Not bad, but could use more flavor. I added some hot sauce and that helped a lot.

This was a super easy breakfast! My kids loved it and I felt healthy making it. Will definitely make again!

  3. User avatar ramon.feest2021 says:

Why would u cook it so long? I only did 1 minute on each side and it was perfect! 5 stars!

    1. User avatar coleen.sawayn says:

      3 stars
I don’t know about 1 min, but that sounds risky! 😂 More cheese please!

    2. 4 stars
Cooking it longer makes them crunchier! I prefer a crispy quesadilla.

  4. User avatar carolynn.reynolds47 says:

    3 stars
I dunno if the spinach really adds anything. Next time, I might skip it.

  5. User avatar billie.daugherty90 says:

    2 stars
Not bad, but I didn’t get “melted and crispy” like the instructions say. I think my tortillas were too thick and the cheese didn’t fully melt.

  6. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

    2 stars
Y’all, I accidentally burnt mine. Make sure to watch it closely! 😂

    1. User avatar lauren.wilderman59 says:

      3 stars
I swear I followed the instructions, but my cheese never melted. Guess I need to watch it closely too! 🥴

    2. User avatar denny.morissette2000 says:

      4 stars
Haha, I did the same thing once! It turned out like a crispy frisbee. Be careful, these can burn fast! 😂

  7. User avatar dallas.monahan says:

Way too salty for my taste. I used pre-cooked turkey slices and shredded cheese that was pretty strong, so I’d recommend using low-sodium turkey or less cheese.

    1. 5 stars
Good point! The cheese (and sometimes the turkey) can be super salty depending on the brand. Next time I’ll try low-sodium turkey and maybe cut the cheese in half like you suggested.

  8. User avatar Falmer Shaman says:

    4 stars
Can you use regular tortillas instead of whole wheat? I hate the taste of those.

  9. User avatar Miss Vanita Jenkins says:

    5 stars
This is such a solid, quick breakfast. The turkey + spinach combo feels way lighter than classic quesadillas, and the cheese pull is perfect. I added a pinch of chili flakes and it was even better.

  10. User avatar nathaniel.cassin22 says:

    5 stars
Yum! Cheesy and satisfying! I added some hot sauce and it was 🔥!

  11. 3 stars
I tried medium heat like it says and mine got brown before the cheese fully melted. Maybe my pan runs hot—still tasty though.

  12. User avatar irwin.gorczany says:

    4 stars
My kids loved these! Super easy to make. Will definitely be making again! 😊

  13. User avatar aleta.weissnat says:

    5 stars
Love how quick this is in the morning. The turkey + spinach combo feels super filling, and the tortillas get nice and crispy when you give it the full 2-3 minutes per side.

  14. User avatar Feyd-Rautha Rabban says:

    5 stars
Tried this for breakfast and it actually felt like a real meal, not just “diet food.” The spinach + turkey combo is great, and the cheese gets perfectly melty.

  15. 3 stars
Not sure about using spinach. Can we use lettuce instead? Not everyone likes greens.

    1. 4 stars
I think spinach adds a great taste! But if you prefer lettuce, go for it. Just keep in mind it might be a bit soggy.🤷‍♀️

    2. 3 stars
Lettuce? Ehh, not the same. Spinach is way better for you. But do what ya like, I guess.

  16. 5 stars
This was so good!!! Easy to make and healthy too! I added some salsa on the side.

  17. 2 stars
Didnt really like it. Thought it could use more seasoning. Kind of bland. 2/5.

  18. User avatar zaida.mertz says:

    3 stars
Hmm, not sure about tortillas for breakfast. I usually stick to eggs. But I guess it’s good for some people?

    1. 4 stars
Breakfast is about what makes you happy! Eggs are great, but these quesadillas sound tasty too. Gotta mix it up sometimes!

  19. User avatar Yolande Dickens IV says:

    3 stars
Turkey slices were a bit dry for me, so I warmed them slightly before assembling. Also, 2-3 minutes each side felt short—mine needed closer to 4 to crisp.

  20. User avatar Flame Atronach says:

    5 stars
5/5 if you like simple food. I used shredded cheddar and it melted real nice. My only issue is I burned the first one a little—medium heat is key!

  21. User avatar karima.wilkinson2022 says:

    4 stars
My family loved it! Spinach, turkey, and cheese is way better than just plain old cheese quesadillas.

    1. User avatar Florentino Shields says:

      5 stars
Yum! I need to try this recipe. Everytime I make quesadillas, they turn out boring. Thanks for sharing!

  22. User avatar jerald.aufderhar says:

    2 stars
I dunno about spinach in a quesadilla… Seems weird to me. Maybe sticking to just cheese and turkey next time.

