Grilled Beef and Broccoli Salad
A delicious and healthy salad made with grilled beef and fresh broccoli.
Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin steak sliced
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
- Season the beef slices with salt and pepper, then brush with the soy sauce mixture.
- Grill the beef for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove beef from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, steam broccoli florets until crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Slice the grilled beef into thin strips.
- In a large bowl, combine the grilled beef, steamed broccoli, chopped green onions, and chopped peanuts.
- Drizzle the remaining soy sauce mixture over the salad and toss to combine.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
