This was fantastic! The Greek salsa really adds a zing!
These are so easy to make! I used store bought salsa tho.
I’m lazy so I used bottled salsa vibes but like… it was still pretty tasty. However the feta kept falling out of the pita lol.
Honestly I get it—bottled salsa can totally save time. Also Greek salsa with feta is always a vibe… and yeah, feta loves to escape the pita 😂
Wait bottled salsa? I feel like the whole point is the fresh tomatoes/cuke/olives. Next time try chopping everything—2 minutes max. Also maybe warm the pita less so it doesn’t crumble and dump the feta everywhere.
My pita ripped when I opened it 😅. Maybe I warmed too long. Flavor was awesome though.
This was the best thing I ever tried! I’ve never liked olives, but they were pretty good in this! 😊 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Greek salsa is the star. I’m picky about cucumber in salads and this was great—crunchy and not watery. Would definitely make for guests.
Totally agree—Greek salsa can make or break it. The crunchy cucumber not turning watery is the best kind of surprise. 😄
I’m skeptical about grilled pitas—mine got a little dry. I think I left them too long. Still tasty, just not as soft as I wanted.
Not gonna lie, I didn’t chop everything as small as the recipe says and it was still good. Crunch + creamy feta = perfect. Easy weeknight meal.
Looks good but I don’t get the whole olive thing. Can’t we just leave them out? I can’t stand them! 🙄
I think the chicken was too dry. Maybe I cooked it too long? Not making again.
Where’s the garlic? Needs more flavor. I won’t make this again.
Really good flavors, but my chicken took longer than 6–7 minutes a side (thicker breasts). I’d say 165°F internal is the real key.
Totally agree—thicker breasts definitely throw off the 6–7 min timing. I always go by temp too; 165°F is the real safety/key. Glad the flavors came through!
I followed the steps but my pitas kinda got too toasted on the grill. Next time I’ll warm them off to the side or shorten the time. Chicken was juicy at least.
Ugh, sorry about that! With pitas it’s super easy to overshoot—maybe your grill runs hotter than “medium-high.” I warm mine just until they puff a bit, then pull right away and finish on the side of the grill (or even in a pan). Glad the chicken stayed juicy though.
Wait… 1-2 min on each side is enough? I always toast them like 5 min lol. Maybe I should do what you said and move them off to the side. Still sounds good with the salsa + chicken.
This recipe is amazing! The Greek salsa adds so much flavor. I made it for my family, and they couldn’t get enough! 5 stars!
Way too much lemon! I felt like I was drinking lemonade. 🙄 ⭐⭐
Tried it last night and it was a hit. I used a little extra lemon and it really popped. Whole wheat pitas worked great too—no soggy issues.
Quick and easy! Didn’t have olives, used pickles instead. Still turned out good!
My kids loved it! We even added some avocado. So good!
Greek-ish, but I love it. I used chopped red onion and it punched up the whole thing. Would absolutely make again for a quick dinner.
Love hearing this! The red onion really does make it pop—nice work. Quick dinners that taste like “effort” are the best 😄
Greek-ish is right 😂 I’d be worried the feta would get too salty, but if it tasted good for you then I’m convinced. How much onion did you use roughly?
This was easy and quick! Perfect for a weeknight meal. Will definitely make again!
How can you even suggest olives? Just gross. Ingredient swap needed!! 😝 ⭐⭐
Olives are essential for Greek food! You can always leave them out if you don’t like them. 😁
No way! Olives make it taste awesome. Just try it before you knock it! 🤷♂️
Quick dinner! I added some hot sauce, and wow! Yum!
This recipe is a game changer! I’ve made it twice this week. So fresh and tasty!
Absolutely delicious! The salsa tastes super fresh and the lemon/olive combo is perfect with the grilled chicken. I added a little extra feta and it was even better.
Grill chicken too long, too dry! Red onon was too strong too. Not making again. 2/5.
I don’t have a grill, can I bake it? Seems like it would still work, right? 🤔
Five stars. My kids actually ate it without complaining. The salsa is basically a cheat code for flavor.
Love this! “Cheat code for flavor” is so accurate 😄 The salsa makes it taste like restaurant food.
My kids aren’t usually that cooperative lol but this sounds decent. Do you chop the olives pretty small? Also, do you mean kalamata or “kalamata-kale” (I’ve seen that typo).
Salsa was too tangy for me. Next time I’ll add less lemon!
I accidentally used regular green olives instead of kalamata… yeah it was not the same. But the lemon/parsley saved it. Worth trying with the right olives!
