Dragon Fruit and Kiwi Salad

January 15, 2026

Looking for a fresh, colorful salad that feels like a tropical vacation in a bowl? The Dragon Fruit and Kiwi Salad is a vibrant and hydrating dish that’s perfect for summer brunches, light lunches, or as a stunning side at your next gathering. It’s packed with juicy fruits, natural sweetness, and a touch of tang, all without any added sugar or fuss.

The star of this salad is dragon fruit, also known as pitaya. Its mildly sweet flavor and striking pink or white flesh dotted with tiny black seeds make it a showstopper. When paired with tangy, juicy kiwi slices, the combination becomes both visually striking and refreshing to the palate. These two fruits balance each other beautifully: the dragon fruit is soft and mellow, while the kiwi adds a punchy brightness.

To add more texture and flavor, you can include other tropical ingredients like mango chunks, pineapple bits, or pomegranate seeds. A drizzle of lime juice and a few torn mint leaves take this salad from good to unforgettable. The lime enhances the fruit’s natural sweetness while the mint adds a cooling finish, perfect for warm days.

This salad is also a nutritional powerhouse. Dragon fruit is rich in antioxidants, fiber, and vitamin C, while kiwi offers vitamin K, potassium, and a boost to your immune system. The natural hydration from these fruits makes this dish great for summer or post-workout refueling.

Best of all, it’s incredibly easy to make. Simply slice the dragon fruit and kiwi, mix gently with your choice of other fruits, squeeze over fresh lime juice, toss in some mint, and serve chilled.

Dragon fruit and kiwi salad pairs beautifully with light, citrus based cocktails like a virgin mojito or gin and tonic, as the fresh flavors enhance the tropical sweetness of the fruit.

Whether you’re making it for a brunch spread, packing it for a picnic, or enjoying a light snack, the Dragon Fruit and Kiwi Salad delivers flavor, color, and nourishment in every bite.

Is it really worth it to buy dragon fruit? They’re kinda expensive and don’t taste like much. Just my opinion.

    1. 2 stars
Eh, they taste kinda bland to me. I wouldn’t spend so much on them, but if you like the look, go for it.

Isn’t dragon fruit supposed to be purple? Mine was white… confused.

    1. User avatar shirely.terry1993 says:

      4 stars
Actually, dragon fruit can be white or purple, depending on the variety. You might have picked a white one!

Salad?! I thought this was a smoothie recipe! 🤷‍♂️

  19. User avatar elliot.kerluke says:

Looks fancy but way too much effort for a salad. I just chop my fruits without the dressing. 😅 ⭐⭐⭐

  20. User avatar gerald.terry62 says:

I don’t like dragon fruit, thought it was gonna taste like dragons. Anyway, my kids loved it so 4 stars for them! 🐉❤️

  21. 5 stars
This salad is so refreshing! I love the sweetness of the dragon fruit combined with the tartness of the kiwi. Definitely a keeper! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  22. 3 stars
Don’t you think honey and lime is too sweet? 🤔 I might try it with just lime next time. But the fruits are yum!

  23. 2 stars
I made this and it was okay… but idk, felt like something was missing. Maybe a bit of salt? 🌊

  24. User avatar ArabianNights says:

    3 stars
Dragon fruit is kind of pricey where I live, so I’m not sure it’s worth it for a salad. But the color is beautiful and the dressing sounds legit.

    1. User avatar gino.keebler says:

      4 stars
Yeah, I get that—dragon fruit can be super pricey. But if you’re doing a “worth it” situation, this salad’s more about the vibe/texture than the calories. I think the honey + lime keeps it from tasting bland, so even a small amount could work.

  25. User avatar melvin.rogahn95 says:

    4 stars
Easy and tasty. I didn’t have fresh mint so I used dried—still worked okay, but fresh would be way better. Also I added a splash more lime because I like it tangy.

    1. User avatar camellia.hintz says:

      3 stars
I made this but didn’t have honey, so I used sugar and it turned out… kinda weird? Still tasty, though. Also I think 1 tbsp lime juice was not enough for me, I added more like you.

    2. User avatar lanelle.weber says:

      5 stars
Nice! I’ve tried dried mint before too, but I agree—fresh really makes it pop. Love the extra lime idea; tangy always wins with fruit salads.

  26. 5 stars
Omg this tastes like summer. I used lime from a bottle cause I’m lazy, and it still worked. Will make again for sure.

    1. User avatar minh.swaniawski3 says:

      5 stars
Right? The flavor is so fresh and bright—love that you still used bottled lime and it worked out. 🍃 I’ll have to try this chilled again soon!

