Jalapeno-Lime Corn on the Cob

July 24, 2025

Grilled Jalapeno-Lime Corn on the Cob is the perfect way to elevate your summer BBQs or outdoor gatherings with a bold, spicy kick. This dish takes the classic corn on the cob and gives it a zesty upgrade with a spicy jalapeño butter and a squeeze of fresh lime, creating an irresistible combination of heat, tang, and sweetness.

The beauty of this dish is how easily it comes together. First, you grill the corn until it’s perfectly charred and tender, bringing out its natural sweetness. While it’s grilling, you prepare a flavorful jalapeño-lime butter. Butter, garlic, finely chopped jalapeños, a bit of lime zest, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice blend together to create a creamy topping that infuses the corn with a delightful, spicy kick. The heat from the jalapeños is balanced out by the coolness of the lime, making each bite full of contrast and flavor.

Once the corn is grilled to perfection, slather the jalapeño-lime butter generously over the ears of corn. For added flavor, sprinkle some chopped cilantro or parsley and a pinch of chili powder on top. This extra layer of flavor gives the corn a touch of freshness and a beautiful pop of color, making it as visually appealing as it is delicious.

Jalapeno-Lime Corn on the Cob is a versatile side that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, tacos, or as a standalone snack. Whether you’re hosting a summer cookout or just craving something new to do with your corn, this dish adds a fun, spicy twist that will have everyone coming back for more.

With the right balance of spicy, tangy, and sweet, Jalapeno-Lime Corn on the Cob is sure to be a crowd-pleasing favorite at your next gathering. It’s simple to make, full of bold flavor, and guaranteed to leave everyone satisfied.

This is the best corn I have ever made! I love grilling and this recipe is a keeper!!

  4. 3 stars
It was good but a bit too spicy for me. I think I’ll skip the jalapeno next time.

Tastes like summer! 🌽🔥 Perfect for our BBQ last weekend. Will be making this again!

I don’t think they know what corn is. Is it not just boiled? This is too fancy.

  7. User avatar Ms. Elizbeth Bode says:

    2 stars
I made it with butter instead of olive oil. Is that okay? Didn’t taste too limey.

  8. User avatar maxwell.bradtke2002 says:

    3 stars
Good idea but not filling enough. I would serve with meat next time.

  9. User avatar Lasandra Ebert says:

    2 stars
I dunno, this seemed kinda bland to me. Maybe needs more spice or somethin?

    1. User avatar Jona Jacobson says:

      5 stars
Nah, this is perfect! It’s meant to be fresh and light, not overpowering. Just enjoy it as is!

    2. User avatar samual.nicolas says:

      4 stars
I totally agree! I feel like it could use a bit more kick. Maybe add some chili powder next time? 🌶️

  10. User avatar gisele.senger says:

    3 stars
I followed the steps exactly. Corn was fine, but the lime juice + zest mixture kind of disappeared and didn’t feel very “drizzly” like the recipe promised.

  11. User avatar Dr. Daphine Stiedemann says:

    3 stars
I had no lime zest so I used extra lime juice. It was still good, but less “zingy” and more sour than expected. Would try again with zest.

  12. User avatar Tricia McMillan says:

    5 stars
Yum! I added some cheese on top, and it took it to a whole new level! Highly recommend!

  13. User avatar Dan Streetmentioner says:

    2 stars
I didn’t really like it. The jalapeno was too spicy for me. I prefer my corn with butter only.

  14. 4 stars
I loved the jalapeño-lime combo, but I wish I’d used a bit less pepper. Still tasty though—just spicier than I expected.

    1. User avatar chas.dubuque46 says:

      4 stars
Mine was also a little too spicy, and I did everything exact. I swear my jalapeño was hotter than yours 😅. Still tasted good though—just wouldn’t mind less pepper next time.

    2. User avatar lowell.langosh55 says:

      5 stars
Totally feel you—jalapeños can go from “mild” to “whoa” real fast depending on the pepper. Next time I’d start with half and add more after tasting the sauce.

  15. 4 stars
I can’t believe I’m grilling corn now! This recipe is so easy, I just used what I had at home.

  16. User avatar yvette.robel67 says:

    3 stars
too many ingredeints!! just need butter and salt!!