Ha, that actually makes sense—kalamata are super briny and a bit softer than regular green. Glad lemon + parsley rescued it though! I’m adding this to my “use the right olive” checklist 😄
I did not have feta so used cheddar and it was still yummy! Great recipe, thanks!
I tried it and the chicken was juicy, but my salsa got a little watery from the cucumbers. Next time I’ll salt the cucumbers and drain first.
Best chicken pitas ever! Gonna make this again for sure!
Nice and quick recipe, but could use more seasoning. Maybe some garlic?
Grilling chicken is easy as pie! I always season it with garlic powder too. Great filling meal! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
So easy to make. I made this for my family and they all loved it!
Sounds good, but I wonder if it really is that easy. I usually mess up grilling chicken.
I’m so glad you and your family enjoyed it! It’s one of my favorites too! 😊
I don’t get the hype—cilantro would’ve been better than parsley. Also Kalamata olives are kinda bitter, so it threw me off.
This is the best grilled chicken pita I’ve ever made! So flavorful and filling. The salsa really makes it pop! 🌟
My pitas dried out on the grill—maybe I left them too long. Next time I’ll warm them slower or wrap them. Still tasted good though.
Tasty! But why call it ‘Greek’ when I don’t see any tzatziki? Just sayin’.
Loved this recipe! So fresh and tasty. The Greek salsa really makes it pop!
I totally agree! The Greek salsa is a game changer! I added some avocado to mine today. So good!
Not sure why everyone loves it so much. Seems like a lot of ingredients for just a pita. Can’t be that special.
Pitas were soggy, and my chicken didn’t cook right. Sorry, not for me.
Sorry to hear that! Maybe the chicken was undercooked or the pitas were left out too long? I’ve had that trouble too. 😕
Doesn’t really taste like Greek food to me, maybe too much lemon? I might pass next time.
I thought it was really tasty! The lemon adds brightness, maybe you used too much? Just gotta balance it out. Don’t give up on Greek flavors yet!
Made these last night and they were a total hit—juicy chicken and the salsa is fresh and super flavorful. The lemon + feta combo is perfect.
Easy peasy! I just threw it all together and it turned out great. Perfect for a quick dinner 🌟
Really? You just threw it all together? Seems too easy, I’m not sure if it will work for me. 🤔
Sounds delicious! I love quick meals like this. Gonna try it tonight! 😋
This feels restaurant-level. The whole wheat pitas warmed on the grill are key. I might try adding oregano to the chicken seasoning.
Chicken was bland even with salt/pepper. Maybe I under-seasoned? Also, I forgot to rest it for a few minutes and it juiced out all over the place… lesson learned.
Oh no—yeah, forgetting the rest can definitely make it leak juices and feel less flavorful. Also, “salt/pepper to taste” is kinda tricky with bigger breasts. Next time, try salting a bit more generously (even 10–15 min before grilling helps) and make sure the pita + salsa are really punchy with enough lemon/olive oil and a pinch of salt. Medium-high grill can dry it out too if it goes longer than 6–7 min/side.
Good flavor combo, but my chicken took a bit longer than 6-7 min per side (thicker breasts). Still turned out juicy though.
Totally—thicker breasts can definitely take longer than 6–7 min/side. Glad yours stayed juicy though! I usually go by internal temp instead of the clock. What temp did you end up with?
I didn’t have kalamata olives so I used green ones. It was still good, just different. Also I mixed everything too early and it got soggy—so wait to combine closer to serving.
Love it! Pitas were delicious and chicken was juuuust right. 👌
Just ok. Pitas were kinda dry for me. Maybe I should’ve added more sauce or something. 🤷♂️
Wow. Simple ingredients, but it tastes like restaurant food. 10/10, no notes.
Quick and easy! Perfect for weekday dinners. Thx for the recipe!
Boring. Greek salsa sounds fancy but it’s basically chopped salad in a bowl. I wanted more sauce, not just topping.
Not all chicken is good in pitas. Tried it but still prefer wraps.
I totally get you! Wraps are just way more filling and manageable. Pitas can be tricky sometimes.
My grill skills are questionable 😅—chicken charred before it was fully cooked. Salsa saved the day though. I guess medium-high means medium for me lol.
Honestly I’d keep it closer to medium and check with a thermometer—chicken can lie about being “almost done.” Salsa is doing heavy lifting though 😂
Been there 😅 “medium-high” is a scam sometimes. Did you rest the chicken after grilling? That helps it finish cooking without turning to charcoal.
Why do you need so much olive oil? Is that healthy?
I dunno, seems a bit bland for my taste. Maybe try adding some spice? 3 stars.
