Not sure if I did something wrong, but mine turned out really dry. Used the same ingredients!
I don’t know, this seems too simple. Where’s the flavor? I might try adding some peppers next time.
Yum! This cornbread casserole is a hit at every family gathering! Everyone loves it.
Didnt even get to try it, my husband ate the whole thing in one sitting!
I don’t get it. Why would you mix all this stuff? Seems weird and too many flavors.
I followed the recipe exactly but it came out too spicy for my taste. Next time I will skip the chili.
Maybe try using less chili next time? I find it helps with the heat!
Idk, it was kinda bland for my taste. I expected more flavor. Maybe I did something wrong?
So easy to make, even for a beginner like me. It’s like comfort food in a dish! 🙂
I’m so glad to hear you found it easy! I made it last week for my family, and they loved it too! 🙂
My kids loved it! They even asked for seconds, which is rare! Great recipe!
That’s awesome! Kids can be picky, so it’s great to hear they loved it! 🥳
Wow, so good! But it was a little too spicy for the kids. Next time I’ll use mild.
add some jalapeños next time!💥
Is this really a Texas dish? Seems more like a chili casserole. I prefer my cornbread plain.
I was skeptical at first, but this dish turned out to be a hit at our potluck! Thanks for sharing.
I think cornbread with chili is the best combination! Love! 😍
I thought cornbread was sweet! Why is this savory? Confused…
Why are there beans in this? Shouldn’t real Texan cuisine be bean-free?
Made this for a potluck and it was a hit! My uncle went back for seconds.
I don’t know, ranch style beans and chili together sounds weird. Is it really that good?
Sounds delicious! I love how easy it is to make. Definitely gonna try this next time!
Nope! Didn’t like it. The corn bread mix was all wrong or something.
I love chili but this was too much for me. I think y’all put too many beans and chili in it. Can you even taste the beef?
Not my fav, but my kids loved it. Maybe I’m too picky… idk. Just felt kinda bland.
I thought it was really good! Maybe try adding some spices next time?
My kids devoured it! Next time, I’m adding cheese on top. Yum!
Can I substitute the wolf brand chili for something else? Never heard of it!
Just used regular tomatoes instead of Rotel and it worked just fine! Still delicious!
Glad it turned out well for you! I think any type of tomato works, really. Cooking is all about being creative!
Delicious! Just the right amount of spice. I added some cheese on top and it was perfect!
Cheese sounds like a great idea! I’m gonna try that next time. Glad you liked it!
I tried it with jalapeños, and it was way too spicy for me! But I guess everyone’s taste is different.
Just yuck. The mix of flavors didn’t work for me.
This casserole is AMAZING! I love the kick from the chili, definitely a keeper!
I tried this recipe last week and it was super good! The chili really adds flavor, even my kids loved it!
Made it for a potluck and it disappeared! Everybody loved it. Will definitely make again.
You didn’t mention what size the can of chili should be. Hope mine’s not too much.
I was skeptical at first, but I gave it a shot. It turned out…okay. Not bad, but I’ve had better.
Best ever! Even my picky brother liked it. Thanks!
I made this for dinner and it was a hit with the whole family! Thanks!
That’s awesome! I love when recipes bring the family together! Any tips for making it even better?
Looks good. I’ll try this but I ain’t keen on the spicy part, so no Rotel for me.
You could always just use regular tomatoes instead of Rotel! I’m not a fan of spicy either, so I totally get it.
Why would u wanna ruin a good recipe by taking out the Rotel? Just try a little bit, you might like it!
Not a fan of this dish. Too spicy for my kids. I won’t make it again.
I hear ya! It can be too much sometimes. Maybe try reducing the chili next time?
Very good! Next time I’ll add more veggies to the mix.
This casserole is AMAZING! My family loved it, especially the little kick from the Rotel tomatoes. Will definitely make again!
I don’t know about this one. Beans and chili? That’s a lot of flavors. Not sure if my family will like it.
This looks amazing! Can’t wait to try it out. Do you think it would work with turkey instead of beef?
Easy to make, but my cornbread came out weird. Maybe I did something wrong?
Yummy! But I feel like it’s too much beef. Maybe chicken next time?
I think the beef is perfect! It gives it a hearty flavor. Chicken wouldn’t be the same!
Yeah, I guess chicken could work, but it’s a casserole! It’s all about the beef, right?
This recipe is too easy! Worried it won’t taste good but wow did it surprise me!
a little too spicy 4 me, shoulda used mild chili. recipe ok other than that.
Yeah, I can see that! Maybe next time you can add some sour cream to cool it down a bit. Overall, it’s a great recipe!
This looks delicious! Can’t wait to try it. My family’s gonna love it!
Looks good, but isn’t cornbread mix just too easy? Maybe try making it from scratch next time?
I’m sure your family will devour it! It’s a hit for sure.
Cornbread mix? Y’all ain’t making it from scratch? Disappointed.
Sounds easy, but I don’t really like ranch beans… What’s a good substitute?
You could use black beans or pinto beans instead! They’d work well in this recipe.
Just leave out the ranch beans, it won’t be the same but might be okay?
Why do you even cook beef? Just use turkey! Healthier and tastes better! 🙄
I think cornbread should be on the side, not in the dish. Just saying.
I totally get where you’re coming from! Cornbread definitely tastes better as a side. It’s like the star should stand alone!
So simple and filling! Just what I need when I’m tired after work.
Tried this and it was too spicy for my kids. Gonna tone it down next time.
I totally understand! You could try using less chili or a milder brand next time. My kids handled it okay, but every fam’s different!
This is the best comfort food! My kids devoured it.
I dunno, seems like too much meat for me. Might skip the beef!
Is this even healthy? Seems like a lot of processed stuff?
This is easy and so good! My kids love it!
Cornbread on top is just genius. Totally will make this again!
This was delish! Super easy to make and perfect for a family dinner.
Quick and easy to put together! I added some cheddar on top and it was delicious. Will make again!
Meh, I didn’t find it that great. Kinda bland for my taste. Plus, I don’t get how cornbread goes with chili.
That sounds so good! I love adding cheese to everything, gotta try it. Thanks for sharing!
My husband loved it, but I found it too spicy. Need to tone it down.
Easy to make and feeds a crowd. Wouldn’t change a thing. Yum!
I made it with turkey meat instead, still turned out good! Great recipe!
This recipe is a total winner! My family devoured it and asked for seconds. The spices were just right.
I’m glad to hear you liked it! I’ve tried similar recipes and they were a hit with my family too. It’s so comforting!
I dunno, it just didn’t taste like real chili to me. Too much corn, not enough spice.
cornbread yum!
Super simple recipe, I loved how quick it was!
Casserole is too mushy, I love crunchy things! 🤷♂️