  17. 1 star
Too much lime zest… I thought I was putting on a face mask! 😂

    1. User avatar Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz says:

      4 stars
Haha! I guess I overdid it with the lime at first too. But it gives a nice tangy kick if you get it right! 🍋

  18. User avatar modesto.gorczany says:

    5 stars
This was seriously so good—nice char on the corn and the lime-jalapeño combo is like instant summer. Followed the timing and it came out perfectly tender.

  19. User avatar adolfo.beahan1999 says:

    5 stars
Yum! I love corn and this combo is so refreshing! I added some queso on top too. Totally recommend.

  20. User avatar Lance Mertz says:

    5 stars
I don’t get it—jalapeño + lime on corn sounds weird. But wow, it’s actually good. My whole family argued who got the last bite lol.

    1. User avatar annemarie.bergstrom says:

      5 stars
Right?! I was skeptical too—jalapeño + lime sounded like a weird combo. But that tang + heat totally makes the charred corn pop. Also, the “who got the last bite” fight is real 😂

  21. User avatar Benton Mante says:

    4 stars
I was skeptical about putting raw jalapeño on top, but the heat from the corn kind of softens it. Nice balance of spicy + tangy.

    1. User avatar Ma'randru-jo says:

      5 stars
I was on the fence too, but your description makes me want to try it! The lime definitely helps cut through the jalapeño heat.

    2. User avatar kaye.schroeder95 says:

      4 stars
Raw jalapeno on hot corn is kinda risky lol—mine might be too spicy. But if you say it softens, I’ll give it a shot. Maybe I’ll use less jalapeño next time.

  22. 5 stars
This corn is super delicious! I love the spicy kick from the jalapeno. Perfect for summer BBQs!

  23. User avatar agnus.powlowski76 says:

    2 stars
I dunno, I thought the corn was too spicy for my taste. Maybe I’ll skip the jalapeno next time.

  24. User avatar Brand-shei says:

    2 stars
Not bad, but I think it needed a little butter or maybe cotija cheese. Right now it’s more like a spicy-lime corn topping than a full flavor punch.

    1. User avatar warner.kreiger says:

      4 stars
Totally get what you mean—jalapeño-lime is bright, but it can feel a bit “topping-y” instead of rich. I’ve added a small knob of butter after grilling (or a drizzle of mayo) and it becomes way more of a full punch.

    2. User avatar lanny.weber1964 says:

      3 stars
I dunno… cotija on corn is life. But this recipe already has oil + salt, so maybe the lime/heat balance just isn’t for everyone. I’d try adding a little cotija at the end and see.

  25. 5 stars
This was sooo good! The lime and jalapeno made it pop! Will definitely make again!

  26. 4 stars
Not gonna lie, I skipped the lime zest and only used juice. Still good but it felt flat—zest is worth it, people.

    1. User avatar louetta.terry91 says:

      3 stars
I always do just juice cuz I’m lazy 😅 but mine never feel flat, maybe because I grill it longer? Or my jalapeno was stronger. But yeah zest probably helps.

    2. User avatar Margot Fenring says:

      5 stars
Yep! Lime zest is like the “extra pop” that makes it taste fresh instead of just sour. Good call adjusting, though—still sounds tasty.

  27. 3 stars
Grilled corn is way better with some cheese on it. This recipe could use a little more flavor, maybe parmesan next time?

  28. User avatar Freida Convict says:

    4 stars
Yum! I love it! Took me back to summer barbecues. Simple and fresh flavors.

    1. User avatar alisia.halvorson2011 says:

      3 stars
It sounds good, but jalapenos are too spicy for me. Can I skip them?

    2. 5 stars
Totally agree! This is the best way to enjoy corn. I can’t wait to try it at my next BBQ!

  29. User avatar theodore.hegmann says:

    2 stars
I tried this recipe thinking it would be easy, but I messed up the grilling. The corn got burnt ;( Not sure if I should try again.

  30. User avatar Peregrin Took says:

    3 stars
Corn on cob?? Its just corn. Nothing special here. 3 stars is enough.

  31. User avatar morris.corkery1980 says:

    4 stars
My kids nvr eat corn but they loved this! I will tell all my friends about it!

  32. 5 stars
This is crunchy n spicy! I’m inlove with this! 🔥🥳

  33. User avatar roma.weimann5 says:

    1 star
Honestly, why put jalapenos in corn? Corn is sweet, spicy just makes it weird.

  34. User avatar sanjuana.sipes24 says:

    5 stars
This sounds dangerously good—grilled corn + jalapeño-lime is such a bright combo. The zested lime is a nice touch.

