit. I did 3 min cut-side down like you and they caramelized instead of getting mushy—ice cream is a must.

    2. User avatar brandy.stark says:

      3 stars
I tried this but mine were kinda burnt on the edges at 3 minutes—maybe my grill runs hot? Also I used brown sugar and it was sweeter than expected. Still tasty though.

  139. User avatar glenn.hauck says:

    4 stars
I made these for a BBQ but forgot the ice cream. Still turned out ok, but I think it could’ve been better with it!

    1. User avatar Sina Rodriguez says:

      3 stars
BBQ and no ice cream? That’s like a burger with no fries! But I bet they were still delicious!

    2. User avatar adell.schinner says:

      4 stars
Ice cream would have been great but still sounds tasty without it! Maybe try adding some whipped cream next time?

  140. 4 stars
Simple but really effective. The cinnamon sugar caramelizes nicely. I used a little extra butter and it felt even more decadent.

    1. User avatar leland.toy says:

      5 stars
Yes! The caramelization is the best part—mine got that little crunchy cinnamon edge too. Super quick and not fussy.

    2. User avatar clair.mayert says:

      3 stars
I tried it but I think my grill was hotter? The sugar kind of burned on the edges before the peaches were really tender. Still tasted okay though, just need lower heat next time.

  141. User avatar Elder Kai says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but 3-4 minutes on the first side felt like too long. My peaches got a bit charred and mushy on the edges.

    1. User avatar renate.parker says:

      4 stars
Ah, that makes sense—3-4 min cut-side down can definitely go too far if your grill runs hot. Next time I’d do like 2-3 min max on the first side and keep an eye for that just-starting-to-char look. Also, using slightly less direct heat or brushing a bit more butter can help prevent mushy edges. Sorry yours got charred, but the idea still sounds spot-on!

  142. User avatar rolf.mayert36 says:

    2 stars
I tried it once and my peaches were mushy. Maybe mine were too ripe. Also, my cinnamon burned a bit because my grill runs hot. Could be a temperature thing.

    1. User avatar lance.kautzer61 says:

      4 stars
Your cinnamon burning totally makes sense if your grill runs hot. Next time, maybe use a lighter sprinkle (or add the cinnamon-sugar after a minute) and keep the heat more “low-medium.”

    2. User avatar CTRLplusW says:

      5 stars
Yeah, mushy peaches usually mean they were overripe or grilled a little too long. I’d try slightly firmer peaches and keep an eye on the first 3–4 minutes—maybe pull them as soon as they look tender.

  143. 5 stars
These turned out AMAZING. The cinnamon-sugar caramelized way more than I expected on the grill. Ate them warm straight off the grate—10/10 with ice cream.

  144. User avatar karl.waelchi says:

    4 stars
I tried this and it was super tasty! Also, who needs a recipe when peaches are sweet already? 😅

    1. User avatar ronnie.kassulke35 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—ripe peaches don’t need much, but the cinnamon sugar + grill adds that little magic. 😋

    2. User avatar solomon.ratke says:

      3 stars
      I mean
peaches are already sweet, so I skipped the sugar/cinnamon and just grilled them with butter. Still good, but not the same vibe as your version. 😂

  145. User avatar Gurney Halleck says:

    4 stars
    So fast!!

  146. User avatar smartestRedditor says:

    3 stars
Is it just me or were these a bit too sweet? I guess you can adjust sugar, though.

    1. User avatar lester.harber42 says:

      5 stars
I thought they were perfect! The sweetness was just right for me. Maybe your peaches were extra ripe?

    2. User avatar marcel.hills24 says:

      3 stars
Too sweet? Nah, just right! But you can always tone down the sugar. Just don’t go overboard on the cinnamon!

  147. User avatar odell.williamson3 says:

    3 stars
I tried it with nectarines and it was good, but I think peaches are way better. Nectarines are juicier? idk, maybe I did something wrong.

  148. 3 stars
The instructions say 3-4 min then 2-3, but my peaches were done in like 5 total. I flipped and waited anyway and they got a little mushy. Still flavorful!

  149. User avatar vivan.goyette says:

    5 stars
These turned out amazing—caramel-y edges and the cinnamon flavor is perfect with warm peaches. I served with vanilla ice cream and it was gone fast.

  150. User avatar patricia.boyer1965 says:

    3 stars
I tried it but the sugar burned on my grill a little. Next time I’ll lower the heat or use less sugar—still, the butter helped a lot.

  151. 5 stars
5/5 would grill peaches again. That buttery cinnamon scent made my whole porch smell like a bakery. Ice cream suggestion is perfect.

  152. 4 stars
I love the flavor combo, but 3-4 minutes was too short for my grill—had to cook longer on the first side. Watch them closely.

