Baked feta bites are a delicious, easy-to-make appetizer that’s perfect for any occasion. With a crispy golden exterior and a creamy, tangy feta filling, these little bites are full of flavor and texture. Whether you’re hosting a party, serving them as a snack, or bringing something special to a potluck, baked feta bites are sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
To make these bites, start by crumbling feta cheese into a bowl and mixing it with a variety of flavorful ingredients. Herbs like oregano, thyme, or rosemary work wonderfully, while a bit of garlic and lemon zest adds depth and brightness. For added richness, you can mix in a little cream cheese or ricotta. This creamy mixture is then spooned into puff pastry squares or phyllo dough, which will bake up beautifully golden and flaky around the feta filling.
To assemble the bites, cut the puff pastry into small squares and place a generous spoonful of the feta mixture in the center of each. Fold the pastry around the filling to create little parcels, sealing the edges tightly to prevent the cheese from spilling out. Brush each bite with a bit of olive oil or butter before baking to give them that perfect golden color.
Bake the feta bites in a preheated oven until the pastry is golden brown and crispy. As they bake, the cheese filling becomes soft and melty, creating a creamy, tangy center that perfectly complements the crisp pastry shell. The result is a delicious combination of textures and flavors that are simply irresistible.
These baked feta bites are versatile, so feel free to get creative with the filling. You can add olives, sun-dried tomatoes, or spinach for extra flavor and color. Serve them warm with a side of marinara sauce or a drizzle of honey for a sweet and savory contrast.
Perfect for casual gatherings or more formal events, baked feta bites are an easy, impressive appetizer that everyone will enjoy. Their crispy, cheesy goodness will make them a favorite in your appetizer repertoire.

These are absolutely delicious! The phyllo gets so crispy and the feta is just perfect. My family loved them!
Super easy recipe! I added some spinach in with the feta and it turned out great! Will make again for sure.
I don’t know, I’ve tried baked feta and it was just too salty for me. Maybe I did something wrong?
That’s awesome! Spinach sounds like a great addition. I’m going to try that next time!
Why use phyllo? I did it with just regular bread and it was still good! Just my opinion. 🤷♂️
I thought they were going to be too rich with feta, but the honey balanced it out nicely. Still, they’re not something I’d make again.
These are AMAZING! I served them at a party and everyone was raving about them. Definitely a 5-star dish!
So glad to hear they were a hit at your party! These bites are definitely a crowd-pleaser.
I dunno, my friends said it was too cheesy. 🤷♂️ Maybe I did somethin’ wrong.
Eeeeek! These are so crispy and fluffy! My kids loved them too, I think I’ll add some garlic next time!
Yum! Adding garlic sounds amazing! Thanks for the tip! These little bites are the best!
Baked feta bites? i prefer fried, but these were not bad!
made these for my mom’s birthday and she ate them all up! 👩🍳 Highly recommend!
Kinda bland if you ask me… maybe more seasonings would help? Not how I expected them to taste.
