Walmart Products Recalled Nationwide

Since March 2025, four food products sold at Walmart have been recalled, according to statements from Walmart and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). As the world’s largest retailer, with nearly 95% of Americans shopping there at least twice a year, per AiTechtonic, Walmart has reiterated its commitment to customer safety. On its website, the company states:

“Walmart and Sam’s Club are committed to the health and safety of our customers and members… In the event of a product recall, we work swiftly to block the item from being sold and remove it from our stores and clubs.”

Here are the four recalls:

1. Baked Beans – Undeclared Soy (May 2, 2025)
Brand: Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans (15 oz.)
Manufacturer: Vietti Food Group, Nashville, TN
Details: 4,515 cases recalled due to undeclared soy, which could trigger serious allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
Action: Do not consume. Return to the place of purchase for a full refund. No illnesses reported.

2. Celery Sticks – Listeria Risk (April 10, 2025)
Brand: Marketside Celery Sticks (4-count, 1.6 oz. packs)
Supplier: Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Oxnard, CA
Issue: Potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, detected during routine testing by Georgia agriculture officials.
UPC: 6 81131 16151 0
Risk: Listeria can cause serious or fatal infections, especially in vulnerable populations.
Action: Do not eat. Discard if frozen. No illnesses reported. FDA has cleared the facility after inspection.

3. Tortilla Chips – Allergen Mislabeling (March 26, 2025)
Brand: Tostitos Cantina Traditional Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips (13 oz.)
Manufacturer: Frito-Lay (a PepsiCo brand)
Details: Some bags may contain nacho cheese-flavored chips, posing a risk due to undeclared milk.

Action: Consumers with milk allergies should not consume. Discard immediately. No reactions reported.

4. Lean Cuisine & STOUFFER’S Meals – Foreign Object Contamination (March 17, 2025)
Manufacturer: Nestlé USA
Issue: Possible contamination with wood-like material. One potential choking incident reported.

  • Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli
  • Lean Cuisine Spinach Artichoke Ravioli
  • Lean Cuisine Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry
  • STOUFFER’S Party Size Chicken Lasagna (96 oz.)
    Production Window: August 2024–March 2025
    Action: Check batch codes on packaging (listed on FDA and Walmart websites). Do not consume. Return for a refund or replacement.