  27. 5 stars
OMG, I can’t believe how pretty this looks! Definitely gonna make this for my brunch. 🌈

  28. User avatar Gurney Halleck says:

    3 stars
meh… salad. not bad but mint is like toothpaste smell if you use too much lol. also i think lime juice should be more??

  29. User avatar charles.pacocha34 says:

    3 stars
This is cute, but kiwi can be kinda tricky—mine got mushy fast. Still tasty though, just don’t leave it sitting too long.

    1. User avatar markus.ryan25 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—kiwi goes mushy on me too if I prep ahead. I usually dice it right before serving and toss gently. Still super tasty though!

  30. User avatar christi.okeefe14 says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but I expected more zing. Lime juice felt a bit mild with only 1 tbsp honey. Next time I’ll add a bit more lime or even a pinch of salt.

    1. User avatar Falmer Spellsword says:

      3 stars
Hmm I actually like it mild? The mint helps cool it down and the honey makes it not so sour. But yeah maybe a little extra lime if you want more “zing”. Also is 1 tbsp honey like… too much? lol

    2. User avatar newton.schowalter17 says:

      5 stars
Totally get what you mean—dragon fruit and kiwi are already sweet/tart, so 1 tbsp honey can blunt the lime a bit. I’ve started adding a pinch of salt too and it really wakes everything up. Great call!

  31. 5 stars
This looks so fresh and colorful! The honey + lime combo sounds perfect for cutting the fruit’s sweetness. I’d definitely garnish extra mint.

  32. User avatar hunter.torp says:

    5 stars
Made this for a picnic, and everyone loved it! So easy to prepare.

    1. User avatar lester.hettinger says:

      5 stars
This sounds amazing! I love how simple it is, perfect for hot days.

  33. User avatar rich.landlord says:

    2 stars
I tried it and honestly it came out kinda watery. I think the kiwi juice overpowered everything. Also my mint turned black fast, so presentation wasn’t cute.

    1. User avatar eusebia.yost says:

      4 stars
Mine was the opposite—mine tasted super tart but not watery 🤷‍♀️ Maybe your kiwis were extra juicy? Also black mint sounds like it hit the lime too long. I just sprinkle mint last last minute. (Sorry, I’m not a pro.)

    2. 4 stars
Ahh sorry it got watery! With kiwi especially, it can release a lot of juice after sitting. Next time I’d chill the dressing separately and toss right before serving, and maybe use less honey/lime so it doesn’t feel “washed out.” Also fresh mint sometimes browns/blackens if it sits in acidic lime—try adding mint at the very end.

  34. User avatar lakenya.spencer1952 says:

    2 stars
Why do you need to peel them? I just ate it whole! 🌍

  35. User avatar salena.boehm97 says:

    5 stars
This is such a fresh, pretty salad. The honey-lime combo really makes the dragon fruit pop, and the mint is a nice finishing touch. Would definitely make again for brunch!

  36. 4 stars
I did exactly this but my honey-lime sauce got kinda thick? Maybe I whisked too slowly. Tasted fine, just didn’t look as glossy. Would make again.

  37. 3 stars
Call me picky, but I’m not sure it’s a “salad” so much as fruit with dressing. Still tasty though—5/10 on health food vibes, 8/10 on flavor.

  38. User avatar geraldo.lindgren says:

    2 stars
Honestly, dragon fruit is expensive where I live. If you can get it cheap, do it. Otherwise kiwi-only versions are cheaper and pretty similar.

  39. 3 stars
Mint leaves? Who has those at home? Just use whatever you got!

  40. 3 stars
My dragon fruit was way underripe (I picked it wrong), so it was more watery than sweet. Still tasted good with the dressing though. Next time I’ll buy better fruit!

  41. User avatar shirly.walter55 says:

    3 stars
Why honey? Can’t I just use agave or even skip the sweet part? The fruit is already sweet enough for me.

  42. User avatar gonzalo.towne2024 says:

    4 stars
Pretty good, but my dressing came out a little too sharp with the lime. Next time I’ll use less lime juice or add a tiny bit more honey.

    1. User avatar al.ondricka54 says:

      3 stars
Wait, too sharp from lime? I’d just use more lime 😂. Or maybe kiwi is already acidic so it all adds up. Next time try less lime juice like you said, because honey’s supposed to balance it.

    2. User avatar patria.yost49 says:

      5 stars
Yeah, lime can be super punchy—your idea to cut back a little makes total sense. I usually start with 1/2 the lime juice and adjust from there. Love that you’re sweetening it with more honey too!

  43. 3 stars
Honestly, it tastes like fancy fruit. Not bad, just… very simple. I wanted more texture, so next time I might add some toasted nuts or coconut.

