Cherry tomatoes stuffed with feta are the perfect bite-sized treat that blends freshness with bold Mediterranean flavor. These little gems are not only colorful and fun to eat, but they also make an ideal appetizer or party snack that’s both easy to prepare and impressive to serve.
The natural sweetness and juiciness of ripe cherry tomatoes balance beautifully with the tangy, salty flavor of crumbled feta cheese. Once the tomatoes are hollowed out, they become tiny edible cups that hold the creamy, briny filling. Some recipes mix the feta with herbs like oregano or basil, or add a touch of olive oil or lemon zest to enhance the flavor and texture. The result is a savory, slightly creamy bite that bursts with flavor.
These stuffed cherry tomatoes are incredibly versatile. They’re perfect for summer gatherings, brunch tables, or even holiday platters when you’re looking for something light and flavorful. They can be served chilled for a refreshing snack or baked for a warm and melty variation. Either way, they’re always a crowd-pleaser.
What also makes them so appealing is the simplicity. You don’t need a long list of ingredients or complicated steps. It’s a great dish to whip up when you’re short on time but still want to offer something that feels thoughtful and homemade. And since they’re naturally gluten-free and vegetarian, they work well for a variety of guests and diets.
If you want to take things up a notch, you can drizzle the finished tomatoes with balsamic glaze or garnish them with chopped olives or toasted pine nuts. This is not how my grandma made it! She would add more spices. Just saying!
Y’all sure this is the best way to eat tomatoes? I prefer ’em in a salad. 🤨
Tomatoes are good, feta is good, but together? Not for me. 🤷♂️
I think it’s a great combo! The saltiness of feta really complements the sweetness of tomatoes. You should give it another try! 😊
Quick and simple! My kids helped me make these and loved them. Will make again!
These were amazing! I used sun-dried tomatoes instead though. Still tasty!
Honestly, I thought it would taste bland. But wow, the feta really makes it! Try it!
Not bad, but where’s the meat? Fruits and veggies are for salads. 2 stars.
These are so good! I made them for a party and they were a hit! Will definitely make again.
That sounds amazing! I love easy appetizers. I’ll definitely give it a try!
So tasty!!! But I added some garlic too, gives a nice twist! Love it!
Okay cooks, if you’re not stuffing them right it gets messy, you need a pastry bag! Trust me.
I hear you! A pastry bag makes all the difference. Tried it and it’s way cleaner! 🍅
I don’t like feta, can I use mozzarella instead? Hoping it works.
Why would you waste good tomatoes on some cheese? But who am I to judge? Some peeps like this.
I don’t know, tomatoes and cheese? Seems kinda weird to me. Just eat the tomatos raw.
I think it sounds delicious! The sweetness of cherry tomatoes with salty feta is a perfect match.
Simpel but good. I like feta turkish style too, no need for extra spice! Just cheese.
Yum! So fresh and tasty! Will make again for my family. They loved it too!
These were bright and fresh—exactly the kind of snack I crave. The feta + oregano combo is a winner. I did add a tiny pinch of garlic powder and it made them even better!
Looks easy! Gonna try this for dinner tonight! Wish me luck!
I don’t really see how cherry tomatoes and feta go together. Seems kinda strange, but I tried it and it was OK.
Quick and easy recipe! I used different cheese cause I didn’t have feta, it turned out great. Thanks!
I thought this was a boring idea at first, but it turned out to be a hit! Good job!
I mean, it looks good, but aren’t cherry tomatoes just a bit… meh? I didn’t find it special.
YUM! I added some garlic and a bit of basil too, turned this into a whole meal! Love it!
Delicious! I used goat cheese instead of feta because that’s what I had, and it was still amazing!!
Tasty but I think the proportions could be better. Maybe less oil?
The instructions are easy, but “serve immediately” is real—if you wait, they get watery. I served right away and it was perfect.
This is a fantastic recipe! Super easy to make and tastes heavenly. Definitely a crowd-pleaser!
I totally agree! These stuffed tomatoes are a hit at parties! Everyone loves them.
Yum! I could eat these all day but went a bit overboard with the pepper. 😂
Sounds good, but I dunno… too much spice can ruin the taste of tomatoes, right?
Haha, overboard with pepper? I’ve been there! But honestly, pepper is life! 😄
Yummy!! 🍅❤️
These are amazing! I made them for a party and everybody loved them. Will definitely make again.
I don’t get why people like feta. It’s too salty! Maybe try it with cream cheese instead.
Cherry tomatoes??? Why don’t you just slice a big tomato? Lol, seems silly to me.
Super easy recipe! My kids helped me make these. But I think I overstuffed them, was a bit messy!
So good! I added some garlic to the mix for an extra kick. Will make again!
