Summer Pizza

July 30, 2024

There’s nothing quite like enjoying a delicious pizza on a sunny summer day. A refreshing summer pizza takes advantage of the vibrant, fresh ingredients that are in season, bringing bright flavors and light textures together in every bite. It’s a perfect dish to enjoy on a warm afternoon with friends and family or to make the most of fresh produce from the garden or local farmers’ market.

What makes summer pizza stand out is its focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients that offer both flavor and a sense of lightness. Instead of the heavier, traditional pizza toppings, a summer pizza typically features ingredients like ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, and creamy mozzarella cheese. You can add seasonal fruits like peaches or figs for a sweet twist, or pile on a variety of colorful veggies such as bell peppers, zucchini, and arugula for added freshness.

The crust is just as important as the toppings. A light, crispy thin crust provides the perfect base without overpowering the toppings, allowing the fresh ingredients to shine. You can even opt for a cauliflower or whole grain crust for a healthier twist. A drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt before baking helps to bring out the natural flavors of the toppings.
For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a tangy balsamic glaze or a few dollops of pesto after the pizza comes out of the oven. These finishes not only add depth to the taste but also give the pizza a glossy, appealing look.

Summer pizzas are incredibly versatile. Whether you’re a fan of classic Margherita with fresh basil and mozzarella or prefer experimenting with more adventurous combinations like grilled vegetables and goat cheese, there’s no wrong way to enjoy a summer pizza. It’s all about embracing the freshness of the season and creating a dish that’s light, flavorful, and full of vibrant colors.
Perfect for a casual get-together, a weekend dinner, or a fun night in, summer pizza is a way to enjoy the flavors of the season while keeping the meal light and satisfying.

This was super fresh and light—especially with the zucchini. I used store-bought dough and it still came out great. Would definitely make again!

    1. User avatar salvatore.tremblay65 says:

      5 stars
Yes! That zucchini-on-top combo sounds so fresh and not heavy at all. I love that you used store-bought dough too—good to know it still works great.

    2. User avatar connie.turner21 says:

      3 stars
Store-bought dough usually gets soggy for me, so I’m surprised it came out light. Did you drain the zucchini at all or just slice and go? 10 minutes feels kinda fast too—maybe my oven runs hot.

  2. User avatar ShanksOnePiece says:

    1 star
Waste of time! Dough was too thick and the zucchini was weird. Never again.

    1. User avatar Manuel Labor says:

      4 stars
I had a different experience! The zucchini added a great freshness for me. Maybe you rolled the dough too thick? Give it another try, it’s worth it!

  3. User avatar hans.oreilly47 says:

    3 stars
Ok I’m confused—“1/4 cup tomato sauce” on a full pizza dough seems kinda light? I added extra sauce and it was way better.

    1. User avatar manuel.huels82 says:

      4 stars
Huh, I followed it exactly and it was perfect for me—maybe your dough was bigger/thicker? If the crust is browning but it feels dry, extra sauce would fix it.

    2. User avatar isidra.ritchie2003 says:

      5 stars
Totally get the confusion—1/4 cup on a full dough *can* feel light. I usually eyeball it too, and more sauce definitely helps the pizza taste richer.

  4. User avatar smartestRedditor says:

    5 stars
This pizza is a game changer! Super fresh and tasty. I added some olives and it was perfect! 5 stars!

  5. User avatar cecilia.oberbrunner47 says:

    2 stars
Pfft, pizza without pepperoni? No thanks! Not for me.

  6. 2 stars
Meh. I followed it exactly and it tasted a little bland—probably not enough salt/pepper. Add more seasoning and it’ll be better.

  7. User avatar kenton.ferry75 says:

    5 stars
This is such a bright, summery pizza—zucchini + cherry tomatoes on top of the mozzarella is a great combo. I used homemade dough and it browned perfectly at 475°F. The basil at the end is the finishing touch.

  8. User avatar marquerite.feest says:

    5 stars
    Lol basil on top—chef’s kiss.

    1. User avatar reva.bailey says:

      5 stars
Right?! Fresh basil at the end makes it taste like you tried harder than you did 😂

  9. User avatar clark.lakin says:

    5 stars
Yum, this is gonna be a staple in my summer meals! So fresh and tasty!

