August 9, 2023

When it comes to breakfast, sometimes you want something filling, flavorful, and full of protein to keep you energized throughout the morning. Grilled steak and veggie breakfast burritos are the perfect choice for anyone looking for a satisfying meal that’s packed with savory goodness. This burrito is not just for breakfast, it’s a versatile, hearty dish that can be enjoyed any time of day.

The star of this burrito is the grilled steak, which is marinated in a mixture of spices, herbs, and a touch of lime juice to bring out its rich, smoky flavor. Once grilled to perfection, the steak is sliced thinly and served alongside sautéed vegetables, such as bell peppers, onions, and zucchini, which add both flavor and color to the dish. The veggies are lightly cooked to keep their crispness, offering a delightful contrast to the tender steak.

To add even more flavor, scrambled eggs are added to the mix, creating a creamy, fluffy texture that complements the savory ingredients. The eggs help bind the steak and veggies together, making each bite satisfying and filling.

Once everything is cooked and ready, it’s wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla, which holds all the ingredients in place while allowing for easy enjoyment. You can also customize your burrito with extra toppings like shredded cheese, avocado slices, salsa, or a dollop of sour cream for an added burst of flavor.

Grilled steak and veggie breakfast burritos are not only delicious but also a great way to start your day on a high note. They’re full of protein and healthy fats, which will keep you feeling full longer and provide the energy you need to tackle your day. Whether you’re on the go or enjoying a leisurely weekend breakfast, this burrito is sure to satisfy your hunger and your taste buds. It’s a breakfast that’s as delicious as it is filling, and it’s sure to become a favorite in your meal rotation.

Burritos are my fav, but this one was a bit too fancy for me. I just wanted a classic one! But I guess it was decent.

I totally get what you mean! Sometimes all you want is a simple burrito without all the frills. But at least it sounds decent! 😊

I messed up my grill settings…my steak ended up burnt. But it’s still tasty, I think!

Glad you liked it! The steak really makes a difference, doesn’t it? I’m planning to try this with chicken next time.

I dunno, sounds good but I think it might be too much stuff in the burrito. How can you even fold that without it falling apart? 🤔

I don’t see what’s so special about this. Just another burrito recipe. Meh.

I skipped the veggies and just used cheese and salsa, still tasted good.

I liked the combo, but my burritos leaked a bit. Next time I’ll warm the tortillas longer so they roll tighter. Also, 4-5 min per side felt fast for my grill, but it still turned out tasty.

So glad you liked it! Burrito leaks are real—warming the tortillas longer is a great fix. I usually make sure the tortillas are fully flexible before rolling, otherwise the filling fights back 😅

Huh, 4-5 min per side on a grill seems way too quick for steak unless it’s super thin. Maybe that’s why it leaked? Mine always gets better when I rest longer and slice after it cools a bit. Still—sounds tasty though.

Pretty tasty, but my tortillas tore when I rolled them. Next time I’ll warm them longer so they’re more flexible. Flavor was still great though.

Meh. Too many steps for a burrito. The veggies were fine, but the steak flavor got lost under salsa. I’d do this as a bowl instead of a wrap.

Totally get it—this one’s pretty step-heavy for a breakfast burrito. I’ve made similar mixes and agree the salsa can drown the steak flavor if you go heavy-handed.
