Made these last night—so juicy and the sauce is super flavorful. I used a little extra garlic because why not. 400°F worked perfectly for me.
I didn’t have honey, so I used maple syrup. Still turned out good!
I think maple syrup might change the flavor too much! But glad it worked for ya. I love this recipe!
Maple syrup? That’s interesting! But I dunno if it taste the same. I’d stick with honey next time.
I love how fast this is. It tastes like takeout but without the price. I served it with rice and broccoli and it was a full meal.
I’m not a chef, so maybe I’m missing something, but these meatballs just didn’t taste like I wanted. Too sweet or something.
My kids loved them! They even asked for seconds. It’s a winner in my house. 5 stars!
Tried these on a whim. They turned out great, but I forgot the sesame oil. Still yummy! 4 stars.
Good recipe, but I substituted beef for chicken. Still came out tasty!
Wow these are good! I messed up and used soy sauce AND teriyaki sauce (oops) but it still worked. Probably not “authentic,” but delicious.
Not sure about the sweet part. Honey + hoisin + soy was kinda too much for my taste, and the red pepper flakes feel optional. Would make again but reduce honey.
Totally get it—honey + hoisin + soy can be *very* sweet. Reducing the honey is a great call. I might try 1/2 tbsp next time.
Yum! I added some crushed pineapple to the meat mix and it turned out delicious. Great recipe!
Not bad, but the sauce is kind of sweet for my taste. Would reduce the honey or add more vinegar. Also, 400°F seems high—mine browned quickly.
These meatballs are delicious! The teriyaki sauce has such a great flavor!
These meatballs are a game changer! So tender and packed with flavor! Will make them again for sure. 🍗😊
Baked chicken meatballs AND teriyaki sauce? Why didn’t I think of this sooner! Saving the recipe!
Meatballs? I thought this was a chicken recipe. Whatever, they were okay but not my fav. Ever tried them with beef? 😐
I dunno, chicken is better for meatballs, right? Maybe try the recipe again without beef ideas. 😏
Yeah, beef meatballs are good too! But these chicken ones are pretty delicious, trust me. 🌟
Honestly, I found the flavors a bit off. Not as good as I hoped.
These meatballs were a hit at dinner! So flavorful! 😍
Not bad, but I think the soy sauce was too much. I added more honey to balance it out. Still, kinda tasty.
This recipe is too complicated! Just fry the chicken! You don’t need all these fancy sauces.
Eew, health things like chicken yuck. I prefer beef.
But chicken can be really good if cooked right! You should try it! 😊
Easy and delicious! Used leftover soy sauce from takeout, no waste! 🌟
I love using leftovers too! This recipe is a winner! 🍽️
Why does everyone always say ground chicken? Chicken is chicken, man.
I didn’t have hoisin sauce so used BBQ sauce instead, it’s not teriyaki anymore lol!
LOL, BBQ sauce? That sounds interesting! Might just have to try that twist!
These meatballs turned out amazing! My family loved them!
Noms!!! I can’t stop eating these! Perfect for meal prep!
I loved them too! I made a double batch, and they were gone in a day. 😋
Nice! Will make it again. My kid loves these meatballs!!!
These meatballs are the bomb! So juicy with amazing flavors. My kids devoured them!
I’m skeptical about mixing breadcrumbs with ground chicken—usually they get weird texture—but these turned out fine. The glaze makes it. Would recommend.
wait so you mix the sauce ingredients twice? like once for the glaze and once in the meatballs? sounds confusing but maybe that’s why it works 🤷♂️
I had the same worry—breadcrumbs + chicken can get kinda mushy—but I’m glad yours came out fine. Gonna try adding more green onion too.
Yesss! Make these meatballies! You’ll love em, super tasty just like at the restraunt! 10/10
I can’t wait to try these! They sound delicious especially with the sauce. Thanks for sharing your excitement!
Are you sure these are like restaurant meatballs? My guess is they’d be too dry. I’ll stick to takeout.
I tried this recipe but found it meh. The meatballs were kinda dry. 🤷♀️
I think it’s important to check the baking time and maybe when you mix the ingredients, don’t forget to add enough moisture. Sometimes ground chicken just needs that extra kick! 🤔
Can you make this with tofu instead of chicken? Asking for a vegetarian friend.
