Breakfast burritos are a delicious and satisfying way to start your day. Packed with scrambled eggs, savory meats, fresh vegetables, and melted cheese, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla, these burritos offer a combination of flavors and textures that will keep you full and energized throughout the morning. Whether you’re rushing out the door or enjoying a leisurely breakfast, breakfast burritos are versatile, easy to customize, and perfect for meal prep.
At the heart of a great breakfast burrito is scrambled eggs. Their soft, creamy texture pairs perfectly with any filling, whether it’s crispy bacon, savory sausage, or sautéed vegetables. Potatoes, either roasted or hash-browned, are also a popular addition, offering a satisfying crunch and hearty flavor. Fresh salsa, avocado, or sour cream can be added for extra creaminess and flavor, while cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or queso fresco) brings the burrito together with a melty, indulgent finish.
For added variety, consider adding extras like spinach, mushrooms, onions, or bell peppers to bring some color and nutrients to your breakfast burrito. Some people like to include hot sauce for a little kick, while others prefer a mild flavor with fresh cilantro or a squeeze of lime.
One of the best things about breakfast burritos is their flexibility. You can make them as light or as indulgent as you prefer. They can also be easily made ahead of time, wrapped in foil, and stored in the freezer for a quick grab-and-go breakfast during the week.
Whether you’re making them from scratch or ordering them at your favorite breakfast spot, breakfast burritos are a perfect way to enjoy a balanced and satisfying meal to start your day right.

Yummy, but why do you need milk? Eggs are already wet enough.
I think the milk makes it creamier. Never tried without it though!
Burritos is good, but why use flour? Use corn! Corn tortillas taste better.
I added some avocado and hot sauce to mine and wow, amazing! Definitely a 5 star!
I dunno, I think hot sauce might be too much for breakfast. Just stick with the regular salsa, folks.
Avocado and hot sauce? That’s genius! I never thought of that. Definitely gonna try it next time!
This is just scrambled eggs in a tortilla. What’s the big deal? 🤔
Salsa is a must! Completes the flavor perfectly.
Absolutely! Salsa adds that extra zing that just makes everything better. Can’t have a burrito without it!
Pretty good, but I think it needed more seasoning. Just felt kinda bland.
I agree! A bit more spice would really elevate it. Maybe try adding some chili powder next time!
I think it’s just fine as is. Sometimes less is more! 🤷♂️
I don’t understand why you’d put sausage in burritos. Seems weird to me.
I don’t like onions, so I don’t know why I added them. Didn’t taste right to me.
If you don’t like onions, why’d you put them in? Maybe try leaving them out next time. They can be strong in dishes like this.
I love onions! They give such a nice flavor to the eggs. But I get it, not everyone likes them. Just skip it next time!
This recipe seems too simple for breakfast burritos. I expected more ingredients. Disappointed.
Coudn’t get them to stay rolled up no matter what I did. Help?
Easy recipe, would like to see more variations. Thx!
These were so easy to make! Best breakfast I’ve had in a while. 😊
Too much eggs for me. Next time gonna try with just 3 eggs. Less is more!
I get where you’re coming from! But I think the 6 eggs make it really fluffy. You should try it that way once!
Less eggs? No way! More eggs = more flavor! But hey, do what you like. Just don’t call it a burrito! 😂
Delicious! We loved these burritos! Added some avocado too, yum!
Burritos for breakfast? Hell yeah! Who’s gonna stop me? #BreakfastEveryday
I made this for brunch and everyone devoured them! Will definitely make again.
Omg, I missed the part about cooking sausage. Made them veg. by accident. 😂
These burritos are so tasty! I made them for breakfast and my family loved them.
Glad to hear you liked them! They’re a favorite in my house too. What kind of salsa did you use?
Someone tell me, why do we cook the veg before the eggs? Isn’t it better all mixed?
Salsa and sour cream on everything; you can’t go wrong. Yum!
I agree! Salsa makes everything better! Can’t wait to try this recipe!
I didn’t have sausage, so I used bacon instead. Still turned out really good! Just an idea for others.
Way too much milk in the eggs, it made them watery. I will skip the milk next time.
These breakfast burritos are AMAZING! So easy and delicious! I will make them every weekend!
They were okay, but my kids didn’t like them much. I think they needed more spices or something. 🤔
Totally agree! The mix of flavors is just perfect! I added avocado to mine, and it was even better!
Made this for my kids and they loved it! Super quick in the morning.
I always add more veggies! Spinach and tomatoes go great in these. Nice recipe!
I agree! More veggies make it healthier. Spinach is my favorite addition too!
For the love of god, who puts salt and pepper in a burrito? It should be spicy! #NoTaste
Salt and pepper ain’t no spice! Just a mistake if you ask me. 🤷♂️
I totally agree! Burritos need a kick! More spice please! 🌶️
This is pretty much just an omelette in a wrap. Not bad but not what I expected.
I think flour tortillas are tradish, but corn ones are better, don’t you think? Just my opinion.
