Creamy and buttery garlic mashed potatoes that are a perfect side dish for any meal.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds potatoes peeled and cubed
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup milk warmed
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- salt to taste salt
- pepper to taste black pepper
Instructions
- Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water.
- Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return to the pot.
- Add minced garlic, warm milk, and softened butter to the potatoes.
- Mash potatoes until smooth, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