  35. 3 stars
I’m skeptical—grilling corn then adding raw jalapeño seems like it’ll be too harsh? But honestly it worked. Still, I’d wear gloves next time lol.

    1. User avatar Billie Kiehn III says:

      2 stars
Wait… raw jalapeño over hot corn? That seems like it would burn the mouth, not “work.” Maybe it’s the lime juice that mellows it? Idk I’d’ve cooked the pepper first.

    2. 5 stars
Honestly, I was the same—raw jalapeño usually screams “too much.” But that lime + zest kind of knocks the edge off. I’ll try gloves next time too 😅

  36. User avatar liberal.hero says:

    3 stars
Where do u get lime juice from? Do I just squeeze it? 🤔

  37. 5 stars
This corn was amazing! The jalapeno gave it just the right kick. Will definitely make again!

  38. 1 star
I’m not sure this is a good idea. Corn and jalapenos? Sounds weird! But to each their own I guess.

    1. User avatar dawn.langworth says:

      5 stars
I actually tried this recipe and it was amazing! The jalapenos really give it a kick! You should give it a shot!

  39. User avatar Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings says:

    4 stars
Didn’t have jalapeno, so I used bell pepper instead… still turned out good! Just saying you can mix it up.

  40. User avatar byron.keebler says:

    2 stars
Wait… do you put the jalapeño-lime mixture on before grilling or after? I did after like the instructions but I’m wondering if before would be better.

    1. User avatar marlo.keeling says:

      5 stars
I always do it after like the recipe says—jalapeño + lime can burn a bit and go bitter if you grill it directly. Drizzle at the end and it stays bright.

  41. 3 stars
Doesn’t corn taste better boiled? I feel like grilling it is just for show. 😒

  42. User avatar Max Quordlepleen says:

    5 stars
Made this for dinner last night—super fresh and the lime really wakes up the corn. Char was perfect after 12 minutes. Will definitely do again!

  43. User avatar omar.krajcik84 says:

    5 stars
Tried this last night—wow. The jalapeño + lime combo really wakes up the corn, and the char actually helps. 10–15 minutes was perfect for mine.

  44. User avatar chance.cummings says:

    5 stars
Tried this last night—so good. The lime zest really wakes everything up, and the jalapeño isn’t overpowering if you dice it small.

  45. User avatar otto.rippin49 says:

    3 stars
Grilled corn is always good, but do I really need the jalapeno? Too much heat!

    1. 5 stars
I think the jalapeno brings out the flavor, but if you want it less spicy, you can remove the seeds and inner part. But why not just try it first? You might love it!

    2. User avatar Arwen Evenstar says:

      4 stars
You can always skip the jalapeno if you don’t like heat! Just add more lime instead, it’ll still be tasty.

  46. User avatar grady.conroy24 says:

    5 stars
5 stars because it’s easy and tastes like summer. My kids even went back for seconds.

  47. User avatar basementDweller says:

    4 stars
5/5 honestly. Also, corn takes like 30 minutes on the grill right? I did 10-15 and it was perfect so idk what I was doing before.

  48. User avatar barrie.kulas44 says:

    4 stars
    Kinda good. Limey.

    1. User avatar elsa.damore42 says:

      4 stars
Thanks! The lime + jalapeño combo really does pop on grilled corn. 😄

    2. User avatar halflife4 says:

      3 stars
Limey? lol I get it. I usually use more jalapeño though—like, extra seeds if I’m feeling brave. Still sounds pretty solid.

  49. 3 stars
I didn’t have fresh limes, so I used bottled juice and skip the zest. Still tasty, just not as bright. Would make again with real limes.

    1. User avatar jude.weber says:

      5 stars
Glad it still worked! I agree bottled juice is usually less punchy—fresh lime zest makes a big difference for that brightness.

  50. User avatar Loonquawl and Phouchg says:

    5 stars
This is one of those recipes that’s simple but feels restaurant-y. The lime zest is the secret. I used a mild jalapeño and it still hit.

  51. 3 stars
The instructions are simple, but 1 jalapeño could be a lot depending on the heat. Mine was kinda wild—my lips were like 😅

  52. User avatar robbin.howe45 says:

    2 stars
Only 1 jalapeno? Tastes kinda mild. I think you need more unless you’re trying to feed kids.

  53. User avatar humberto.weber18 says:

    4 stars
I don’t get why people love corn that much, but… this was actually tasty. The salt and pepper help. I’d do it again.

