Spaghetti Aglio e Olio
Classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes and cook until garlic is golden brown and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat it in the garlic oil. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until spaghetti is warmed through.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley. Season with salt to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
