Caprese Balsamic Grilled Chicken is a delicious and elegant twist on a classic Italian salad, perfect for warm-weather meals. Juicy grilled chicken breasts are topped with ripe tomatoes, creamy fresh mozzarella, fragrant basil leaves, and a drizzle of tangy-sweet balsamic glaze. The combination of flavors is bright, savory, and satisfying—making this dish a standout on any summer menu. It’s both light and filling, offering a high-protein, low-carb option that feels indulgent without being heavy. Best of all, it’s easy to prepare and looks as impressive as it tastes, whether you’re serving it at a casual backyard meal or a dinner party.
Fire Up The Grill
Grilling has long been a favorite method of cooking, especially during the warmer months. It’s not just about the smoky flavor—it’s about the experience. Barbecues are social events that bring people together around the grill, creating memories over sizzling food and the aroma of charred marinades. Grilling also enhances the natural flavors of meat and vegetables, adding a depth that’s hard to replicate indoors. Whether you’re using a gas grill or cooking over charcoal, grilling adds a signature smokiness and beautiful sear that make simple dishes like Caprese Chicken shine.
Caprese and Chicken
Caprese Balsamic Grilled Chicken is ideal for grilling. The chicken breasts soak up the smoky flavor while staying juicy and tender. Once off the grill, they’re topped with classic Caprese ingredients—tomato, mozzarella, and basil—for a burst of fresh flavor. A balsamic glaze brings it all together with a slightly sweet, slightly tart finish that complements the smoky chicken beautifully. Serve it with grilled vegetables or a light salad, and you’ve got a balanced, restaurant-worthy meal made right at home. This dish captures the heart of summer cooking: fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing.

Do you really need fresh mozzarella? Can’t I just use the sliced cheese from the store? Asking for a friend.
I don’t get why everyone loves this. It was just alright for me. The grilled chicken is too plain.
Really easy to make! But I burnt the cheese 😩. Still tasted amazing tho!
This is sooo good! My family loved it! Will definitely make again.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It’s one of my favorites too! 😊
Meh, I’ve had better chicken. This didn’t wow me at all.
Exceptional recipe! I added some garlic powder for an extra kick and it worked wonders!
I dunno, adding garlic? Seems like it’s makin’ it a bit weird. Caprese supposed to be fresh.
Garlic powder? That’s a great idea! I’ll have to try that next time.