  44. 2 stars
Looks healthy, but I don’t get why honey needs to be added. Lime already has that tang. Would probably be better with no honey or a different sweetener.

  45. User avatar solange.crooks51 says:

    4 stars
My kiwi was super tart, so I added like another teaspoon of honey. Still turned out yummy—just taste as you go.

  46. User avatar crysta.schmeler72 says:

    3 stars
Mine turned kinda brown-ish after chilling for a while. I think I let it sit too long before serving. Still tasted good, just not as pretty.

  47. User avatar basementDweller says:

    3 stars
The amounts are weirdly small. “2 dragon fruit” depends on size, and mine was tiny—could’ve used more fruit for the dressing. Taste was okay though.

  48. 1 star
What even is dragon fruit? Can you just use apples instead? 🤔

    1. 2 stars
Why not just stick with apples? They’re easier to find and still taste good! 🤷‍♂️

    2. User avatar Lonnie Oberbrunner says:

      4 stars
Dragon fruit is super unique! It has a sweet and mildly tangy taste. Apples might not cut it for this recipe.

  49. User avatar Lunkwill and Fook says:

    1 star
meh. Tastes fine but nothing special.

    1. User avatar gregg.boehm45 says:

      3 stars
I get what you mean—it’s refreshing, but pretty simple. The honey-lime combo makes it pop though. Next time I might add a pinch of salt or a little chili for “something special.”

    2. User avatar demarcus.watsica20 says:

      4 stars
Hmm I disagree 😅 This is super bright and pretty filling for a salad. If you chill it longer (like 30-60 min) the flavor meshes better. Also, make sure the lime juice is fresh—bottled can be meh.

  50. User avatar katheleen.conn44 says:

    2 stars
kiwis are small but they take over the whole salad 😅 also I had no mint so I used basil—don’t do that again. Flavor was weird.

    1. User avatar laquanda.miller1967 says:

      4 stars
Oof, yeah kiwi can totally dominate a salad 😅 I usually do like 1 kiwi max (or half) if I’m not balancing it. And totally agree about the basil—mint is the vibe here. Next time, try extra lime/honey to smooth it out, and add mint at the end.

  51. User avatar rubin.nienow1963 says:

    3 stars
I tried this and it was okay, but I prefer just eating the fruit raw. Not sure the honey and lime is necessary.

  52. User avatar rich.landlord says:

    1 star
This seems like food for rabbits. Not for me.

  53. User avatar charita.parisian2009 says:

    4 stars
I mixed it up a bit and used orange juice instead of lime. Still super tasty!

  54. User avatar Magrathean sperm whale says:

    2 stars
I tried it but my dragon fruit got mushy fast 😭. Also the lime juice was sour like crazy. Not saying it’s bad—just didn’t work for my timing.

  55. 4 stars
Pretty good, super easy. I used a little less honey though because the kiwis were already really sweet. Still refreshing and not too tart.

  56. User avatar leigh.kihn46 says:

    5 stars
So good! I made it for a potluck and it disappeared. Everyone kept asking what dressing I used.

    1. User avatar joannie.lang2007 says:

      3 stars
Wait… honey + lime juice is the dressing? That seems way too simple lol. I might try it but I’ll probably add a little yogurt or something unless it’s supposed to be tangy only.

    2. User avatar ollie.mayer67 says:

      5 stars
Aww potluck success!! 😄 I love that you shared it—this honey-lime dressing is basically the whole magic. Glad people were asking!

  57. User avatar Dwarven Centurion says:

    2 stars
Not sure about the lime + honey ratio. Mine tasted weirdly sour-sweet, and I checked the measurements twice. Could be my limes? Anyway, I’d tweak it.

    1. User avatar Edris Wuckert Sr. says:

      3 stars
Hmm I dunno… I used the exact ratio and mine was super sour too, but I also used limes that weren’t very juicy. Maybe your limes were smaller/older? I’d just use more honey and forget the lime amount, lol.

    2. User avatar Carey Vandervort says:

      5 stars
Good call on tweaking it. With fruit like kiwi (often pretty tart), 1 tbsp lime + 1 tbsp honey can swing sour-fast depending on lime strength. Next time try a little less lime juice or add honey gradually—like 1 tsp at a time.

  58. User avatar neida.lockman42 says:

    2 stars
Cute name, but honestly I’d skip the honey. Dragon fruit is already sweet and the lime is doing a lot. Still, the mint garnish saved it for me.

    1. User avatar timothy.balistreri5 says:

      5 stars
Totally get that—dragon fruit can be sweet enough on its own. I usually go light on the honey (or swap it for a tiny drizzle) and let the lime and mint do the work too.