Bland? Nah, it’s the fresh flavors that count! Sometimes simple is best. The Greek salsa is great as is! 5 stars!
I totally get where you’re coming from! A little kick of spice can really make a dish pop. Maybe try adding some cumin or chili flakes? 4 stars for the suggestion!
Ugh, I hate olives. I just used extra cucumbers instead. Still good, but not my best dish.
Cucumbers instead of olives? Interesting choice! The chicken must still be delicious!
The whole thing went soggy. Maybe the tomatoes were too juicy? Not my favorite.
This sounds like the perfect weeknight upgrade—juicy grilled chicken + that Greek salsa is basically a flavor explosion. Can’t wait to try it.
It was just okay… The chicken was dry, maybe I overcooked it?
This was solid and way healthier than takeout. Pitas warmed up nicely too. Only thing: my chicken took a bit longer than 6-7 minutes per side, so I’d say check temp.
I don’t know about using whole wheat pita. Regular pita is way better. Just sayin’.
I dont know about the olives. They were too salty for me, but overall it turned out okay. ⭐⭐⭐
Not bad, but I found the salsa a little salty with feta + olives together. I’ll reduce feta next time or use less olive.
Hmm maybe you added extra salt? I usually skip extra salt once the feta and olives are in, ‘cause they already salty. Also could cut lemon juice less? But reducing feta like you said is probably easiest.
Totally get that—feta + olives can be pretty briny. Next time I’d start with a lighter hand on the feta or rinse/soak the olives for a minute and then pat dry. Thanks for the tip!
meh
Not sure about “medium-high” for chicken breasts for 6-7 mins per side. Mine almost burned outside before the inside was done. I’d recommend checking temp (165°F).
Nuts! I forgot the olives and it still tasted amazing!
No olives? That’s weird! I think they’re a big part of the flavor! But I guess if it still tasted good, then cool! 👍
That’s great to hear! Sometimes you gotta roll with it and tweak recipes. What did you use instead of olives? 🤔
Too many ingredients for me. Kinda complicated for a cooking novice like me.
I get that! Cooking can be a bit overwhelming at first. Maybe start with just the chicken and pitas and work your way up to the salsa? It’ll still taste good!
Nah, it’s not that hard. Just throw everything in a bowl and grill the chicken! You can do it! Trust me.
Yummm! The Greek salsa is a game changer. I added some bell peppers too, and it was even better. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I tried it too! The Greek salsa is awesome, but I didn’t have feta so I used cheddar. Still good!
Super easy to make! My kids loved it. Will definitely be making this again! Thanks for sharing! 😊
Not bad, but the salsa felt a little salty with the olives + feta. Next time I’ll reduce feta or rinse the olives (if that’s even allowed).
I wasn’t sure about the olives, but they really make the dish. Surprised how much I liked it!
Is it just me or lemon makes everything taste weird? 😒
This was fantastic! The Greek salsa really added a burst of flavor to the chicken. Will make again!
This was a hit with my family! The chicken was so juicy and the salsa added a fresh kick. Delicious!
Sounds amazing! I can’t wait to try this recipe. My kids love pitas!
Tasted great! Buuuut, I think the chicken was a bit dry, maybe cook less? Just a thought.
Not for me. I don’t like cooked chicken much. Gonna stick with cold cuts. ⭐
Cold cuts?? Seriously? You missin out on some good flavors with grilled chicken! Just saying! 😅
I totally get that! Not everyone enjoys cooked chicken. Have you tried other recipes with cold cuts? They can be great too! 😊
Too much lemon juice maybe? I followed it exactly and it was kinda tangy, like almost pickly. Still ate it all, but I’d reduce lemon next time.
Pitas are the perfect wrap! Used leftover chicken. Tasted even better! Will definitely repeat! 💖
Love Greek flavors! I added some red pepper flakes to the salsa for spice. Yum!
That sounds delicious! Greek flavors are the best. I’ll have to try the red pepper flakes next time!
Yum! The salsa really pops with the chicken. I added some avocado and it was great!
The chicken was a bit dry, maybe I grilled it too long? I dunno…
I like that it’s whole wheat pita and not all greasy. Also the instructions are clear. Great summer meal vibes.
I don’t get why people rave about Greek food. This was kinda bland…
I think Greek food has a lot of flavor, but maybe this recipe didn’t hit the mark for you. It’s all about personal taste!
Yum! I added some avocados because I had them, and it was a hit!
Not sure if avocados would work with chicken like that. Seems odd, honestly.
Avocados sound like a delicious twist! I never thought of adding them. Might try it next time!