  10. User avatar courtney.quitzon71 says:

    4 stars
The instructions are clear, but I’m confused about ‘1 piece pizza dough’—like do you mean one sheet? Still, it turned out tasty.

    1. User avatar bart.donnelly77 says:

      5 stars
I’ve always used “1 piece of pizza dough” to mean one ball/portion—like whatever size your store-bought dough comes in. I think you’re right to wonder about sheet size though 😄

  11. User avatar leslie.pacocha65 says:

    3 stars
I love the flavor combo, but my zucchini released a lot of water and the crust was a little soggy. Next time I’ll salt the slices first.

  12. 5 stars
So simple and good! Might be my new go-to recipe!

    1. User avatar elyse.osinski says:

      3 stars
Seems easy, but can you really trust store-bought dough?

    2. User avatar Mrs. Coralee Lind says:

      5 stars
I totally agree! This pizza is super quick to make and tastes delicious.

  13. 5 stars
This is such a fresh idea—zucchini + cherry tomatoes on pizza is perfect for summer. The 475°F timing worked great for me and the crust got nicely golden.

  14. 2 stars
Way too much liquid from the zucchini for my oven—mine turned watery after 10 minutes. I’d salt the zucchini first and pat it dry next time.

  15. User avatar roberto.mitchell says:

    2 stars
I don’t trust store-bought dough for pizza, so I used homemade. Worked out, but honestly the sauce to cheese ratio felt a little light—would add more mozzarella next time.

  16. User avatar sherman.beier19 says:

    5 stars
OMG this is so good! I never thought to put zucchini on pizza, but it works! Definitely making this again! 5/5!

  17. User avatar lakiesha.herzog46 says:

    3 stars
This is fine, but 475°F seems kinda high for 10 minutes unless your oven runs hot. I baked mine a little longer and it finally browned. Flavor’s good though.

    1. 5 stars
I agree—475°F can vary a lot. Mine also takes like 12-15 minutes before it even starts browning, but the cheese bubbles around 10 for me. Glad the flavor came through!

    2. User avatar kyla.hill1969 says:

      4 stars
Nah 475 is perfect if you want a crisp crust. 10 min is enough for thin dough… thicker dough tho needs longer. Also I leave it on the middle rack and my oven is pretty normal.

  18. 2 stars
I dont think zucchini belongs on pizza… not for me. I prefer a meat lovers pizza instead. 2 stars.

  19. User avatar Spriggan Earth Mother says:

    3 stars
I tried it but my zucchini released a lot of water and the crust got a bit soggy. Still tasty, just not the texture I hoped. Next time I’ll salt the zucchini slices first and pat them dry.

  20. 2 stars
I thought pizza dough was supposed to be fluffy? Mine came out flat.

  21. User avatar shayne.upton21 says:

    3 stars
Ok so I followed it exactly, except I ran out of basil 😅 I used dried instead and it tasted meh. With fresh basil I bet it slaps.

  22. User avatar Alva Tillman says:

    5 stars
Made this for lunch and it was super fresh—especially with the basil at the end. I used homemade dough and 10 minutes was perfect; the crust got nice and golden. Would absolutely make again!

  23. User avatar ShanksOnePiece says:

    2 stars
Could’ve used more mozzarella. I’m a cheese person lol. Still tasty, just felt a little skimpy on the melt.

  24. User avatar kristofer.ondricka88 says:

    5 stars
I used homemade tomato sauce and it tasted like a little pizza from a cafe. The olive oil + basil combo is underrated.

    1. 5 stars
Yes! Homemade sauce really makes it feel like a restaurant pie. And I swear the basil + olive oil finishes it perfectly.

    2. User avatar jenniffer.bergstrom12 says:

      4 stars
Not gonna lie, I tried something similar but my zucchini got kinda watery—still good though. Maybe I need thinner slices or less time in the oven? Pizza cafe vibes sounds awesome.

  25. User avatar Dominic Vernius says:

    3 stars
This was okay, but I think it needs more flavor. Maybe add some garlic or something? 🤷‍♂️

    1. User avatar anonymous_hacker says:

      2 stars
Eh, I thought it was fine. Sometimes simple is better, ya know?

    2. User avatar jay.hermiston85 says:

      5 stars
I totally agree! Garlic would add so much more depth to it. Maybe even some oregano too!

  26. User avatar katia.lind34 says:

    1 star
Total waste of ingredients! My kids didn’t even touch it. Never making this again!