  54. 2 stars
Honestly I don’t get why people put peppers on corn. Corn’s sweet, you gotta let it be. This feels like overcomplicating.

  55. User avatar lashawn.abshire says:

    5 stars
Loved this recipe! The freshness from the lime really makes it pop. Will make again for sure!

    1. 5 stars
I totally agree! The lime flavor is just awesome. Makes everything taste fresher!

    2. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

      2 stars
Sounds good, but I dunno about lime on corn. Isn’t that kinda weird? Just corn with butter works fine for me.

  56. User avatar avery.wolf2011 says:

    4 stars
Simple and tasty. I was nervous the jalapeño would be overpowering, but it balanced out with the lime zest. Next time I might add a pinch of chili powder too.

  57. 3 stars
Jalapeno lime corn? Sounds fancy but just grill em, right? 🤷‍♂️

  58. User avatar danial.connelly72 says:

    5 stars
This was sooo good! The lime really adds a zing, and the jalapeno is just perfect. Thank you for sharing! 🌽

  59. User avatar Eula Prosacco says:

    4 stars
Not sure about the step where you drizzle the jalapeño mix—mine kind of ran off the kernels. Next time I’ll brush it on more thickly.

  60. User avatar Debrah Corkery I says:

    3 stars
I grilled it and the jalapeño-lime sauce dried out a bit. Maybe I should’ve brushed it on earlier instead of drizzling after?

  61. User avatar Robert Hane DVM says:

    5 stars
5 stars! It’s summer on a stick! Sweet corn and spicy jalapenos, yes please!

  62. User avatar rich.landlord says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but I found the jalapeño-lime topping a little too sharp. Maybe reduce lime juice or add a touch of butter? Still ate it all.

  63. 2 stars
Corn is corn… but lime on top? idk. It tasted kinda sharp and I didn’t feel the hype. Maybe I don’t like jalapeño like that.

  64. 2 stars
Honestly, I don’t get what the big deal is. It’s just corn with some stuff. My kids didn’t even eat it.

  65. User avatar kristine.roberts1994 says:

    2 stars
Am I the only one who thinks lime zest tastes like soap? I had to scrape most of it off. Corn was fine otherwise.

  66. User avatar Lunkwill and Fook says:

    5 stars
I followed the instructions exactly and it came out perfectly! So flavorful!

  67. User avatar miguel.blick99 says:

    2 stars
Why grill when you can boil? Corn is gonna lose sweetness. Also jalapeño raw might be too punchy. Still, the lime idea is good.

    1. User avatar cody.cole says:

      3 stars
Why is jalapeño going ON TOP raw?? I feel like it’ll be way too spicy and kinda harsh. Maybe roast the jalapeño or mix it after you cook? Still—lime zest is 🔥.

    2. User avatar ALTplusF4 says:

      4 stars
Boiling definitely keeps it sweet though—grilling can dry it out if you overdo it. But that lime + jalapeño combo sounds like it would balance the char really well. I’ll try grilling on medium and rotate a lot like you said.

  68. 4 stars
Good flavor, but mine got a little too charred at 15 minutes. Next time I’ll start checking earlier and rotate more often.

    1. User avatar laine.herzog33 says:

      5 stars
Yeah, that happens with medium-high—corn can go from “just charred” to “burnt” fast. I’d start checking at ~8-10 min and rotate every 2-3 min. Also, maybe keep a little space between cobs so the heat isn’t blasting one spot.

  69. User avatar neil.schuppe9 says:

    3 stars
My grill was hotter than medium-high, so it charred fast. Still edible, but it was more burnt than charred. Recipe is fine though—my timing was off.

    1. User avatar Great Fairy says:

      4 stars
Hmm “charred fast” is usually user error with the heat, not the recipe, but yeah—10-15 min on a super hot grill can burn. Next time try lower heat or wrap in foil for a bit then finish uncovered. Corn’s pretty forgiving.

    2. 5 stars
Yeah that’ll do it—if it was running hotter than medium-high it’ll go from “slightly charred” to “burnt” real quick. I usually start checking around 10 minutes and rotate more often. Glad it was still edible though!

  70. User avatar lino.okuneva88 says:

    5 stars
Super easy and fast. I did 8 minutes only and it was perfect, so your timing might vary. Great summer snack!

  71. User avatar romana.kovacek says:

    5 stars
    Easy and yum! Five stars.

  72. 2 stars
Corn + lime is a no-brainer but the grilling time feels random to me. Mine took like 25 minutes. Maybe my grill runs cold?