  23. User avatar dorie.klocko59 says:

    2 stars
Sounds healthy, but who wants turkey at breakfast? I’ll stick with eggs, thanks.

  24. User avatar season.emmerich13 says:

    3 stars
I don’t think turkey belongs in a quesadilla. Used chicken instead. Still came out good tho. 3/5.

  25. 2 stars
Not sure about this. Turkey in a quesadilla feels kinda bland to me, like it’s missing taco seasoning. Could be saved with a pinch of cumin or chili powder.

  26. User avatar donnie.conroy3 says:

    4 stars
I tried this with some leftover chicken instead of turkey, and it worked surprisingly well! Yum! 4 stars.

  27. User avatar chandra.beatty1994 says:

    1 star
What do u do with leftover turkey?? It’s not thanksgiving anymore lol.

  28. User avatar madlyn.mcglynn says:

    2 stars
1 tortilla? I mean like… you gotta press it more. Mine came out soggy. Maybe my skillet was not hot enough.

    1. 4 stars
I’ve done 1 tortilla before and it totally stayed soggy for me too 😅 The double-tortilla thing plus medium heat only works if the pan is preheated. Otherwise it’s like a quesadilla wrap.

    2. User avatar rich.landlord says:

      5 stars
Yeah, I think pressing + a hotter skillet makes a big difference. I cook mine closer to 4 min each side until it’s actually crisp, not just melty.

  29. User avatar waylon.krajcik2 says:

    4 stars
Really good, but I had to cook a bit longer than 2-3 minutes per side to get the tortillas properly crispy. Next time I’ll use medium-low so it melts without burning.

    1. 5 stars
Good point! I’ve noticed whole wheat tortillas can take a bit longer to crisp through—2-3 minutes is more like a minimum depending on heat and pan. Medium-low sounds like the move to melt the cheese without scorching. Thanks for the tip!

  30. User avatar sylvester.schaefer2003 says:

    2 stars
Meh. Turkey can get dry if it’s not deli-sliced that’s still juicy. I think chicken would be better. Also medium heat didn’t crisp mine much.

  31. User avatar georgie.brekke25 says:

    5 stars
Five stars! I added some salsa and it was like a breakfast taco situation. The spinach really cooks down and the cheese holds everything together.

    1. User avatar jorge.murazik says:

      5 stars
Nice! Salsa with a breakfast quesadilla is so good. I’ve been meaning to try this—spinach + cheese always works. What kind of salsa did you use (mild or spicy)?

  32. User avatar clement.hermiston1950 says:

    3 stars
I like the idea, but my spinach tasted kinda watery. Maybe I should squeeze it first? Still good though, especially with the cheese pull.

  33. User avatar pauline.ratke37 says:

    5 stars
This recipe is super easy and yummy! My kids loved it! Definitely making it again.

  34. 4 stars
Pretty good! I used mozzarella instead of whatever shredded cheese I had and it still worked. Next time I’d cook a tiny bit longer so the tortillas get crispier.

  35. User avatar bud.metz50 says:

    4 stars
I made it for meal prep and it actually reheats well. I added a little garlic powder and it tasted way better. 2-3 minutes each side felt about right on my stove.

  36. User avatar bart.ebert2025 says:

    3 stars
The ingredient list is solid, but next time I’ll add some garlic powder or chili flakes. It was a bit bland on its own.

  37. User avatar monroe.kessler1996 says:

    5 stars
This turned out sooo good—crispy edges and the turkey-spinach combo tastes super comforting. I used a little extra cheese and it was perfect.

    1. 4 stars
Sounds good but I’m not sure about cooking “2-3 minutes on each side” with turkey slices—mine might take longer depending on thickness. Still, I’ll try it and maybe cover the pan so the cheese melts faster 😅

    2. User avatar jane.wyman says:

      5 stars
Yes!! The crispy edges are the best part. I made this with leftover turkey too and it tasted so cozy—going into my weekend breakfast rotation.

  38. User avatar gaston.schimmel76 says:

    4 stars
I’m not a fan of turkey in breakfast stuff usually, but the combination with spinach and cheese surprised me. Simple and tasty.

    1. User avatar cary.mcclure says:

      5 stars
I totally get that—turkey breakfast can be hit or miss for me too. But spinach + cheese has that “makes it work” magic 😄 I’m definitely trying this—simple is my favorite kind.

