Delicious and refreshing Summer Pizza that combines fresh seasonal ingredients perfect for a sunny day.
Ingredients
- 1 piece pizza dough store-bought or homemade
- 1/4 cup Tomato sauce fresh or store-bought
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 zucchini small, thinly sliced
- 5 pieces cherry tomatoes halved
- 1 handful Basil leaves fresh
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- To taste salt
- To taste black pepper freshly ground
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange the zucchini slices and cherry tomato halves on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves. Serve immediately.