  59. User avatar sydney.brakus55 says:

    4 stars
I was skeptical about the honey + lime, but it ended up working. The fruit tasted brighter instead of overly sweet.

  60. User avatar Super Saiyan 3 Goku says:

    2 stars
Mint leaves? Who has that just lying around? Boring.

    1. User avatar pura.braun1977 says:

      4 stars
You can find mint in the grocery store easily. It’s worth it for that fresh flavor!

  61. User avatar joe_banana says:

    5 stars
This salad is sooo refreshing! I love the combo of flavors! 🍈

  62. 2 stars
I followed it exactly and it felt like eating plain fruit with lemon juice? Like where’s the wow factor? Maybe my dragon fruit wasn’t ripe.

    1. User avatar chance.goodwin87 says:

      2 stars
Totally get you. It’s super simple, so if the dragon fruit wasn’t really ripe it can taste bland and almost watery. Try adding a bit more honey or even a splash of orange juice next time for more “wow.”

    2. User avatar Alia Atreides says:

      4 stars
Wait… I love it as written. Dragon fruit + kiwi is already sweet/tart, and the lime-honey dressing ties it together. If it tasted like plain fruit, maybe you didn’t chill it long enough? I usually do 20–30 min in the fridge.

  63. User avatar armadillo says:

    4 stars
Pretty good, but 1 tbsp honey felt a little much for my kiwis. Next time I’ll do 2 tsp and see. Still, super easy and pretty on the plate.

  64. 3 stars
I followed it exactly, but mine turned kind of sour? I think my limes were extra strong and the honey didn’t balance enough.

    1. 4 stars
Oh no—yeah lime can definitely overpower. Next time try adding a bit more honey (or a tiny pinch of salt) before tossing everything. Also, make sure you’re using fresh, not super old lime juice—sometimes that gets harsher and “sour” fast.

  65. 3 stars
Kinda weird but ok. Mint helps, I guess.

  66. User avatar Romana Johnson says:

    2 stars
Not for me. Too sour and too sweet together, like a weird smoothie. Also 2 dragon fruit feels like a lot for one small salad.

  67. User avatar Falmer Shadowmaster says:

    2 stars
Not sure about the amount of honey—1 tbsp felt strong for my fruit. Also, my kiwis were kinda grainy, so the texture wasn’t perfect.

    1. User avatar elroy.dooley26 says:

      4 stars
Yeah, 1 tbsp honey can be a lot depending on how ripe your fruit is. I usually start with 1/2 tbsp and add more only if it needs it. And kiwi can get grainy if it’s older or not fully ripe—cutting them right before serving helps too.

  68. 2 stars
Not convinced. Dragon fruit has a weird texture when diced, and I feel like honey + lime clashes with the taste. Maybe it’s just me.

  69. User avatar syreeta.rogahn57 says:

    3 stars
The instructions are simple, which I like, but I wish it said how long to chill it. I only waited 10 minutes and it was okay but not as good.

    1. User avatar cleopatra.sporer1 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—“chilled” is vague. I usually chill it like 30 minutes and it tastes way more zingy and sweet. 10 minutes can work, but it’s not the same.

    2. 4 stars
I tried it with only 10 min too 😅 It was fine but kinda watery. Maybe the fruit needs longer so the honey mixes better? Wish the recipe told a specific time.

  70. User avatar karisa.glover6 says:

    3 stars
I followed it exactly and my salad came out watery. Maybe my fruit was too ripe? Taste was nice though—couldn’t stop eating it.

    1. User avatar adelle.jacobi1994 says:

      3 stars
Mine was watery too 😅 I think it’s the kiwi. I swear I followed it but maybe I used “too much” honey-lime? Still tasted good so I kept eating lol. Mint helped.

    2. User avatar estefana.kerluke says:

      4 stars
That watery texture makes sense if the dragon fruit/kiwi were super ripe—more juice releases when you dice and toss. Next time try slightly firmer fruit and chill the dressing before mixing.

  71. 5 stars
Made it last night and it was gone in minutes. I used a little less honey and added extra lime—still sweet, just more tangy. Will definitely repeat.

  72. User avatar ArabianNights says:

    1 star
Meh. I think honey + lime makes it too tangy? Or maybe my kiwis were bad, idk. I wouldn’t repeat it.

  73. User avatar valery.harber says:

    4 stars
Pretty good, but my dragon fruit was super watery so the salad got a little runny. Next time I’ll dice and pat it dry with a paper towel first.

    1. 5 stars
Ahh that makes sense—dragon fruit can be pretty juicy. Dicing finer and blotting it dry sounds like a great fix. Thanks for the tip!