  27. User avatar jarvis.hessel says:

    3 stars
Oof, 475°F for 10 min felt too fast. Mine barely bubbled and the dough was pale, so I had to bake longer. Not bad—just timing needs adjusting based on your oven.

  28. User avatar kyle.oconner says:

    3 stars
This is a nice idea, but my zucchini got a little watery in the oven. I think I should salt/squeeze it first. Flavor is still good though.

  29. 4 stars
Love the combo of zucchini + cherry tomatoes. I’m not usually a “pizza for veggies” person but this won me over. Very bright and light.

  30. User avatar Effrafax of Wug says:

    4 stars
Really liked the flavor combo. Zucchini + cherry tomatoes makes it feel light, not heavy like some pizzas. I might use a little more cheese next time though because I like it extra melty.

    1. User avatar Gail Andrews says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—zucchini + cherry tomatoes really does make it feel lighter. I did add a bit more cheese and it was way melty, like you said. Next time I’m also going to try extra basil at the end.

    2. User avatar Mrs. Brice Jones says:

      4 stars
Hmm I liked it too but the zucchini can get watery for me. I’ve been patting the slices dry and baking a few minutes before adding tomatoes/cheese. Also 10 minutes might be a little short at my oven—maybe 12?

  31. User avatar laurence.krajcik says:

    5 stars
Okay this is honestly perfect summer pizza. Basil on top at the end is the move. I could eat this every week.

    1. User avatar deandre.dicki says:

      5 stars
Yes!! Basil at the end really changes the whole thing. I did this with fresh garden basil and it smelled amazing.

    2. User avatar zane.brown1958 says:

      4 stars
Sounds good, but 10 minutes at 475°F seems kinda short for me—my crust never gets golden by then. I’d probably do 12-15 and maybe broil at the end.

  32. User avatar Lanita Walsh says:

    4 stars
I like the simple ingredient list, but 10 minutes at 475°F felt a bit short for my oven—cheese wasn’t fully browned. Next time I’ll add 3-5 minutes.

    1. User avatar troy.legros says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—ovens vary so much. I usually add 3-5 minutes too, and the cheese browns way better. Your tweak sounds spot-on!

    2. User avatar faustino.weimann says:

      4 stars
Huh, I always do 10 min and mine comes out fine—maybe your oven runs cool? Try preheating longer or using a pizza stone. Also thin zucchini helps so it doesn’t steam.

  33. User avatar ArabianNights says:

    4 stars
This is pretty easy! I like that it’s not complicated, and it looks fancy. Def making again for friends.

  34. User avatar jamaal.larkin says:

    3 stars
It’s okay, but I think it needs more cheese. My family didn’t like it much. 😕 3 stars.

  35. User avatar melia.kiehn says:

    3 stars
Pretty easy recipe, but my crust burnt a bit. Maybe my oven is too hot? Overall it’s good, I’ll try again. 3 stars.

  36. 3 stars
Not bad! But 1/4 cup sauce for a whole pizza dough piece feels a little light unless your dough is super thin. I ended up adding more sauce.

  37. User avatar Miles Teg says:

    2 stars
Why only mozzarella? Feels incomplete. I think adding some parmesan or ricotta would make it way richer. Still, I’ll probably try that next time.

    1. User avatar greg.runolfsdottir says:

      3 stars
I dunno… if you add ricotta it gets watery and soggy, right? Mozzarella alone has enough going on. Maybe just more cheese instead of extra kinds. Or like, sprinkle parmesan at the end?

    2. 5 stars
Good point! Mozzarella is classic for that stretchy melt, but a little parmesan (or a dot of ricotta) on top would definitely add more depth and richness. I’ll try it next bake.

  38. 4 stars
I’m skeptical about putting sliced zucchini directly on cheese—felt like it would burn. Surprisingly it didn’t, so props!

  39. User avatar toshiko.champlin says:

    3 stars
The crust burned a little… Maybe my oven is too hot? But still munchable.

  40. User avatar Hillman Hunter says:

    4 stars
Way better than I expected from a store-bought dough. I added a little extra pepper and it was still balanced. Next time I might broil 1 minute for more browning.

    1. User avatar rosaura.kovacek96 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—store-bought dough can surprise you. I also like adding a bit more pepper, it really wakes everything up.

