Cinnamon Tea is a soothing, aromatic beverage that combines the warm, spicy flavor of cinnamon with the calming qualities of tea. Known for its numerous health benefits, including boosting metabolism, aiding digestion, and providing antioxidant properties, this tea is perfect for relaxing after a long day or warming up during the colder months. Cinnamon’s natural sweetness and depth of flavor make it a comforting and versatile drink, whether you enjoy it on its own or paired with other spices or herbs.
To prepare Cinnamon Tea, start by boiling water or brewing your favorite tea base, such as black or green tea. Add a cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon to the hot liquid. If using a cinnamon stick, let it steep for 5-10 minutes to infuse the water with the spice. Ground cinnamon can be added directly to the water or tea, but it’s best to whisk it well to prevent clumping. If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can add honey or maple syrup to complement the cinnamon’s natural sweetness.
For extra flavor, consider adding other spices such as ginger, cloves, or cardamom. These can enhance the depth of the tea and provide additional health benefits, including anti-inflammatory properties. A slice of lemon can also be added for a refreshing twist and extra vitamin C, or you can use a splash of milk or a dairy alternative like almond or oat milk for a creamy version.
This tea can be enjoyed hot or cold, making it a versatile beverage for any season. In the winter, it provides a cozy, warming feeling, while in the summer, iced cinnamon tea can be a refreshing way to cool down while still enjoying the spice’s flavor.
This tea is also an excellent digestive aid, especially after meals, as cinnamon has been traditionally used to soothe the stomach and reduce bloating. Drinking this tea regularly may also help with blood sugar regulation and promote heart health. Whether you’re looking for a natural remedy or just a delicious, warming beverage, Cinnamon Tea is a simple and satisfying choice.

Not too sweet, just the way I like it! Thanks for sharing.
For the best flavor, use any cinnamon! I think it works just fine. Other stuff has taste too.
Lame. Just boil water and add spices? Whatever.
I think you’re missing the point! It’s all about the simplicity and the flavor of the cinnamon. Sometimes less is more. 🌟
I don’t get it either. Boiling water and putting in sticks? This isn’t real cooking! 😒
Ceylon cinnamon, huh? Is that really necessary? I just used regular cinnamon and it turned out fine.
This tea is so good! Perfect for a cold night. I added lemon too.
I don’t know, it didn’t taste like the cinnamon tea my grandma used to make. Kinda disappointed.
Cinnamon tea? Is that even a real thing? I was skeptical but was surprised it actually tastes good.
I dunno, it was alright but a bit too spicy for my taste. Not sure if I did it right…
Just cinnamon and water? Seems too simple. I added some ginger and lemon, was that okay??
This tea is so soothing! Perfect for a cold day.
This recipe is great! The cinnamon makes everything better. I added some lemon too.
not for me, I prefer my tea with milk. this seems too plain.
I get that! Milk tea has its own charm. But you should give this a try on a cold day! It’s soothing.
2 thums up! Best drink ever! I’ve been drinking all week!
Who knew making tea could be so complicated? I messed it up on my first try. 😅
Ceylon cinnamon is the best! My grandma always used it in her teas. ❤️
Too simple! I expected more from a tea recipe. Where’s the fun in just cinnamon and water?
Srsly? It’s just hot water with some sticks. Where’s the creativity? You could at least add some lemon or apple slices.
I think simplicity is the beauty of this recipe! Sometimes less is more, especially with something as aromatic as cinnamon. Give it a try! 😊
I tried it with regular cinnamon and it tasted off… might be better with Ceylon.
This cinnamon tea is so comforting! Perfect for chilly evenings. 👌
Nah, I prefer coffee. Way better pick-me-up than this cinnamon nonsense.
This tea is amazing! The cinnamon flavor is so warm and comforting.
I didn’t have honey, so I used sugar instead. Still tasted nice! But shouldn’t honey be healthier??
Super easy to make! Just made a batch and my kids love it. Will definitely make it again.
I tried making it, but my tea didn’t taste right. Maybe I used too much cinnamon? It’s still drinkable tho.
That’s awesome! I’m so glad your kids enjoyed it. Cinnamon tea is such a cozy drink, perfect for cold days!
Cinnamon is good for you but I ain’t a fan of tea. Dislike.
Simple yet delicious! Can’t believe I waited so long to try this. Will make again!
I totally agree! It’s such an easy recipe and tastes amazing. I’m glad you tried it!
Tastes great, but I accidentally used regular cinnamon. Still good tho! LOL!
Haha, glad it still turned out good! Ceylon cinnamon is definitely better, but regular cinnamon works too if you’re in a pinch! 🍵
OMG this is da bomb! I added some lemon juice too and it’s amazing! 😍
Lemon juice? That’s a twist! I never thought of that, I gotta try it! 😄
This tea is so warm and comforting! Perfect for chilly evenings. I’ll definitely make it again.