  39. User avatar antony.koch74 says:

    2 stars
The cheese didn’t melt, and I followed the instructions. Disappointed. 😔

    1. User avatar tameika.monahan1970 says:

      3 stars
I had the same issue! I used low-fat cheese, maybe that’s why? 🤷‍♀️

    2. User avatar emanuel.botsford1965 says:

      4 stars
Did you use shredded cheese? That’s important! Try a different brand next time.

  40. 4 stars
    So easy. Tastes good. 10/10

    1. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

      3 stars
Hmm maybe I’m doing something wrong—mine got a little soggy. Still tasty though. Next time I’ll make sure the spinach is dry and cook it a bit longer.

    2. User avatar sherwood.hartmann says:

      5 stars
Yes! I made this for breakfast this week and it was seriously so quick. The spinach + turkey + cheese combo is perfect. 🔥

  41. 4 stars
Quick and simple! Made it in less than 10 minutes! Plus I’m trying to eat healthier, so this works.

  42. User avatar Liet-Kynes says:

    5 stars
This was super easy and delicious! My kids loved it. Will definitely make again!

    1. 5 stars
Glad you liked it! It’s so quick to make too. My kids enjoyed it as well! 🍽️

  43. User avatar li.schneider61 says:

    4 stars
I like the simplicity, but 2-3 minutes per side might be too fast depending on your stove. Mine needed closer to 5 minutes to actually crisp.

  44. User avatar nilda.lesch says:

    2 stars
Turkey in the morning? Sounds weird. I prefer bacon. But thanks for the recipe!

  45. User avatar brett.upton1993 says:

    1 star
Followed the recipe and it turned out terrible! The tortillas burnt and the cheese didn’t melt! Not impressed.

  46. User avatar smartestRedditor says:

    5 stars
This was delish! I added some salsa on top for extra flavor. 5 stars!

  47. User avatar frankie.kilback16 says:

    2 stars
I used frozen spinach and I think I forgot to thaw it. It cooked out water and made the tortilla kinda soft. Don’t do that.

    1. 5 stars
Oh no—yeah, frozen spinach can totally dump a bunch of water if it’s not thawed/squeezed. I usually thaw it and squeeze it dry before layering, otherwise you end up with soft tortillas like you said. Next time, thaw (and squeeze) and you’ll get way crispier results.

  48. User avatar loida.murray91 says:

    4 stars
I made this but forgot spinach, oops! Still tasted good though. LOL

  49. 3 stars
I tried it and the quesadilla fell apart when I cut it 😅 I think I didn’t let the cheese melt enough. Still tasted fine though.

  50. User avatar Galaxia Woonbeam says:

    2 stars
Tortillas burn too quick! I shoulda kept an eye on it. 😫

  51. User avatar debora.leffler0 says:

    4 stars
    This is easy. 10/10 😅

  52. User avatar Emily Saunders says:

    4 stars
Pretty tasty, but 2-3 minutes per side wasn’t enough for me—my tortillas weren’t crisp. I ended up cooking closer to 5 minutes total. Still a great easy meal though.

  53. User avatar rachele.denesik54 says:

    2 stars
Would’ve been better with sausage instead of turkey. Also spinach always shrinks a lot, so I ended up using more than 1 cup. Still, pretty tasty.

  54. User avatar sherron.graham says:

    2 stars
I tried it but my cheese didn’t melt in the middle—maybe my skillet was too hot? The outside got crispy fast but the inside stayed kinda cold.

    1. User avatar boris.mills24 says:

      5 stars
Sounds like the skillet was a bit too hot or the quesadilla was cooking too fast. Since the instructions say medium heat, I’d try medium-low and give it closer to 3–4 minutes per side. Also make sure the cheese is spread all over (not just in one layer) so the middle melts properly.

  55. User avatar Dr. Belinda Hauck says:

    2 stars
Not gonna lie, I’m skeptical about using whole wheat tortillas for crispiness—mine got soft. Flavor was good, but texture was off.

    1. User avatar wellRespected says:

      5 stars
Yeah, I get that—whole wheat can go soft if the pan isn’t hot enough or if the quesadilla sits too long. I’ve had better results by preheating the skillet a bit longer (medium-high), and pressing it gently with a spatula for the first minute. Also make sure you don’t overload it with spinach or it steams everything.

  56. User avatar Brianna Rodriguez PhD says:

    5 stars
This is so easy and delicious! I love the spinach in it. Made it for breakfast today, and I’m stuffed!

    1. User avatar janeth.greenfelder6 says:

      5 stars
Sounds yummy! I’m definitely trying this for brunch! 🌟

  57. 5 stars
This was super quick and actually filling. The spinach stayed nice and flavorful, and the cheese helped everything stick together. I’ll definitely make it again for busy mornings!