  73. 4 stars
Not sure about the jalapeño amount. I used a smaller pepper and it was spicy; next time I’ll use half or remove the seeds. Flavor is still great.

  74. 3 stars
Grilled for 15 minutes and it ended up slightly too charred on the outside. Next time I’ll rotate more and pull it earlier. Sauce is great.

  75. User avatar shane.hodkiewicz says:

    3 stars
I followed it exactly but my jalapeño flavor got lost. Maybe I chopped it too big? Still tasted good, just not punchy enough for me.

  76. User avatar enda.denesik8 says:

    5 stars
Tried this tonight—so good! The lime zest really wakes up the corn, and the jalapeño gives it a nice kick without being overpowering.

  77. User avatar tiesha.kling87 says:

    2 stars
Jalapenos? Really? That sounds like a weird combo with corn. Idk about this one.

  78. User avatar gabriel.okon says:

    3 stars
Not sure about grilling corn without butter… olive oil is fine, but I felt like it needed a richer finish. Flavor was decent with the jalapeño-lime.

    1. User avatar saturnina.quigley32 says:

      5 stars
I totally get that—olive oil is great, but it can feel a little “light” compared to butter. I’ve started adding a little butter (or even a splash of mayo) right after grilling while it’s still hot, and the jalapeño-lime really pops. Did you let the lime sauce soak in for a minute or just drizzle right away?

  79. 4 stars
This is pretty good, like street corn but less messy. I used canned jalapeños once and it worked, which surprised me (still salty though).

    1. 5 stars
I’m glad you said that—street corn vibes are exactly what I was going for. Love that canned jalapeños worked for you too!

    2. User avatar shannon.ankunding says:

      3 stars
Hmm I dunno… canned jalapeños can be super salty, so I guess that tracks. Next time you could rinse them or use less salt in the mix?

  80. 3 stars
The corn turned out way too spicy for me. I think I put too much jalapeno. Next time, I might skip it or add less.

  81. User avatar lynette.skiles23 says:

    5 stars
This is going in my summer rotation. I love recipes that don’t require fancy stuff. The lime zest really makes it taste fresh, not just sour.

  82. User avatar Gail Andrews says:

    5 stars
This recipe slaps! So simple, yet heaven in my mouth! I can’t wait for my next BBQ to make this again!

  83. User avatar bailey.nikolaus27 says:

    3 stars
Kinda bland for me at first, then I realized I didn’t mix enough of the jalapeño-lime sauce over every kernel. After I drizzled more, it was great.

  84. User avatar alfred.monahan says:

    5 stars
Made this last night—so bright and zippy. The lime zest really makes it pop, and the char on the corn is perfect. 10/10 for cookout vibes!

    1. User avatar Ms. Lisandra Flatley says:

      5 stars
Yes!! The lime zest is the secret for sure—makes it taste super fresh. I’m stealing this char + drizzle combo for our next cookout.

  85. 1 star
What if I don’t have a grill? Can I just boil the corn? 🤔

I followed it mostly. I’m pretty sure I chopped the jalapeño too big chunks though, because I got a couple bites that were spicy-spicy. Still ate it all. 😅

This is surprisingly restaurant-y. The drizzle clings really well and the char + citrus is chef’s kiss.

Wasn’t expecting much, but wow! The flavors were explosive! I added some cheese on top too. Yum!

I was skeptical about grilling without soaking the corn, but it worked! I did rotate more often to avoid burning. The lime zest really makes it pop.

Pretty simple and honestly tastes like summer. I grilled a little longer (more like 18 min) because my corn was thick, but no regrets.

  91. 4 stars
Pretty tasty! I used a half jalapeño because I’m not trying to suffer, and the lime zest really made it pop. Will make again.

Meh. The instructions are clear, but mine tasted kinda bland until I added extra lime and salt. Maybe my jalapeños were weak.

It turned out okay, but my corn got a bit too charred on the edges. Also I only had bottled lime juice, not fresh—still good though.

      3 stars
Hmm bottled lime juice usually is a little harsher, but your outcome sounds decent. I always char mine on purpose—if it’s too black I scrape it off 😅 Also jalapeño-lime is a weird combo but kinda works.

Good to hear it was still tasty! Char happens—next time I’d keep the grill closer to medium and rotate more often. Even 1-2 extra minutes can push it from “slightly charred” to “too far.”

