Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese softened
  • 1 bunch asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest finely grated
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread the softened goat cheese over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  • Arrange the asparagus spears over the goat cheese layer.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and honey, and sprinkle with lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the asparagus is tender.
  • Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