    1. 5 stars
Yes! “Busy mornings” is exactly what I was hoping for—quick but not sad. The spinach usually wilts weirdly for me, but I can see how it stays flavorful here with the cheese.

    2. 4 stars
I tried something similar, but mine came out a little soggy—maybe my skillet wasn’t hot enough. Still, the turkey + spinach + cheese combo sounds like a solid grab-and-go.

  58. User avatar avery.marks says:

    5 stars
    Five stars. So easy.

    1. User avatar Chaurus Hunter says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—these are so quick and the flavors just click. The crispy outside + melty cheese is the best part. ⭐️

    2. 4 stars
Easy, yeah… I just wish it said how hot “medium” should be. Mine browned a little too fast, but still tasty. Next time I’ll go gentler.

  59. User avatar Beregond says:

    4 stars
I think you should add more turkey or maybe some beans? Feels a little light for breakfast.

    1. 4 stars
I totally get what you mean! A little more turkey would make it heartier. Maybe I’ll give it a try with some beans next time!

    2. User avatar jenise.rippin2023 says:

      2 stars
Beans? In a quesadilla? That sounds weird. Just stick to the recipe, it’s fine as is.

  60. User avatar Fermina Cormier says:

    2 stars
I tried this but forgot the cheese on one side (oops). Still, it tasted okay, but I get why the recipe says shredded cheese—without it, it falls apart.

  61. User avatar kary.gottlieb says:

    5 stars
This is such a solid quick breakfast. The 2-3 minutes per side tip is exactly what I needed—mine came out crispy and melty.

  62. User avatar jude.ziemann12 says:

    5 stars
This recipe is a game changer! I’ve made it twice this week already. So simple and yummy!

    1. 3 stars
I tried this and it was alright, but I think it needed more seasoning. Anyone else feel that way?

  63. User avatar susy.skiles13 says:

    3 stars
This was okayyy, but I thought it would be more filling. Idk if I’ll make it again.

  64. User avatar hollis.gleichner45 says:

    3 stars
Seems kinda plain? Like I followed it, but it needed salsa or something. Also the instructions say “carefully transfer” like it’s a whole process lol. Would make again though.

  65. 3 stars
Quesadillas are just weird tacos. But this recipe is ok. Would eat again, maybe?

  66. 1 star
Tortillas too soggy when done. How do u make crispy? 1 star.

  67. User avatar Charles Darwin says:

    3 stars
The instructions are super straightforward, but I think 1 cup spinach might be too much if it’s not packed down—my filling spilled a bit. Still tasty though.

    1. User avatar malik.orn57 says:

      5 stars
Good call on the spinach! If it’s not packed, 1 cup can be kind of bulky and make the filling shift. Next time I’d try squeezing it dry or just use a bit less so it stays put—glad it was still tasty though!

  68. User avatar gustavo.robel10 says:

    1 star
Spinach is not a breakfast food! Who eats that in the morning? 1/5.

    1. 5 stars
I disagree! Spinach is super healthy and can totally be a breakfast food. This sounds delicious! 5/5.

    2. User avatar jeanette.bednar0 says:

      3 stars
I’ve never seen spinach for breakfast either, but I guess it’s worth a try? Sounds a bit weird tho. 3/5.

  69. 4 stars
Yum. Spinach is good for you, right? I can eat this every day!

  70. User avatar xavier.bradtke1950 says:

    4 stars
OMG, I’m gonna try this on the weekend! Quesadillas are bomb. 🥳

  71. 2 stars
I tried it but my cheese didn’t fully melt in the middle. Maybe my skillet wasn’t hot enough or I cooked too fast—still tasted okay though.

    1. User avatar elias.jenkins2025 says:

      5 stars
Yeah, that usually happens if the skillet’s not hot enough—2-3 minutes can be a little short depending on your stove. Next time, try medium-high and cover the pan for a minute so the cheese melts in the middle. Also shredding the cheese finer helps.

  72. 3 stars
Turkey slices are kinda dry sometimes. I warmed mine with a drizzle of olive oil and it helped a lot. Otherwise it’s decent.

    1. User avatar ArabianNights says:

      3 stars
Hmm mine never comes out dry—maybe you’re overcooking it? I usually only do like 1-2 min per side on medium-low so the cheese melts but the tortillas don’t get too crispy. Also, are you using deli turkey or leftovers?

    2. 5 stars
Totally agree—turkey can get dry quick. I do the same thing with a tiny drizzle of olive oil (or even a little butter) before reheating, and it keeps it way more tender. Glad it worked for you!

  73. User avatar earleen.krajcik59 says:

    3 stars
I tried this but forgot to add cheese. It was kind of boring. Maybe I need more turkey next time?