I made this for my family and they loved it! Just used regular pitas as I couldn’t find whole wheat ones. Still tasted great! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
That’s awesome! I’m glad your family enjoyed it. Regular pitas are fine too. ❤️
Not sure about Kalamata olives in this—seems too intense for me. The feta helped, but I think I’ll swap in regular green olives next time.
This recipe is so easy and delicious! I can’t believe I made something that tastes like a restaurant dish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Delish 😋 Would make again!
Looks good, but I think grilling chicken is kinda overrated. 😐
So glad you liked it! The Greek salsa really makes it pop! 😍
Meh. Just another chicken recipe. Not impressed. 😒
Made it last night-ish. The salsa was super fresh, but I think my feta was a bit too salty, so I’d use less salt next time. Still really good!
This is just grilled chicken and veggies, right? Not sure what the fuss is about… kind of a boring meal. 1 star.
I’ll stick with tacos. Pitas are weird.
Pitas are not weird, they’re just different! Try them with the right fillings and you’ll see. 😋
Tacos are great, but you’re missing out on pitas! They’re super versatile! 🥙✨
Wow, this tastes super fresh. The salsa is bright and salty with the olives + feta—perfect with grilled chicken. I’ll definitely make it again for weeknights.
I tried this recipe but I accidentally put too much salt in the chicken. Lesson learned! Next time I’ll be more careful.
Wow, these were a hit with my kids (and they usually complain). I served it with tzatziki and they asked for seconds.
I’m skeptical about grilling pita—mine got a little too toasty and dried out. Next time I’ll watch it closer or just warm it in a pan.
Tried it and it was amazing. My whole family asked for seconds. I didn’t even have kalamata olives so I used green olives and still good lol.
I followed it pretty much exactly and it turned out juicy. The pita warm-up step is small but makes a big difference—nice texture.
I liked the idea, but mine came out a bit bland. Maybe I didn’t salt enough for the salsa? The chicken was juicy though, so I’ll try again with more seasoning.
I dunno about this Greek stuff… seems kinda weird. Just give me BBQ sauce.
The salsa is amazing—kinda like a Greek salad but way easier to eat in a pita. Only thing: I had too much juice, next time I’ll drain tomatoes/cucumbers a bit.
Yes! Draining the tomatoes/cucumbers is a great call—my pitas get soggy if I don’t. I usually let the diced cucumbers sit in a colander for a few minutes, then pat a bit dry. Your note about the juice makes perfect sense.
Granma used to put chicken on pitas too, but she’d add some sauce. Miss her cooking.
So easy. Five stars. Yum!
I cooked the chicken wrong and it was tough. Followed the time, but it was still yuck.
Ok but 6-7 minutes each side seems long for thin chicken breasts… Mine got slightly overcooked. Flavor is great, just watch the temp.
Yeah, 6-7 min each side sounds like a lot 😅 Thin breasts usually go fast. I’d just rely on temp—overcooked chicken is no fun. Flavor is still awesome though.
Thanks for the heads-up! I did 5 min/side on mine and it was still juicy—6–7 might depend on thickness and how hot your grill is.
This was an amazing recipe! The flavors are so fresh and vibrant. I will definitely make it again!
I’m skeptical about grilling time. 6-7 minutes per side sounds risky for chicken breasts—mine would’ve been undercooked. I checked with a thermometer.
Pretty good overall, but my chicken took longer than 6–7 minutes per side. I think my grill runs hot/cold? Next time I’ll check internal temp instead of relying only on time.
This is a solid weeknight meal. Steps were clear, and my pita held up well after warming. Next time I’ll dice the onion smaller so it’s less sharp.
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about putting cucumber and olives in the salsa together, but it somehow works. Texture contrast is awesome. Will make again.
I tried this, but my chicken got burnt. Maybe my grill was too hot? Not sure if I’ll try it again.
Why is it called Greek salsa if it ain’t salsa? Confusing.
I think it’s just a different take on salsa! It adds a Greek twist to the usual. Can’t wait to try it!
Lol I forgot to let it rest, and it was still tasty but jusst not as juicy. Also my cucumber went everywhere when I chopped it (oops).
Greek-ish sandwich… I mean it’s good, but I kinda wish there was more sauce. Maybe add extra feta or more olive oil?
More feta might work… but be careful, too much makes it salty and not “Greek-ish” anymore lol. I’d try stirring the feta in and letting it sit 10 minutes so it releases flavor and moisture.
Totally agree—this salsa is tasty but kind of chunky. Next time I’ll go heavier on the olive oil (or add a splash more lemon) so it feels more saucy in the pita.
