Delicious baked peaches infused with saffron flavor.
Ingredients
- 4 peaches ripe
- 1 tsp saffron threads
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1/4 cup pistachios chopped
- 1/4 cup raisins
- vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.
- In a small bowl, combine the saffron threads and honey. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Brush the melted butter over the cut side of each peach half.
- Drizzle the saffron-infused honey over the peaches.
- Sprinkle the chopped pistachios and raisins evenly over the peaches.
- Place the peach halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and juicy.
- Serve the baked peaches warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