  41. User avatar theda.feeney says:

    4 stars
Basil was my fave part, but can I use spinach instead? 🤔

  42. User avatar usha.simonis23 says:

    5 stars
This pizza was delicious! The flavors popped and my family loved it!

    1. User avatar kelvin.jacobi39 says:

      5 stars
I’m so glad you loved it! The fresh basil really makes a difference, don’t you think? 😊

  43. User avatar basilia.greenholt says:

    3 stars
My crust got a bit soggy, I think because my zucchini was too thick and had extra moisture. Still tasty, just not the crisp I wanted. Any tips for patting zucchini dry?

    1. User avatar charles.murphy says:

      4 stars
Maybe you baked it a little too hot/long? Idk… I just squeeze my zucchini with my hands after slicing and it usually stops the soggy. But your dough might need extra preheat too—like warm the pan/stone before putting it on. Also if your slices are thick, they’ll steam more than roast. Thin all the way!

    2. User avatar Spriggan Matron says:

      5 stars
Ugh, that sounds familiar—zucchini is basically a water balloon. I slice it thin, then lay it on paper towels and press another paper towel on top for a few minutes. If it’s still wet, I’ll even pat twice or let it sit uncovered in the fridge for like 15 minutes. Also try salting the slices lightly for 5 minutes, then blot again before topping—less moisture = crispier crust.

  44. User avatar cody.braun21 says:

    3 stars
I tried it but my zucchini released a bunch of water, so the bottom crust got a bit soggy. Next time I’ll salt the zucchini slices for a few minutes first. Flavor was still good though.

  45. User avatar lakesha.goodwin79 says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I forgot the basil at the end (facepalm). Even without it, it was good—kinda like a veggie flatbread vibe. Next time I won’t mess up the finish 😂

  46. 5 stars
Just made this—super fresh vibe. The zucchini gives it that light summer taste without feeling heavy. 10 minutes was spot on for my oven!

  47. User avatar Spider Guardian says:

    4 stars
I only had regular mozzarella, not shredded, so I sliced it thin. Worked out, but I think shredded would melt more evenly.

    1. 3 stars
Honestly 10 minutes at 475 is kinda short… my zucchini always releases a lot of water and it gets soggy even with shredded cheese. I’d rather broil it at the end for crisping. But good to know sliced mozzarella can still work.

    2. User avatar Restless Draugr says:

      4 stars
Glad it still worked! I totally agree—shredded mozzarella usually melts more evenly and gives that smoother cheese layer. Thin slices can be tasty too though. Next time you could try tossing the mozzarella slices in a pinch of flour/cornstarch for less pooling (only if you want).

  48. User avatar krista.buckridge says:

    4 stars
I’m skeptical of pizza with zucchini like it’s a veggie flatbread… but wow, it works. The olive oil and pepper make it pop.

  49. User avatar Paul "Muad'Dib" "Usul" Atreides says:

    4 stars
Very good, but I added some sliced pepperoni just for fun. Best of both worlds!

    1. User avatar alejandro.christiansen says:

      5 stars
Sounds delicious! I never thought of adding pepperoni to a veggie pizza. Might try that next time!

    2. User avatar herb.fisher65 says:

      3 stars
Pepperoni? Really? That kinda defeats the whole summer vibe. Just saying…

  50. User avatar Leonor O'Kon says:

    5 stars
This was surprisingly good for a quick summer pie. The zucchini made it feel fresh without being soggy, and the basil at the end was perfect.

    1. User avatar roosevelt.hoppe says:

      3 stars
I tried it but my zucchini got kinda watery, I think I sliced too thick. Still tasted good though. Maybe bake it longer? Also I used like half the mozzarella because I was out 😅

    2. User avatar gaston.spencer says:

      5 stars
Yes!! I made this with thin zucchini slices too and it stayed nice—definitely not soggy. The basil at the end makes it taste like you actually tried 😂

  51. User avatar arla.windler says:

    4 stars
Easy to make and super fresh. I added some bell peppers too.

  52. User avatar phil.mclaughlin says:

    3 stars
I’m not sure 1/4 cup sauce is enough—my crust was a bit dry. Would probably add a little more sauce next time.

  53. User avatar hank.schimmel80 says:

    4 stars
I used store-bought dough and it still turned out great. Next time I’ll add a pinch of garlic powder because I like more punch, but overall delicious.

