When you need a chocolate fix but don’t want to turn on the oven, no-bake Hershey’s chocolate pie is the answer. Rich, creamy, and packed with classic Hershey’s chocolate flavor, this pie is a dream come true for dessert lovers who want something quick, simple, and totally satisfying.
The beauty of a no-bake dessert lies in its simplicity. With just a few ingredients and minimal effort, you end up with a silky, decadent chocolate pie that tastes like it came from your favorite bakery. The base is usually made with Hershey’s chocolate, melted into a smooth, glossy filling that sets beautifully in the fridge. It’s a flavor that’s both nostalgic and indulgent, perfect for any chocolate lover.
What makes this pie even better is the texture. The filling is light and mousse-like, almost airy, yet rich enough to feel indulgent. It sits in a crisp cookie crust, often made from crushed chocolate cookies or graham crackers, which adds the perfect bit of crunch to balance out the creaminess. A generous topping of whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or even more Hershey’s pieces makes it irresistible from the first bite.
This pie is ideal for summer gatherings, last-minute dinner parties, or any time you want to impress without much effort. It’s also a great make-ahead dessert, since it needs time in the fridge to set. Once chilled, it slices cleanly and holds its shape while still melting in your mouth.
No-bake Hershey’s chocolate pie proves that you don’t need a complicated recipe or fancy ingredients to create a show-stopping dessert. It’s comfort food with a rich chocolate twist, perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or a random Tuesday night when you’re just craving something sweet.

So much chocolate… so little time! This is my new favorite dessert. ❤️
Anyone know if I can use dark chocolate? 🤔 I’m not sure how it would turn out.
Followed the recipe exactly, and it turned out more like a soup than a pie. What did I do wrong? 😩
This pie is sooooo good! Easy to make and tastes amazing! 🍫
I totally agree! This pie is a game changer! I can’t believe how simple it is to make. Definitely a new favorite in our house! 🍰
Looks good, but I wonder if it’s all that easy. Are you sure it’ll set right? Mine usually don’t. 🤔
I thought it would be awesome but I prefer it warm. This cold pie was a little weird for me.
I dunno why people were raving about it. It was just okay, definitly not my thing. 😶
I made this for my family and they loved it. But I think it needed more chocolate! 😅
Was skeptical at first, but wow! This is a hit at parties. Can’t believe it’s no-bake!
I used dark chocolate instead. Was still great! Try it if you want something a bit richer.
Why would you change the recipe? It’s a chocolate pie for a reason. Milk chocolate is better! 😤
That sounds delicious! I love dark chocolate, it must be so rich and satisfying. I’ll have to try that variation!
It was ok, but I felt like it was missing something. Maybe vanilla? Idk. 🤷♀️
I totally get you! I added a little bit of vanilla extract to mine, and it made a big difference! 😋
I dunno, I think it’s really good as is. Maybe you didn’t mix it well enough? 🤔
Looks easy, but do I really need to whip cream? Can’t I just use cool whip?
This is not a real pie if you don’t bake it! It’s just chocolate in a crust!
I gotta disagree, it’s called no-bake for a reason! It still tastes amazing!
Looks delicious, can’t wait to try it, but umm… what’s a graham cracker? 🤔
The recipe said refrigerate for 2 hours, but I left it for 30 mins. Why was it so runny?
Honestly, it was just ok. I’ve had better chocolate pies. The chocolate flavor wasn’t strong enough for me.
I totally disagree! I think the chocolate flavor is rich enough. Just maybe add more chocolate next time?
I thought it was delicious! But I guess every one has their own taste. You could try adding some cocoa powder if you want it stronger.
I found this recipe too sweet for my taste. Maybe less chocolate next time?
I totally get you! The chocolate can be overpowering if you’re not a big fan. Just adjust the amount next time. Happy baking!
Not much of a chocolate fan, but I had to make it for a party. Not bad!
I wasn’t a fan of chocolate pies either until I tried this one! It’s surprisingly light and not too sweet. Perfect for parties!
This pie is absolutely divine! I can’t believe how easy it was to make. 😍
I made this for a party and everyone went back for seconds. The texture is creamy and not too sweet (for me). Easy too.
This is like a cheat for pie! So simple yet so tasty! Will make again.
I tried it but it didn’t set properly. What did I do wrong? 😕
Disappointing, it didn’t set well for me. Just a soupy mess. 🙁
Really? Just mixing chocolate and cream? I hope this is good but sounds too easy.
YUMMM! My kids loved it, they said it was the best pie ever! Thanks! 🍫
This pie is amazing! So easy to make and tastes heavenly! Everyone loved it at the party.
Pie taste like mud! Why people think this good? I don’t understand. 😒
Not everyone has the same taste buds, I guess! I think it’s delicious! 😋
Can you use any other type of chocolate? I only have dark chocolate at home.
I messed up the recipe twice, and I still made it work! It’s not perfect but it was delish!
I tried this and my whipped cream never got stiff peaks—turns out my cream was not cold enough. Lesson learned. If your cream is cold, I bet it would be perfect.
Really good! But I added some nuts on top for crunch, yum!
Uhhh, I forgot the chocolate and just whipped cream… Is that ok?
Perfect dessert for summer! Quick and no baking needed, I love it.
You guys! My pie didn’t look like the picture… what do I do? 😩
Don’t worry! It happens to the best of us. Just try again, maybe let the chocolate cool a bit more next time. 😊
Wasn’t a fan. The chocolate just didn’t blend well with the cream. Didn’t taste right to me.