I don’t get the hype. It’s just hot water with some spice. Meh.
How much water in cups? Does it change flavor with more water? 🤔
I dunno, but I think more water makes it weak? Like, less cinnamon flavor or something.
You only need 1 cup of water for this recipe! More water might dilute the flavor, so best stick to the recipe.
My mom makes this all the time, brings back memories. Love it!
That’s so sweet! I love when food brings back good memories. My grandma used to make something similar!
This was too strong for my taste. Thought it’d be sweeter.
Cinnamon tea is my new fave! Make sure to strain well, or it’ll be all gritty.
Totally agree! Straining is key to a smooth tea. Love that hint of honey too!
This tea is amazing! I love the warmth of the cinnamon. Perfect for a cold day!
Ceylon cinnamon is hard to find! Can I use the normal one? Idk much abdout these types.
Too simple, I need a more complex recipe to enjoy tea.
But, how can you say it’s too simple? Tea doesn’t have to be fancy, just delicious. Maybe try adding some lemon or ginger next time!
I think this recipe is perfect just the way it is! Sometimes simple is best. Why complicate things?
I don’t get it. Just boiling water with sticks? Seems kinda silly to me.
Yum, this is my new go-to drink! Perfect for winter nights.
Cinnamon tea rocks! I love how warm and comforting it is. I drink it every morning! ☕
Too much hassle for tea. Just buy a bag of cinnamon tea bags, it’s easier.
Love how simple this recipe is! I added some ginger, too. Makes it even better.
Absolutely love this! The Ceylon cinnamon really makes a difference. Perfect for a chilly evening.
Love it! But next time, I think I’ll skip the honey as it’s sweet enough with just the cinnamon!
Tea taste good! Love me some cinnamon tea!!!
I’m not sure about this recipe. Is it really that easy? Can’t believe just water and cinnamon makes tea.
I don’t think you need to boil for that long. My tea got super bitter! Just a minute or two should be fine.
I totally agree! I usually only let it boil for about 2 minutes too. That seems to work better to avoid the bitterness!
Simple and effective! This is the kind of tea that warms your soul. Gonna make it every day! 🙂
Just made this! The honey really makes it taste great! Yum! 🍯
I used regular cinnamon from the pantry, was it suppose to make a diff? I dunno, it was okay at best.
Yum! I added a squeeze of lemon to mine. Such a refreshing twist!
Tried it without honey, and it was still bitter. This recipe needs some tweaking.
I think the bitterness comes from the cinnamon itself. Maybe try using less or a different kind? Ceylon is more mellow! Good luck!
Cinnamon tea? Sounds strange but I tried and wow, nice!
I never thought I would like it, but it was surprisingly good! Perfect for cold days.
Cinnamon tea? Isn’t that just boiling water with sticks? Not sure about this!
I tried this but used regular cinnamon and it wasn’t as good 😕.
easy to make. I like it. 👍
Cinnamon tea is just hot water with sticks in it, right?
I love this recipe! It’s so easy and quick to make. I added a pinch of ginger too, delicious!
I didn’t have Ceylon cinnamon, just the regular stuff. It was ok, but I’m sure it would be better with the good stuff.
My grandma used to make this for me. Brings back memories! ❤️
Cinnamon tea? Sounds kinda basic but I guess it has its charm. 🤷♂️
That’s so sweet! I love recipes that remind us of family. ❤️
Honey really makes a difference! I didn’t think I needed it but wow!
I totally agree! The honey just adds this special sweetness that makes everything better.
I dunno, I don’t like honey much. Think it’s just a gimmick.
Not bad, but I was expecting a stronger flavor. Maybe I didn’t simmer long enough?
You might need to let it simmer a bit longer! I usually go for like 10 minutes for more flavor.
This tea is amazing! The flavor is so rich and comforting. Perfect for chilly nights!
I tried this but added some lemon… it didn’t taste good. Should’ve stuck to the recipe.
Cinnamon tea? Why not just have coffee? This feels unnecessary.
Cinnamon tea is great for digestion and has a nice flavor! Coffee can be too strong sometimes. Give it a try! 😊
Cinnamon tea good! Made it for the first time. ☺️
I don’t get why everyone loves this. It’s just boiled water with sticks…not my thing.
Eh…I thought it would be more flavorful. My mom makes better tea with spices. Should’ve added more honey.
This tea is a game changer! Really warms you up on cold days. I used regular cinnamon, but still tasted great!
Super simple and yummy! But why do people say Ceylon cinnamon is better? Isn’t all cinnamon the same?
I dunno about that. Cinnamon is just cinnamon, as long as it tastes good, right? I use whatever I have at home and it’s still yummy!
Ceylon cinnamon is definitely better! It has a sweeter taste and is way healthier. Regular cinnamon can have some coumarin which is bad for the liver if you eat a lot of it. So yeah, just stick with Ceylon!