  74. User avatar marin.klein10 says:

    5 stars
Five minutes and it’s done—love that. The lime juice really makes the kiwi pop. I added a pinch of salt and it somehow tasted even better.

    1. User avatar Falmer Shadowmaster says:

      5 stars
Yes!! The lime + honey combo is magic. I love when fruit salads taste like a real treat instead of just “healthy.” 🌿

    2. 4 stars
Wow 5 minutes? Seems kinda too easy… but I believe it now. I’ve never tried salt in a fruit salad though—might try a tiny pinch next time. Also do you mean salt AND lime juice together or just salt at the end?

  75. User avatar Altagracia Borer says:

    5 stars
So bright and refreshing! The honey-lime combo really makes the dragon fruit pop. I added extra mint and it tasted like summer.

Totally agree—honey + lime is such a good move. Extra mint sounds amazing, I’ll have to try that next time!

  76. User avatar winston.orn90 says:

    2 stars
Does anyone else think kiwi + lime is gonna cause indigestion? Like, it just seems too acidic. I’m still gonna try, but cautiously lol.

  77. User avatar starr.prosacco says:

    3 stars
Healthy-ish snack idea, but I found it a bit too tangy. Next time I’ll add more honey or less lime juice.

    1. User avatar dusty.schmeler2002 says:

      5 stars
Totally get that—lime can be pretty punchy with the honey. I’d try adding the lime a little at a time and taste as you go (or even use less than 1 tbsp).

  78. User avatar judi.corkery says:

    4 stars
Easy recipe, and the presentation looks gorgeous. I did find 1 tbsp honey a bit too sweet for my taste, so next time I’ll use a little less.

  79. User avatar misti.strosin92 says:

    1 star
Seems too simple to be good. Salad like this needs salt or something. I tried it once and was like… meh.

  80. User avatar Lumberjack says:

    2 stars
The dragon fruit is too expensive for me. Can’t believe you used 2! That’s like $10 right there. 😒

  81. User avatar Hasimir Fenring says:

    4 stars
Dragon fruits are weird looking but I guess they taste good?

  82. User avatar waltraud.shields1987 says:

    5 stars
Such a refreshing combo! The honey-lime dressing really makes the dragon fruit pop. I added extra mint and it tasted super fresh.

    1. User avatar gabriel.hill says:

      5 stars
Yes! Honey + lime is such a perfect match for the fruit—my salad tasted brighter right away when I tried it too. I love adding extra mint as well. 🌿

    2. User avatar ferdinand.sipes says:

      3 stars
Not sure about honey-lime—feels kinda sweet for dragon fruit to me. I think I’d swap honey for a bit of lime juice or maybe just use more mint. Did anyone try it with no honey?

  83. 4 stars
I misread the recipe and added too much lime. Oops!

  84. User avatar Arwen Evenstar says:

    4 stars
The mint garnish is everything. I didn’t chill it long enough and it was kinda bland, but after 30-60 mins in the fridge it improved a lot.

  85. User avatar bart.casper14 says:

    5 stars
So simple it feels like cheating 😅 but it’s actually delicious. Fresh mint + chilled fruit = perfect summer snack.

  86. User avatar Zarniwoop says:

    4 stars
Yummy! The honey gives it such a nice touch. My kids loved it too! Will make again.

  87. User avatar brook.heller90 says:

    4 stars
So easy—like, 10 minutes easy. I added a pinch of salt and it made the flavors pop more. Not in the recipe, but I’m keeping it.

  88. User avatar Murbella says:

    3 stars
Why are you using honey? It’s not vegan! Try agave.

    1. User avatar shawnta.collins1998 says:

      4 stars
I think honey adds a really nice flavor to the salad, but I see your point. Agave could work too! They both taste good.

    2. 2 stars
But honey is natural and good for you! Why would we wanna use that fake stuff like agave? Just saying.

  89. User avatar crystal.bauch74 says:

    2 stars
I don’t get why people like dragon fruit. Tastes like nothing to me.

  90. 3 stars
Isn’t dragon fruit kind of like cactus melon? Maybe I’m thinking of something else, but anyway the flavor here was surprisingly mild. Would make again.

    1. User avatar jetta.runte49 says:

      5 stars
Sort of! Dragon fruit is in the cactus family, but it’s not really the same as “cactus melon.” Flavor-wise I agree—pretty mild and refreshing, especially with lime/honey.

    2. User avatar fredda.carter says:

      3 stars
I don’t know… I thought it would be sweeter. Mine came out kinda tart, like too much lime. But yeah, the texture was nice. Next time I’ll add less lime or more honey.

  91. User avatar lean.terry2005 says:

    5 stars
This looks so refreshing! The honey + lime combo sounds perfect for cutting the sweetness of the fruit. I’ll definitely add more mint next time.