My salsa came out super salty because my feta was salty. Next time I’ll taste first and go lighter on the salt.
Oh no—yeah feta can be *so* salty. Tasting before adding extra salt is a great call. Next time try using less feta or swapping in part of the feta with something milder (or just add salt at the very end).
This looks awesome—Greek salsa with feta and olives is such a good combo. I love how the pitas get warmed on the grill too.
Greek salsa on pitas? Interesting. I feel like 1/2 cup feta is a lot maybe it’ll get salty fast. Also my grill never warms pitas evenly, so I usually toast in a pan—worth trying.
Yesss—this sounds like exactly the kind of fresh, salty-sour combo I love. I’m definitely using kalamata + feta in the salsa… that’s gonna be so good with grilled chicken.
The salsa is good, but it’s kind of a lot for one medium bowl of pita filling. I ended up with extra salsa and ate it with chips lol. Still delicious.
Honestly meh. The salsa was good but everything felt kind of basic. Would love more spices or sauce.
Are the olives necessary? I didn’t like them in mine.
Flavor is great but it felt a little salty with the feta + olives. Next time I’ll use less feta or rinse the chopped olives (if that’s even a thing).
The Greek salsa took me longer than expected (dicing everything), but it was worth it. I used regular black olives by mistake once and it still tasted good.
Absolutely loved this—fresh, bright salsa paired with smoky grilled chicken. The feta + lemon combo really pops. I added a pinch of oregano and it was even better.
Yes!! The lemon juice + feta is such a good combo—makes it taste restaurant-level. I also like adding a little garlic to the salsa sometimes (if you’re into that).
I tried it but my salsa came out kinda watery… probably because I diced the cucumber too big? Next time I’ll drain/squeeze it. Still tasty with the chicken though!
Made these last night—so fresh and the salsa is legit. I added a little extra lemon and it really popped. Will grill again for sure.
Pretty easy weeknight recipe. I grilled a bit longer since my chicken was thick, but otherwise followed it. Salsa stayed crunchy—nice!
I think 6-7 mins each side felt a little too fast for my thick breasts too. Next time I’ll go by temp, not the clock. Salsa was still good though—crunch for sure!
Totally agree—weeknight chicken recipes that don’t turn into a project are the best. I also like letting it rest a couple minutes before slicing.
My grill runs hot so 6–7 min a side woulda turned my chicken into shoe leather 😂 I did it shorter and it worked. Recipe is fine, just watch timing!
Kinda bland for me tbh. Maybe my salt was off? I’ll try more pepper or add garlic to the salsa next time.
The ingredient list is fine, but the instructions are kinda vague. Like how thick are the chicken breasts? Also “warm pitas” could mean anything. Still tasted good.
This is “Greek” but the cooking is just grilling. Still, it’s tasty and I can’t complain. Will make again.
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about “pitas” on a grill but it worked! The pita gets that smoky edge and the whole thing tastes like a café sandwich.
Okay I’m converted 😄 I always assumed pita would get weird on the grill, but that smoky edge sounds perfect. Gonna try this tonight!
Hmm “medium-high” makes me nervous for the pita—mine always burns before it warms through. Maybe wrap it in foil or keep the heat lower? Either way, looks tasty.
Love the ingredient list, especially the cucumber + tomato combo. I did find it needed more salt though—mine tasted a bit flat at first.
This was such a fresh, summery combo. The lemon + feta with the grilled chicken is perfect. I even meal-prepped the salsa and it still tasted great the next day.
Yes!! That lemon + feta combo is seriously so bright. I made this for a weeknight and the leftovers were still really good too. The salsa texture stays nice in the pita.
I tried it but I think I might’ve mixed up the measurements 😅 My salsa was kinda runny, and I didn’t rest the chicken long enough so it felt dry. Still tasty though—next time I’ll keep the tomatoes/cucumber more drained.
Super fresh and bright. The lemon juice really pops, and the olives give it that salty punch. Will make again for sure.
The instructions are simple, which I appreciate. I just wish it said how thick the chicken should be, because mine were giant.
I hear you. The “giant” part is real 😅 I followed it exactly and my chicken took way longer. Next time I’ll cut them in half or butterfly? Also wish it mentioned thickness like 1 inch or something.
Totally agree on the simplicity. I usually just pound mine to an even thickness before grilling so they cook in that 6–7 min window—otherwise yeah, giant ones can mess up the timing.
Ok so I cooked it but it felt like “salad inside bread” 😅. It’s edible, just not my thing. I give points for the flavors though.
