A delicious twist on the classic recipe featuring mini sausages wrapped in bacon and puff pastry.
Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon thinly sliced
- 16 pieces mini sausages cocktail sausages
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed if frozen
- 1 tbsp egg beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut each bacon slice in half. Wrap each mini sausage with a half slice of bacon.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into 16 strips.
- Wrap each bacon-wrapped sausage with a strip of puff pastry, sealing the edges with a bit of beaten egg.
- Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the bacon is cooked through.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