    1. User avatar lynn.johns1955 says:

      3 stars
I tried something like this but I used too much honey… it got kinda sweet. Next time I’ll go lighter and maybe add more lime. Also do you think orange would work too?

    2. User avatar geoWizard says:

      5 stars
Yes! Honey + lime is such a good idea—makes it taste bright instead of cloying. Mint on top is the perfect finishing touch 🌿

  92. User avatar delorse.gleichner75 says:

    5 stars
This salad is so refreshing! The blend of sweet and tart is perfect.

  93. User avatar liberal.hero says:

    4 stars
Really easy and pretty. I used a little less honey and it still tasted great—didn’t feel overly sugary at all.

  94. User avatar lesley.cummerata45 says:

    5 stars
Yum! Super good and pretty. Gave it to my kids, they liked it!

  95. 5 stars
This looks so refreshing! The honey + lime combo is perfect for fruit salads, and the mint garnish is a nice touch. I’ll definitely try it chilled.

  96. User avatar maurice.kemmer62 says:

    5 stars
Mint garnish is a must. I forgot it once and it felt like it was missing something. Also, gently toss so it doesn’t get mushy.

    1. User avatar Sabre Cat says:

      3 stars
I think mint is nice but not mandatory… mine still tasted good even without it. Also, do you mean toss right before serving? I might’ve mixed it too long and it got mushy lol.

    2. User avatar jeraldine.donnelly32 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—mint makes it feel “finished.” I forgot it once too and it tasted kinda flat. Gentle toss is the key for sure!

  97. User avatar waldo.hyatt21 says:

    5 stars
This looks so refreshing! I love the color combo of dragon fruit and kiwi—feels like summer in a bowl. The honey-lime dressing is simple but sounds perfect.

    1. User avatar Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz says:

      5 stars
Right?? The dragon fruit + kiwi combo is such a pretty color. I bet the honey-lime dressing really pops it—gonna try this tonight!

  98. User avatar king.little86 says:

    5 stars
I didn’t expect kiwi to go so well with dragon fruit, but wow. This is like a fancy fruit cup without the effort. Served it at brunch and everyone asked for the recipe.

  99. User avatar awilda.sawayn52 says:

    4 stars
I tried it and it was delicious, but I messed up step 2 and whisked the honey too long. It turned thicker than I thought. Not bad though!

  100. User avatar sherita.kshlerin65 says:

    5 stars
This is such a refreshing combo—sweet, tart, and the mint makes it feel fancy. I added a pinch of salt to the dressing and it really popped.

  101. User avatar Arwen Evenstar says:

    5 stars
Dragon fruit + lime is weirdly good. Kinda wanna eat it all before it chills…

    1. User avatar benjamin.champlin95 says:

      5 stars
Right?? I tried dragon fruit with lime once and it totally pops—sweet + tart is perfect. Just don’t let it sit too long or it’ll get watery. 😄

  102. User avatar ismael.fahey78 says:

    4 stars
Really easy and pretty. I used a bit less honey because my kiwis were super tart, and it still tasted great. Served it cold and it disappeared fast.

    1. User avatar reuben.predovic says:

      3 stars
Wait, dragon fruit and kiwi together? Sounds kinda watery to me, but I guess the honey-lime helps. I might try it, though I’d add less lime next time—too much acid can overpower the fruit.

    2. User avatar daryl.ziemann says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—this is super easy. I also went a little lighter on the honey since my kiwis were extra tangy, and the lime balanced it perfectly. Chilled definitely makes it disappear faster 😄

  103. 2 stars
Mint garnish made it taste like toothpaste a little (sorry). I know that sounds dramatic, but I’m not a mint person with fruit.

  104. User avatar keneth.gislason2008 says:

    5 stars
Yum! I served it with yogurt and it was amazing. The colors are gorgeous and it’s light enough that you don’t feel gross after.

  105. 3 stars
It was good but the dressing kind of disappeared—like there wasn’t enough to coat everything. I used smaller fruit pieces too, so maybe that’s why. Still, refreshing.

  106. User avatar jutta.glover says:

    5 stars
Simple and surprisingly tasty. I used a little less honey since my kiwis were sweet, and it still worked great.

  107. User avatar terminatorXYZ says:

    4 stars
Really easy recipe—had it done in like 10 minutes. I used a bit more lime since my honey was super mild. Turned out great.

    1. User avatar francis.hansen says:

      5 stars
Glad it worked for you! Quick and fresh—love that combo. I bet the extra lime made it pop more, especially with mild honey.