  74. User avatar larue.bosco65 says:

    5 stars
Just tried it! OMG, my mouth is happy 😋. So cheesy and crunchy!

  75. User avatar elvie.heathcote75 says:

    5 stars
This is such a solid quick breakfast. The turkey + spinach + cheese combo melts together nicely, and the tortillas get perfectly crispy after a couple minutes per side.

  76. User avatar denis.sanford says:

    4 stars
Made it for my commute-morning—actually surprisingly fast. I’d add a pinch of garlic powder next time, but overall really tasty and crispy.

  77. User avatar kevin.barton97 says:

    3 stars
My husband doesn’t like spinach. So I skipped it. Still good! 😜 3 stars.

    1. User avatar ida.okuneva1970 says:

      5 stars
You can totally skip the spinach! My kids hate it too, and they love it when I make it without! Great idea! 😊

    2. 2 stars
But isn’t spinach good for you? I don’t get why you’d skip it. Seems weird to me. 🤷‍♂️

  78. User avatar paris.goldner46 says:

    5 stars
This is such a solid quick breakfast. The turkey + spinach combo feels filling without being heavy. I used mozzarella and it melted perfectly in 2 minutes per side.

  79. 4 stars
Pretty good and easy cleanup. I only wish it gave timing for medium-high heat—my first one burned before the cheese melted… so yeah, watch your skillet!

  80. User avatar errol.jenkins54 says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but it felt a little bland for me. Next time I’ll add salsa or some hot sauce because eating plain tortillas is kinda sad 😅

    1. User avatar Cave Bear says:

      4 stars
Yeah I’d agree. I made these once and they were kinda dry/blah. Might be the turkey slices—next time I’m gonna use more spinach or add taco seasoning or hot sauce like you said.

    2. User avatar agatha.schulist1976 says:

      5 stars
Totally get you—plain tortillas can be rough 😄 I’ve started adding salsa *and* a pinch of cumin, and it makes a big difference.

  81. User avatar felicidad.steuber2015 says:

    5 stars
Turkey + spinach + cheese in a tortilla? Love the idea. I’d probably use mozzarella next time for extra stretch.

  82. User avatar marlena.schinner says:

    3 stars
I don’t know, it seems kinda bland. Maybe add some spice next time?

  83. 4 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about spinach in the morning, but it worked. Next time I’ll squeeze the spinach a bit first so it doesn’t get watery.

  84. User avatar emerson.corwin21 says:

    5 stars
Quick breakfast idea! I made these for my kids and they gobbled it up in no time! Definitely making again.

  85. User avatar Koume and Kotake says:

Hated it! Who puts spinach in a quesadilla? Not a fan at all…

  86. User avatar gerardo.ryan46 says:

Easy peasy! I like it, but adding some eggs next time for more protein. 4!

    1. User avatar judson.berge says:

Eggs sound great! I bet that’ll make it even tastier. Thanks for the tip!

  87. User avatar Super Saiyan Gohan says:

I made it with turkey slices from the deli and added a pinch of garlic powder. Super tasty, but I wish the spinach had been cooked down a bit first so it wasn’t too wet.

This is such a solid quick breakfast. The turkey + spinach + cheese combo feels really filling without being heavy. Crispy tortillas every time if you don’t rush the flipping!

Pretty good—though I added a pinch of garlic powder and it helped a lot. I wish the recipe mentioned whether to thaw the turkey slices, but it still worked fine.

I liked it, but I think 2–3 minutes might depend on your stove. Mine took closer to 4 minutes to get that crispy outside, though the inside was still great.

i dont get why you need 2 tortillas? One would be fine and less messy lol. Still turned out okay though.

I made this for meal prep—cut into wedges and reheat in a pan so they stay crunchy. Honestly, I’d eat this every morning.

Pretty good. But I added a lil bit of hot sauce to kick it up. Yum! 🌶️

Sounds good, but isn’t turkey for breakfast kinda weird? Just saying.

Healthy and easy but I used corn tortillas and that was a mistake. They fell apart! 🤦‍♂️

Pretty good for a no-fuss breakfast. I’m giving it 4 stars because it actually filled me up. My kid even ate it which is rare lol.

Meh. Whole wheat tortillas make it taste kind of dry to me unless you use more cheese. Also, spinach always releases water so I cooked mine a little longer.

Not bad at all. Kinda like a healthy breakfast taco situation. Would work great with salsa or hot sauce.

I like the idea but mine came out a little soggy… maybe my skillet wasn’t hot enough. Also I think my turkey slices were too thick.