  153. User avatar fausto.graham96 says:

    2 stars
Mine burned a little on the second flip. Maybe my cinnamon+sugar got too concentrated because I sprinkled heavily. I’ll be more careful next time.

  154. 4 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about grilling peaches with butter/sugar, but it actually works. The cinnamon really pops.

    1. User avatar nigel.gislason says:

      5 stars
Okay I’ll admit—this sounds way better than it has any right to. Cinnamon peaches on the grill are dangerous (in a good way).

  155. User avatar Queen Rutela says:

    3 stars
The flavor is good, but I wish there was more cinnamon. Like… more. I might do double cinnamon next time because mine tasted mild.

  156. User avatar ila.bartell2014 says:

    2 stars
Tasted weird lol. I’m not a fruit person. No thanks.

  157. User avatar shenita.metz39 says:

    5 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about grilling peaches with just sugar + cinnamon. But wow, the cut side caramel turned out perfect.

  158. User avatar golden.dubuque45 says:

    5 stars
Wow. peaches on grill is genius. My family wanted more immediately. Pls don’t judge my grammar lol.

  159. User avatar gaston.zboncak2025 says:

    4 stars
Mine stuck to the grill a little even though I melted butter. Next time I’ll oil the grates too—still tasted great though.

    1. User avatar karma.wisoky40 says:

      4 stars
Mine did that once too, I blamed the peaches being too juicy 😅 but maybe the grill just wasn’t oiled enough. Next time I’ll try oiling the grates like you said. Also do you use high heat or medium?

    2. User avatar keith.schulist1951 says:

      5 stars
Good call—grates can be sneaky. I usually lightly oil the grates (even if I butter the fruit) and it helps a lot. Glad they still tasted great!

  160. User avatar Bowerick Wowbagger says:

    3 stars
    The cinnamon sugar smelled amazing
then I flipped them and they got a little too soft and messy. Tasted good, just not pretty.

    1. User avatar Kid Trunks says:

      4 stars
Aww, that happens when you flip a little too early 😅 The flavor is the win though—next time just grill a touch longer cut-side down so they firm up before the flip.

  161. 4 stars
I’m skeptical about grilling fruit without it turning to mush
but it worked! Mine charred a tiny bit on the edges, which was honestly yummy. Next time I’ll keep the heat a touch lower.

  162. User avatar shirley.steuber4 says:

    2 stars
Okay, but don’t you think the sugar is too much? Seems like diabetes waiting to happen. đŸ˜©

  163. User avatar diego.collier72 says:

    1 star
Grilled peaches? You people are just making things weird. đŸ„Ž

  164. User avatar twanda.price says:

    4 stars
Super easy and honestly way better than I expected. I used slightly under-ripe peaches and they still softened up nicely on the grill.

    1. User avatar rickiestmorty says:

      5 stars
That’s awesome—so glad the slightly underripe peaches still worked! I always worry they’ll stay too firm, but grill + sugar/cinnamon makes sense. Going to try this with what I have on hand. Thanks!

  165. User avatar wendell.wintheiser1960 says:

    3 stars
Mine stuck a little—next time I’ll oil the grates more. Flavor was great though, just not as pretty.

    1. User avatar shelli.reinger1980 says:

      5 stars
Ugh, that happens. Oiling the grates more (or even a light brush directly on the cut side before sugar) usually saves it. Glad the flavor still came through though—peaches being sweet + cinnamon sugar is always a win, even if they’re not Pinterest-pretty.

  166. User avatar chadwick.gleason26 says:

    4 stars
I followed it pretty much exactly, but my peaches were still a bit firm after 3-4 min on the first side. I gave them extra time and they were perfect after that.

  167. 2 stars
Garlic. No, wait—sorry—my cousin told me to add garlic for some reason 😅 Didn’t. Still good. Would recommend with vanila ice cream.

  168. 5 stars
These came out super fragrant—cinnamon + grilled peach smell is unreal. I added a tiny squeeze of lemon at the end and it made the flavor pop. Will definitely make again.

    1. User avatar Michael83 says:

      5 stars
Yes!! That cinnamon-peach combo is seriously unreal. I’ve never tried lemon at the end though—sounds like a great little trick.

  169. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

    4 stars
So easy. Prepping was fast, cleanup was even faster. I served mine with yogurt and it was a great dessert.

  170. User avatar ettie.reichert2003 says:

    5 stars
Yo this is FIRE. Like, I could eat them plain. My neighbor asked for the recipe lol.

    1. User avatar arlie.kunze says:

      3 stars
I tried this but I think my peaches weren’t ripe enough
mine stayed kinda firm. Still tasty though—next time I’ll grill longer I guess.

    2. 5 stars
Right?! The cinnamon-sugar combo on the grill is straight up magic. I bet those get all caramel-y in the best way.