  108. User avatar sergio.nicolas92 says:

    3 stars
Dragon fruit is weirdly expensive where I live… but the color is gorgeous. I’d make it for guests, not just me.

  109. 3 stars
Not gonna lie, I’m skeptical about honey in a salad like this. It turned out okay, but I think it would be better with just lime or maybe a pinch of salt.

  110. User avatar selina.wisoky83 says:

    3 stars
Kinda bland for me without extra salt or something. The fruit is good, but I needed more contrast—maybe a splash of vanilla or a tiny pinch of salt would help.

    1. 3 stars
Bland? But the honey + lime is already flavorful 😅 I wouldn’t add vanilla though—seems like it’ll fight the kiwi. Maybe just use more lime juice or add more honey for balance. Or are you eating it not chilled?

    2. 5 stars
I hear you—dragon fruit and kiwi can feel a little “sweet-only” if you don’t add something. A tiny pinch of salt (or even extra lime) really wakes it up. I’ll try the vanilla idea too!

  111. User avatar anonymous_hacker says:

    5 stars
Dragon fruit AND kiwi? That’s a powerhouse combo! I’m doing this for guests—looks fancy without being complicated.

  112. User avatar Margarete Bahringer says:

    4 stars
I tried it and my dressing didn’t really ‘whisk’—the honey was thick and wouldn’t mix smooth. I ended up stirring longer and adding a tiny splash of water. Tastes good now.

    1. User avatar ute.lemke79 says:

      5 stars
Totally get that—honey can be stubborn. A quick warm-up (or a tiny splash of water like you did) usually helps it whisk into the lime juice better. Glad it still tasted good!

  113. User avatar sybil.gibson93 says:

    4 stars
Super easy and honestly pretty. The dressing tasted bright, and chilling it made everything even better. Mint on top = chef’s kiss.

  114. User avatar briana.tillman says:

    5 stars
This looks so refreshing! I love the sweet-tangy combo—honey + lime is a winner. I’ll probably add a pinch of chili for a little kick next time.

  115. 4 stars
Mint is the only reason I’d eat this lol. Jk—tbh it’s actually pretty tasty, just wish it was less sour.

  116. User avatar hellen.stokes88 says:

    2 stars
I tried this and it tasted kinda bland? Maybe my lime was weak. Also I couldn’t really tell the dressing apart from the fruit.

    1. User avatar steve.labadie says:

      4 stars
That makes sense—dragon fruit and kiwi can be pretty mild on their own. If your lime was weak or not very juicy, the honey-lime dressing wouldn’t “pop,” so it could end up tasting bland and not very distinct from the fruit. I’d try adding a bit more lime (or a small pinch of salt) and letting it chill for 10–15 minutes so the flavors blend. Also, make sure you whisk until the honey fully dissolves.

  117. User avatar Barry Manilow says:

    5 stars
Made this last night—super refreshing! The honey-lime combo really pops against the sweet fruit. I added extra mint and it tasted like a fancy fruit bar. 🍉

    1. User avatar jackie.hickle says:

      5 stars
Love that description—“fancy fruit bar” is exactly the vibe! 🍋‍🟩 I’ll have to try extra mint next time.

    2. User avatar carl.jakubowski78 says:

      3 stars
I made something like this but my dressing turned kinda too runny… maybe I used the wrong lime? Still tasted good though.

  118. User avatar Darrin Lebsack says:

    3 stars
Just me, but I think the ratio is off. 2 dragon fruit + 2 kiwis seems random—would love exact weights or cups. Also lime juice amount should be measured tighter.

    1. User avatar bong.walker57 says:

      3 stars
I kinda like the randomness 😅 but yeah, measured lime juice would be better. I always add a splash more because 1 tbsp tastes like nothing to me.

    2. User avatar tommie.west83 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—”2″ and “2” is super subjective. Exact weights (like grams) or at least cups would help a lot, especially for kiwis since they vary in size.

  119. 3 stars
The texture was kinda watery after chilling—maybe I cut the kiwi too thin? Still tasty, just not as “crisp” as I expected.

  120. User avatar stacee.beatty93 says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about honey in a fruit salad, but it actually works. The flavor balance is nice.

  121. User avatar Leto II Atreides says:

    5 stars
My kid actually asked for seconds which never happens with fruit. I let it sit in the fridge for 20 min before serving—way better cold.

  122. User avatar robby.leuschke49 says:

    3 stars
Not gonna lie, dragon fruit always looks like it should taste like bubblegum, but it’s actually kinda bland. The lime helps, so I’d call it okay.

    1. User avatar Chris Mass says:

      5 stars
Totally get what you mean—dragon fruit *looks* candy-like, but it’s pretty mellow. The lime + honey combo is the key though. I usually add a pinch of salt too to make it pop.