Much better than I expected! Great for a summer snack! 👍
Can I use mozzarella instead of feta? I’m out of feta. 🤷♂️
Delicious and easy! I made these for a party and they were gone in minutes! Definitely a 5-star dish!
Didn’t work for me. My tomatoes were too soft and they fell apart. Sad face.
I found this recipe boring. Just tomatoes and cheese, where’s the flair? Sorry, but I rate it a 1.
I added some garlic and it was a game changer! 5 stars for sure!
Not bad but I expected more. The feta flavor didn’t shine like I thought it would.
Totally love feta! I added some garlic, made it better!
Feta is good, but garlic in stuffed tomatoes? I don’t know… might be too strong.
Garlic sounds yum! I’ll have to try that next time!
I don’t understand how this could be a fancy dish. It’s just tomatoes and cheese. 🙄
Fancy is all about presentation! These look great for a party. 😍
I made these with goat cheese instead of feta. Still good but not the same. Next time will follow the recipe!
I’m not sure about this combo. Feta with tomatoes? Sounds weird!
I’m not good at hollering tomatoes (I mean cutting the tops lol). Mine looked kinda messy, but still yummy. Would recommend for a casual snack.
It’s just tomatoes and cheese, yawn… next!
I tried making this for a party, but the tomatoes were too small. They just fell apart and made a mess, ugh!
Eh, they didn’t turn out like the picture. I might be doing something wrong?
Super easy and quick! I did it in 15 min. So tasty with a glass of wine. Yum!
Easy peasy, I also used different herbs from my garden and they were yummy! 4 stars.
Honestly, I don’t think this recipe is that great. Stuffed tomatoes? Seems kinda basic to me. 🤷♂️
I’m glad you liked it! Fresh herbs really do make a difference. What types did you use?
Not gonna lie, I expected it to be bland but the black pepper helps. Also super quick—like 15 minutes. Nice for guests.
Totally agree—the black pepper really wakes it up. 15 minutes is perfect when you’ve got guests and nothing to stress about.
I tried this recipe but my tomatoes were too soft and fell apart. Sad face.
Oh no! That sucks! Maybe try using firmer tomatoes next time? They can make a big difference.
I used Mozzarella instead cause I had no feta. Still good but I’m sure it’s better with the feta.
These were a hit at our family gathering! So fresh and tasty! 🍅
These were a hit at the party! Everyone loved them. Definitely a keeper!
Really? I find stuffed tomatoes kinda basic. Maybe try adding some garlic or something to spice em up?
So glad to hear that! These are such a simple yet tasty appetizer. I’ll be trying them at my next gathering too!
I dunno, I thought it would be more flavorful. Needs something else, maybe garlic?
I agree! Garlic would definitely add an extra kick. Maybe even some onions too! 🧄
me no like feta. this 1 was bad for me.
Best appetizer ever! I can’t believe how good it tastes!
I tried it and it tasted a little too salty for me (feta varies). Next time I’ll mix in some yogurt or use less feta. Otherwise the method is solid.
Really simple but DELISH! You need to try this.
My kids didn’t like it, but I thought they were okay. Just not that filling.
Not filling? I mean, they’re just little tomatoes, right? How much can one expect? But I guess you could just add more feta?
My kids loved them! Maybe they just aren’t picky eaters like yours. I found them super filling with the feta in there.
These were a huge hit at my party! Simple and delicious!
I thought I was supposed to cook the tomatoes! Why are they raw? Not for me.
Yum yum! Also adds nice colors to the plate!
Super easy recipe, and perfect for summer parties. Will make again!
meh… I think it’s just tomatoes and feta. Like, good enough, but not special. Could’ve used something else like balsamic glaze.
Balsamic glaze sounds good but tomatoes are sweet already. I think it’s special bc it looks fancy and takes like 10 minutes 😅
I get what you mean, it’s simple—but that feta + oregano/pepper combo really lets the tomato taste shine. Balsamic glaze would be a fun upgrade though!
Disappointing—my feta wouldn’t mix right, kind of dry and clumpy. Maybe my oil was too little? I’ll try again with more olive oil.
Hm, yeah—if the feta felt dry/clumpy it’s probably the amount of oil or how finely it was crumbled. I usually mash the feta a bit first, then mix until it turns creamy. Also if your tomatoes were super dry inside, it won’t help much.
Maybe you used the wrong feta? Like “low fat” feta gets weird. Also 100g for 10 tomatoes sounds kinda little? But I guess it depends. Try a splash more olive oil and don’t over-crumble it.
Pretty tasty, but mine leaked a bit because my tomatoes were softer than I thought. Still, the flavor was great and I’d make them again with firmer ones.
Five stars! I served these at a party and they disappeared fast. My piping bag made it super neat.