I think the chocolate and cream go great together! Maybe you didn’t melt the chocolate enough? It has to be smooth! 😊
This is the BEST chocolate pie I have ever made! Super easy and sooo tasty! 5 stars!
This pie is sooo easy and delicious! My kids loved it!
Easy? Really? I once made a pie that took me all day and it still came out bad. Maybe I’ll give this recipe a second thought.
I’m glad your kids loved it! My daughter didn’t like chocolate much, though. Maybe I should try it with peanut butter instead? 🤔
Not bad, but it’s super rich. Like, almost too rich for me. Next time I’d use a bit less chocolate or add a pinch of salt to balance.
No-bake pies always sound suspicious to me—like they’re too good to be true. But this one actually delivered. The whip held up.
Totally get what you mean—no-bake usually *sounds* sketchy, but this one really makes sense. The whipped cream holding its shape is the whole trick, and step 3–4 is where you earn it.
Easy, but I think “cool slightly” is doing a lot of work. I cooled my chocolate too long and it thickened weird, had to re-melt for a sec. Still tasted amazing though.
I dunno, it feels like something is missing. Maybe some nuts? I’m not sure about this recipe.
The instructions were confusing! I wasn’t sure how long to let the chocolate cool. It turned out gooey…
So good 😍
I don’t know why everyone loves this. The pie crust was too sweet and the filling was a mess! 🤷♂️
Is it really no-bake? Can I use dark chocolate instead? Sounds good tho!
Yes, it’s really no-bake! You can definitely use dark chocolate, it’ll taste rich! Enjoy!
I dunno if dark chocolate’s the best for this. Isn’t it supposed to be milk chocolate? Just sayin.
So easy! Amazing. ❤️
Yum! This pie is like heaven on a plate!!
This pie is the best! I made it last week and it was gone in minutes. Definitely my new favorite!
So easy to make but I feel like it’s too rich. 1 slice and I’m done! Ha! Worth a try tho.
I totally get what you mean! It’s super rich, but that’s why it’s so good! Just have some fresh berries on the side to balance it out. 😀
Ok but why does the recipe say “let cool slightly” like I’m supposed to know what that means? I waited 5 minutes and it was fine, but still confusing.
Totally fair question. “Cool slightly” usually means warm but not hot—like you can comfortably hold the spoon/bowl for a few seconds without it steaming. 5 minutes is often enough, especially if your kitchen isn’t blazing.
I always just dump it in right after melting and it still sets for me? Maybe my cream isn’t so picky lol. But yeah, “slightly” is kinda useless wording. Could’ve said like 10 minutes.
I messed it up and used baking chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Yuck! 😩
I mixed up the steps and ended up with a mess! But still came out tasty. 3 stars for my fail.
This turned out way better than I expected. The filling is super rich and the no-bake part is a lifesaver. I chilled it a full 3 hours and it set perfectly.
It was too sweet for me. I thought it would be a bit more balanced. 3 stars.
Pretty good overall, but I think it could use a sprinkle of salt on top for contrast. Just a thought!
I was worried the chocolate wouldn’t mix right, but folding it in after cooling slightly worked like a charm. Next time I might add a tiny pinch of salt to make it pop.
Easiest pie ever! I let it sit overnight and it was a hit at the party! Everyone wanted the recipe.
Delicious recipe! I added some nuts on top and it was even better. Highly recommend!
Nuts on top? That’s a great idea! I never thought of that! Gonna try it!
I can’t eat chocolate. My friend made this for me, and I had to pass. Unfair! 😂
Mmm chocolate pie! This is like my childhood! Can’t wait to make it again and share with my family!
This pie is heavenly! I made it for a party and everyone loved it! 😍
My grandma makes a pie like this, but with cool whip! Is that the same? Probably better.
I made this for my kids and they devoured it! Quick and simple, perfect for a busy mom like me!
I dunno, isn’t it just chocolate and cream? Wouldn’t it be better if it had some fruit or nuts?
That’s awesome! My kids loved it too. It’s so easy and quick.
I don’t understand why you need to cook the chocolate if it’s gonna melt anyhow?! Sounds weird.
Real easy recipe! Just melted choc and whip cream, brought back childhood memories! 😋
Yum! I love that it reminds you of childhood! This is definitely a go-to for me. 🍫❤️
OMG this is the best recipe ever! So chocolaty and rich! I can’t stop eating it!
I don’t know, I tried it and it was kinda too rich for my taste. Maybe I just prefer fruit pies?
I totally agree! This pie is the best! It’s perfect for chocolate lovers like me!
I don’t fully trust no-bake pies. They always seem like they’ll turn into chocolate soup. Mine did almost—until I chilled it longer than 2 hours. Then it finally set.
Pretty good, but my pie didn’t fully set after 2 hours. I think my cream wasn’t cold enough or I over-melted the chocolate. Still tasted great though.
The instructions are fine, but 200 grams feels like an odd measurement for Hershey’s bars. I used 1 bag of chips and it was close, but not exact. Still, it worked.
I was worried the crust would get soggy, but it stayed pretty crisp. I used a store-bought crust like the recipe says and followed the low heat tip—no lumps!
This pie is super easy! I made it for my kids, and they loved it. Will def make again.
So simple! Just 3 ingredients? Wow. I like chocolate. I like pie. Nice!
This came out way better than I expected for something no-bake. The chocolate + whipped cream texture is spot on. Mine set in about 2 hours and the slices were super clean.
Mine tasted a bit bitter? I used dark chocolate instead of milk and maybe that’s my fault. If you follow the chocolate type, I’m sure it’s better.