  123. User avatar Miss Jonah Ruecker says:

    5 stars
Not gonna lie, my kids ate it up instantly. They kept asking for “the pink cubes” (dragon fruit).

  124. User avatar Valene Funk says:

    5 stars
Super easy, quick, and honestly it tastes like a fancy fruit cup. I used a little extra mint and it brightened everything up.

    1. User avatar Rickie Gleichner Sr. says:

      5 stars
Yes!! The honey-lime combo is such a bright little punch. I made this for a quick snack and it totally felt “restaurant-y.” I also love adding more mint—makes it taste fresher.

    2. 4 stars
I tried it but mine came out kinda tart—maybe my limes were extra strong? Still good though, just need a bit more honey next time. Also dragon fruit is expensive where I live 😅

  125. User avatar yajaira.mcclure says:

    4 stars
I made it and somehow the dressing didn’t coat evenly. I whisked longer and it helped. Flavor is nice, just need patience.

  126. 3 stars
I think 1 tbsp honey is too much for my palate. It came out a little sweet. Maybe half next time. But the flavor balance is still good with the lime.

  127. User avatar oPandariaNo says:

    3 stars
I’m not sure about the honey-lime ratio—mine tasted a little sharp at first. Next time I might warm the honey slightly or add more honey to round it out.

  128. User avatar Emily Saunders says:

    5 stars
This looks so refreshing! The honey + lime combo sounds perfect for balancing the sweetness of the dragon fruit. I’ll definitely try it with extra mint.

    1. 5 stars
Yesss! Honey + lime is such a great balance—sounds like it’ll really pop with the dragon fruit sweetness. Extra mint is a solid move too.

  129. User avatar lanny.tillman says:

    4 stars
Honestly, I wasn’t sure about dragon fruit, but it was surprisingly good. The dressing is simple and not overly sour.

  130. User avatar Oolon Colluphid says:

    5 stars
This salad is so refreshing! The honey + lime combo really makes the fruit pop, and the mint on top is perfect. Will definitely make again for summer guests.

    1. User avatar Bowerick Wowbagger says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—honey + lime makes it taste way brighter. I didn’t think about the mint until I saw your comment, now I’m definitely adding more next time.

  131. User avatar terminatorXYZ says:

    5 stars
Dragon fruit is a vibe 😍 This salad is like summer in a bowl. Chilling it makes it even better—highly recommend!

  132. User avatar virgil.gorczany says:

    4 stars
The colors are gorgeous—dragon fruit is basically edible confetti. Mine wasn’t very “dressed” though, maybe I had too many pieces? Still delicious.

  133. User avatar bryant.hackett24 says:

    2 stars
Wait, 1 tbsp honey for just two fruits? Seems too sweet. I used less honey and it was perfect—so follow your taste, not the exact measure.

  134. User avatar Draugr Death Overlord says:

    4 stars
Dragon fruit is expensive where I live, so I tried it with only kiwis and it still tasted good. The recipe is forgiving. Also, the steps are super straightforward!

  135. User avatar anonymous_hacker says:

    4 stars
I liked it, but my dressing was too tangy at first. Next time I’ll do a touch less lime juice or add more honey. Still a good salad though.

    1. 4 stars
Hmm I think maybe the problem was the lime amount, not the recipe. Like 1 tbsp lime is a lot for just 2 fruits. Next time add honey like you said, or even half lime—otherwise it tastes kinda sour-salad-y 😂

    2. User avatar diego.keeling says:

      5 stars
Totally feel you—lime can be punchy. I’ve had good luck adding the honey first and tasting the dressing before mixing with everything. Glad it still worked out though!

  136. User avatar leopoldo.pacocha says:

    2 stars
Meh. Dragon fruit tastes kinda bland to me. Mint helped a little but I wouldn’t make it again.

  137. User avatar chasidy.lowe36 says:

    2 stars
Meh. Too sweet for my taste. Also lime juice always smells like soap to me lol.

  138. User avatar quinton.reynolds says:

    5 stars
This looks so fresh and pretty! The honey + lime combo sounds perfect with the kiwi tartness. I’m totally making it for a summer dinner.

  139. 4 stars
Super easy and tastes light, not too sweet. I used a little less honey and it was still great. Chilling it for 30 minutes helped a lot.

  140. 3 stars
“Chilled and enjoy” is right, but I wish it gave a time for chilling. I left mine 30 mins and it needed more flavor mixing.

    1. 4 stars
Totally agree—“chilled and enjoy” is vague. I usually let it sit about 20–30 mins so the honey-lime coating really soaks in, then give it a gentle toss again before serving.