  54. User avatar ryan.schowalter97 says:

    4 stars
Easy recipe! I used premade dough and it turned out great. Love the fresh basil touch!

  55. 4 stars
I think 1 zucchini is too little? Like it looked okay but I wanted more topping. If you love veggies, double it.

  56. 3 stars
475°F is intense lol. My crust browned fast, but the toppings needed a touch longer. I’d drop to 450°F for 12 min maybe.

  57. User avatar april.jacobs67 says:

    5 stars
Delicious! I never thought summer veggies would taste so good on pizza! Will make again.

  58. User avatar ShanksOnePiece says:

    3 stars
I’m not sure about zucchini on pizza… tried it but I think I prefer pepperoni.

    1. 2 stars
Nah man, pepperoni is the best! Why mess with veggies when there’s meat? Pizza should be meaty, not green!

    2. 4 stars
I used to think that too! But zucchini adds a nice texture. Have you tried it with some feta cheese? That might change your mind!

  59. User avatar nolan.cronin51 says:

    3 stars
Not bad but 475°F felt kinda aggressive for 10 minutes. My crust was pale and the cheese wasn’t as bubbly as I wanted. Maybe my oven runs cool.

  60. User avatar ermelinda.damore says:

    3 stars
3 stars only because I burned the edges on 475°F. Maybe my oven runs hot. Flavor was good though, especially the cheese.

  61. User avatar solomon.gorczany1979 says:

    3 stars
It came out kinda soggy for me, maybe my zucchini slices were too thick. But I ate it anyway, so yeah, pretty good 😅

    1. User avatar Miss Alphonso Hamill says:

      3 stars
Soggy pizza is the worst 😅 I think 10 minutes might be too short at 475°F depending on thickness. Next time I’d bake it 2–4 min longer or lay the zucchini in a single layer—also don’t crowd the toppings.

    2. User avatar perry.gulgowski says:

      5 stars
Oh that makes sense—zucchini can get really watery. If you slice thinner (or even quick-salt and pat dry), it usually helps a lot. Still glad you ate it anyway 😄

  62. User avatar ami.simonis35 says:

    4 stars
I used store-bought dough and it still tasted homemade. Next time I’ll slice the zucchini a bit thinner so it cooks evenly, but overall really solid.

  63. User avatar jamaal.fadel says:

    4 stars
Really easy and fast, and it doesn’t taste “healthified” at all. I added a pinch of garlic powder because why not, and it still came out great. Would make again for sure.

  64. 2 stars
Why do you need to preheat oven? Just cook it longer if it’s not hot enough right? 😅

  65. User avatar Lauryn Rolfson IV says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I thought it would be bland with just sauce, cheese, zucchini, and tomatoes. But the olive oil + black pepper really helps. Also, fresh basil at the end—wow.

  66. User avatar whitney.koch says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but my zucchini got a little watery. I think I should’ve patted it dry first or salted it before baking. Flavor is still good though.

  67. User avatar oPandariaNo says:

    4 stars
Summer pizza!? It’s fall! Shouldn’t we switch to pumpkin?

    1. User avatar sammy.prohaska says:

      3 stars
Pumpkin pizza is a thing! But I think summer pizza can be enjoyed all year. Maybe try adding some pumpkin on top? Lol.

    2. User avatar delsie.simonis says:

      4 stars
I get what you’re saying, but summer flavors are still great anytime! Plus, pizza is a classic. 🍕

  68. User avatar tamie.schneider2018 says:

    5 stars
This came out so fresh and summery. The zucchini laid perfectly and the basil at the end really made it pop. I’d make this again for sure!

  69. User avatar Miss Lani Hudson says:

    5 stars
Yesss. Olive oil + fresh basil = restaurant vibes. I added chili flakes too and it became my new go-to summer dinner.

  70. User avatar narcisa.boyle says:

    4 stars
I’m skeptical about putting zucchini on pizza without roasting it first… but wow, it actually worked. The olive oil drizzle really helped. I used store-bought sauce and it still tasted legit.

  71. User avatar Hotblack Desiato says:

    5 stars
Yum 😋 baked cheese + basil is the best. I might switch mozzarella for a mix next time.

    1. User avatar Mad Batter says:

      3 stars
Interesting idea. I tried “mix cheese” once and it kinda turned greasy for me, but maybe if you use less oil? Either way, zucchini + cherry tomatoes sounds really good!