This is good but 10-15 minutes is too long on my grill—corn burned before it got tender. I’d cut it to like 6-8 minutes and watch closely.

    1. User avatar jennifer.strosin says:

      5 stars
Totally get it—mine took less time on a hotter grill too. I’d say start checking around 6-8 minutes and rotate constantly so it chars without drying out.

This is dangerous lol. I added extra lime zest and two jalapeños and now I’m obsessed. Great side dish for basically anything grilled.

  96. User avatar leanora.rosenbaum59 says:

Got distracted grilling and mine went a touch past tender—still edible though. The lime juice was super punchy, like almost too much, so maybe 3/4 of it next time.

    1. 3 stars
I don’t get it—if the lime was too much, why not add more corn? 😅 Also jalapeño on corn seems wild… but I guess it works? Would’ve liked a little butter option or something.

    2. User avatar orville.howell says:

      5 stars
Totally feel you on getting sidetracked—corn goes from perfect to overdone fast on a grill. Your 10–15 min note is key. I’d say next time just start checking a couple minutes earlier, and reducing the lime to 3/4 makes sense if it hits “too punchy” for you.

These flavors are so bright—jalapeño + lime on grilled corn is such a good combo. Mine charred a bit more than expected but it still tasted amazing.

    1. User avatar farah.jenkins says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—jalapeño + lime makes the corn taste way more “alive.” I’ve definitely had the same issue with getting a little too charred, but I just rotate more often and pull it closer to 10 minutes. Still delicious though!

Not bad. But honestly I think it needs butter or something to round it out. Olive oil alone felt a little light.

  99. User avatar darwin.dickens says:

I followed it mostly, but I think 10-15 minutes was a little long for my grill—corn got drier. Flavor is great though.

The ingredient list is simple but I think 1 jalapeño is way too much for regular people. Still, it was good—just had me sweating.

Only 10-15 minutes? That seems short. Mine was still a bit crunchy after. Maybe my corn was older. Otherwise, nice flavor—would make again with fresher corn.

  102. User avatar amee.boyer1988 says:

Pretty tasty, but I think 10 minutes was a bit short for my grill. I ended up closer to 15-18 and it charred more evenly. Sauce mix is legit though.

  103. User avatar raymond.oberbrunner says:

Not gonna lie, 10-15 minutes seems short for me. Mine takes longer to get that char, but the flavor mix is legit.

    1. 5 stars
Yeah I get that—10-15 mins depends a lot on the corn and how hot your grill runs. I usually go by “tender + some char” too, so if yours needs longer it makes sense. Glad the jalapeno-lime combo is hitting!

  104. User avatar Justin Block says:

Couldn’t find fresh lime zest, so I used bottled juice only. Still good, but it definitely lacked that punchy citrus aroma.

  105. User avatar ilona.schiller says:

Loved this—grilling the corn plus that jalapeño-lime drizzle is such a good combo. Mine charred a bit more than expected but it was still sweet and juicy.

    1. User avatar lyle.donnelly1962 says:

      5 stars
So glad you liked it! A little extra char is honestly the best part with corn—glad yours stayed sweet and juicy. Next time, maybe rotate a bit more often or start slightly lower heat if you’re aiming for less color.

I made it with two jalapeños instead of one… it was a mistake 😅 but still super tasty. Next time I’ll follow the recipe.

    1. User avatar Frankie and Benjy says:

Two jalapeños?! 😂 I love the chaos. Glad it still came out tasty—next time you’ll just dial it in perfectly!

    2. User avatar kent.stanton2025 says:

Mistake or not, that sounds like a spicy upgrade. I might try it your way with one extra next time… just a tiny bit 😅

  107. User avatar denny.stamm35 says:

Why grill corn if you can just boil it? This felt like extra work for not much payoff. The flavor was okay but I was expecting more smokiness.

  108. 4 stars
I like spicy, so I doubled the jalapeño and it was great. Next time I’ll start checking at 9 minutes though, mine charred a bit fast on my grill.

    1. 5 stars
Love that you doubled the jalapeño—those char + lime + heat combos are the best. Also good call on starting at ~9 min; every grill runs a little hot.

  109. User avatar mahalia.rutherford says:

Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about pouring the jalapeño-lime mix on hot corn, but it soaked in nicely. Next time I’ll add a little butter too.

  110. 4 stars
Spicy, tangy, and super simple. I used a smaller jalapeño and it was still flavorful. Next time I’ll add a little butter or cotija though.
