A refreshing and delicious strawberry sorbet that’s perfect for a hot day. Simple to make with fresh strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 1 lb strawberries hulled and sliced, fresh
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar has completely dissolved to form a simple syrup. Let it cool.
- Place strawberries and lemon juice in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Add the cooled simple syrup to the strawberry mixture and blend until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