    2. User avatar Delena Brekke says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—basil on baked cheese is the best combo. I’ve done a little extra mozzarella and it still comes out great 😋

  72. User avatar Draugr Death Overlord says:

    4 stars
Zucchini on pizza sounds kinda weird to me, but it actually worked. It felt light and summery, not heavy like pepperoni.

  73. 4 stars
I used store-bought dough and it came out pretty great. Next time I’d slice the zucchini even thinner so it cooks faster—still, super tasty.

  74. 2 stars
Quick question: is “1 piece pizza dough” like a whole package? I guessed and it turned out fine, but the measurement is vague.

  75. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

    3 stars
I didn’t have fresh basil, used dried… still good but not the same. Lol.

    1. User avatar katelynn.schultz7 says:

      3 stars
But fresh basil makes a big difference! Maybe try it next time?

    2. User avatar herbert.hyatt1953 says:

Dried basil is still good! I do it all the time. Gotta make do with what ya got!

  76. User avatar Feral Falmer says:

    3 stars
Tasty, but my zucchini got a bit watery after baking. I think I sliced them too thick—15 minutes might’ve helped too. Still good though.

Yeah, watery zucchini happens—thin slices + high heat help, but 10 minutes can be a little short depending on how wet your zucchini is. Next time I’d salt the slices for 5–10 min, pat dry, and bake closer to 12–15 min (or add a bit more cheese as a barrier).

Not sure if cherry tomatoes work, kinda watery. I’d also put some more cheese.

Basil made it taste fancy! ☺️

So simple and fresh! I used store-bought dough and regular tomato sauce—still tasted like summer. Definitely making again.

Can we talk about the bake time? 10 minutes at 475°F felt too short for my oven. The cheese was bubbly, but the crust wasn’t as golden as I wanted. Still tasty, just needed a couple extra minutes.

My crust was pale, maybe my dough was thicker. Also I forgot the basil and it still tasted good but not as bright.

Not bad, but 10 minutes at 475°F feels short for my oven. I had to bake closer to 14 minutes to get it properly bubbly.

Simple, fast, and honestly kinda gourmet. Fresh basil at the end is a must. Would add a pinch of chili flakes too.

The basil at the end is the move. It smells like a fancy pizza shop. 10/10 would recommend to anyone hungry and lazy (me).

Totally agree—the fresh basil at the end really makes it taste like you actually tried 😄 The smell alone is enough to convince me.

Not to be that person but “1/4 cup tomato sauce” seems like too little for a whole dough piece. Mine was drier than expected. Otherwise fine.

Confession: I forgot to drizzle the olive oil until after baking… and somehow it still tasted okay? But I think following it would be better.

Meh. I followed the steps but it didn’t really wow me. The veggies were nice, but I think it needs more seasoning—like maybe more salt or some oregano. Also I only had normal olive oil not extra virgin (oops).

The basil on top at the end is key. Smelled amazing right when it came out of the oven. 10/10 summer vibes.

Tried this last night—so good. The zucchini makes it feel super fresh, and the 10 minutes worked perfectly for a golden crust + bubbly cheese. I added a little garlic powder too, because why not.

Glad it worked for you! The zucchini really does make it feel lighter—never thought to add garlic powder though, that sounds like a great tweak.

    Bland. Add garlic? 😅

Bland?? I follow the steps and it’s good. Maybe you didn’t salt enough? Also zucchini can be watery so cook it longer. Garlic might make it too strong though 😅

Totally—garlic would help a lot. Even a little minced garlic in the sauce or sprinkled on top before baking would boost it. 😋

This turned out way better than I expected—crispy crust and the zucchini gets all jammy. I added a pinch of chili flakes too and it was perfect.

Really liked the combo of zucchini + cherry tomatoes. Next time I’ll slice the zucchini even thinner so it cooks down more. Also wished I had more basil—fresh smell was awesome.

The instructions are simple, but my mozzarella didn’t get very bubbly after 10 minutes. Maybe my oven runs cool? Flavor was still nice.

Yesss! Tastes like summer in the oven. I didn’t have fresh basil so I used dried—still kinda good. Would make again.

The instructions are easy, but 475°F feels kinda high for me. Mine browned fast—cheese was bubbly but crust was a bit too dark. I’d lower temp to 450°F next time.
