Skewered Baby Potatoes with Rosemary are a simple yet flavorful side dish that elevates any meal with minimal effort. These bite-sized potatoes are seasoned with aromatic rosemary, garlic, and olive oil, then skewered for easy grilling or roasting. The result is a crispy exterior with a soft, fluffy interior, creating the perfect balance of textures.
To make this dish, start by selecting small baby potatoes, as they cook quickly and have a creamy texture when roasted. Parboil them for a few minutes to ensure they cook evenly on the grill or in the oven. Once they’re tender, thread them onto skewers, alternating with sprigs of fresh rosemary to infuse them with a delicious herby flavor. Drizzle the skewered potatoes with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder for extra seasoning.
If grilling, cook the skewers over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even crisping. For roasting, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. The potatoes should develop a golden-brown crust with a tender inside.
These skewered potatoes are perfect for pairing with grilled meats, fish, or even as a standalone appetizer. The rosemary adds a lovely fragrance and earthy flavor that complements the mild sweetness of the potatoes. You can also experiment with adding other herbs like thyme or oregano, or even a sprinkle of Parmesan for an extra layer of flavor.
Skewered Baby Potatoes with Rosemary are not only a versatile and tasty side dish but also an easy way to add an elegant touch to any meal. Whether grilling outdoors or roasting indoors, these potatoes are a crowd-pleaser that never goes out of style.

Potatoes skewer good haha. Thanks for the recipe!
I followed the recipe but my potatoes took over 30 mins to cook. What did I do wrong?
These potatoes were amazing! So easy and sooo good! 😋
I dunno, sounds kinda plain to me. Potatoes are just potatoes? 🤷♂️
I’m glad you enjoyed them! They really are a perfect side dish for any meal. 😍
I thought baby potatoes were just small normal potatoes. Are they even different? 🤔
Easy and delicious! I didn’t have skewers tho, just put them in a pan and it was still great!
I don’t like rosemary, can I just use parsley instead? Will it work?
Could’ve used more seasoning. I mean, the salt/pepper is vague and mine felt under-seasoned until I added extra at the end.
Totally hear you—“to taste” can be way too vague. I usually salt a little heavier before grilling so it doesn’t taste bland after. Also I add pepper + a quick rosemary rub right at the end. Worked great for me.
Didn’t have rosemary, used thyme instead. Still yum! 😋
Not sure about the skewering—half the potatoes slid when I turned them. Flavor was good, but presentation was messy.
These are sooooo good! I added garlic and it was even better!
Yummy! I added garlic and it made them taste even better. Highly recommend!
Loved it! The rosemary flavor is so good, I can’t believe I never thought of this before!
So simple, yet so good. I made these for my kids and they actually ate their veggies!
Too much fuss for a potato, I just boiled mine instead. 🤷♀️
Boiling is cool, but you miss out on the flavor and crispy bits! These skewers are totally worth it! 😋
Made these on the grill and they turned out perfectly golden. The rosemary really comes through—will definitely do again!
Wait, I thought you needed to boil potatoes first? This seems wrong.
Actually, you don’t need to boil them! This method gives them a nice smoky flavor. Trust me, it’s delicious!
I dunno about that. My grandma always boiled them first. Isn’t that the proper way? 🤔
Is it baby potatoes or baby potatoes? 🤔 Anyway, I tried it and was really tasty!
Simple and tasty. I used a bit more pepper than “to taste” and it was great. Only thing: my potatoes took closer to 25 minutes to get tender.
These babies were a hit at my BBQ! Super easy and delicious.
Super easy to make, perfect for summer BBQs! Will definitely make again.