The teriyaki sauce is the star. I followed the cornstarch step exactly, and it thickened like it should. Kids even asked for seconds 😅
Good flavor, but mine came out a bit dry. Next time I’ll probably bake for closer to 15 minutes and maybe use slightly fattier chicken. Still worth making again!
Meatballs = good. Chicken = good! You can’t wrong with this! Yum! 😋
5 stars all the way!! Super easy to make, and tasted like restaurant quality!
Not sure about baking and then brushing sauce—seems like it could dry out the glaze. Still, the flavor was there so I can’t complain too much.
Delicious and so easy. Perfect weeknight meal!
I don’t know… sounds too easy, like it will be bland or something.
Totally agree! This recipe is my go-to on busy nights. My family loves it!
Awesome meal! Making it again this weekend! 💖
Yum! I skipped the red pepper flakes and they were still great. 👍
I didn’t think they could be good without the red pepper, but you proved me wrong! Thanks for sharing! 😊
Just okay. Wish there was more spice, didn’t really taste the red pepper flakes.
Simple and fun! I let my kids help shape the meatballs. Thanks!
I was skeptical at first. Ground chicken is a bit bland, but the sauce was nice.
Great recipe! But can I use beef instead of chicken? Asking for a friend.
I think chicken is better for this recipe. Beef might dry out. Might experiment though!
You could try beef, but it won’t be the same flavor as chicken. Just saying! 😅
Baked chicken meatballs? Sounds boring. More like baked chicken mushballs! 😂
Simple but good! I think you could also use turkey, right? Thanks for sharing!
Kinda boring if I’m honest. Could use some kick! Maybe sriracha next time?
I was skeptical at first, but these turned out really nice. Not sure if I’d make them again, too many steps for a weeknight meal.
Made these tonight—so good. The sauce thickened perfectly and the meatballs stayed juicy. I added a little extra garlic and served with rice. Definitely repeating.
Yummm! I used turkey instead of chicken and they turned out amazing! The teriyaki sauce was really good too. 10/10
Glad you liked it! Using turkey sounds like a smart twist! 🦃
I don’t know about turkey, sounds kinda weird. Isn’t teriyaki better with chicken?
I don’t have honey so used maple syrup, still tasted yum! Kids devoured them, thanks!
Yum! So easy to make. Perfect for a quick dinner. Definitely a keeper!
I made this last night and it was a hit with my kids! So simple yet delicious. Thanks for sharing!
It looks good, but I don’t think the chicken can be baked like that… I tried baking chicken once, and it dryed out. Hmmm.
These meatballs were a hit at my dinner party! So easy to make and super delicious. Definitely 5 stars!
Simple recipe! My kids loved them. Just watch the baking time, they can get dry if too long. 👍
Glad to hear your kids loved them! Yes, I almost made them dry once too. Thanks for the tip!
Can you substitute the ground chicken for beef? Asking for a friend.
You can probably substitute beef, but it will change the taste a lot! Ground turkey might be a better choice if you’re looking for a lighter option.
Beef? Why would you do that? This is supposed to be chicken meatballs. Just stick to the recipe! 😒
My meatballs fell apart while baking. What did I do wrong?
Maybe ur chicken was too wet. I heard that can make em mushy?
Sounds like you might not have used enough breadcrumbs to bind the meatballs! Try adding a bit more next time.
These meatballs are fantastic! My kids loved them! Definitely making again.
Not impressed. I’ve had better teriyaki meatballs. The sauce felt too runny.
Solid recipe, but I think 15 minutes might be short for larger meatballs. I did closer to 20 and they were perfect. Sauce is a win though—nice balance of sweet and tangy.
So easy to make! I added some pineapple bits to the mix, delicious!
I thought the sauce was too thick. I ended up adding more water. Maybe a 3 for this one.
I totally agree! The sauce can be a bit too thick. I usually add a bit of extra water too to balance it out.
Nah, I think the sauce is perfect as is. Maybe reduce the cooking time a bit? 🤷♂️
