Grapes and Almond Butter Dip

February 20, 2024

Grapes and almond butter dip are a quick, delicious, and healthy snack that pairs the natural sweetness of grapes with the rich, creamy texture of almond butter. It’s the perfect snack when you’re craving something light yet satisfying, offering both a balance of sweetness and a touch of savory goodness. This simple yet tasty combination is not only a treat for your taste buds, but it also offers a variety of health benefits.

The grapes provide a refreshing burst of juice, full of antioxidants and vitamins. You can choose any type of grapes, but red or green seedless grapes work best for dipping. The crisp, cool texture of the grapes is the perfect contrast to the creamy almond butter, which brings a delightful richness to each bite. Almond butter adds healthy fats, fiber, and protein, making this snack a great choice for keeping you satisfied between meals.

Making the dip is as easy as it sounds, just serve almond butter in a small bowl alongside fresh grapes. You can drizzle a little honey on the almond butter for extra sweetness or sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or sea salt on top for added flavor. This creates a sweet-savory dip that brings out the natural flavors of both ingredients and offers a satisfying crunch from the almond butter.

Not only does this dip make a great snack on its own, but it can also be a fun addition to a fruit platter, a light appetizer for parties, or a quick breakfast when paired with yogurt or whole-grain toast. It’s also a kid-friendly option that’s both nutritious and tasty.

Whether you’re looking for a quick snack or a light treat to pair with your afternoon coffee, grapes and almond butter dip is a simple, healthy choice that’s easy to prepare and enjoy. It’s a delightful way to satisfy cravings while nourishing your body with wholesome ingredients.

It’s okay, but I found the almond butter too thick. Maybe add some yogurt next time?

    1. User avatar liberal.hero says:

      2 stars
Nah, I liked it how it is. The thickness is part of the charm! Just dip more grapes in it!

    2. 5 stars
I totally agree! The almond butter can be super thick. Yogurt would make it creamier for sure! 🍇

  3. User avatar roberto.pacocha1 says:

Why not just eat the almond butter straight? 😅 The grapes are fine, but I expected more flavor. Also I forgot the vanilla and it was okay, so maybe it’s optional.

  4. User avatar belva.kautzer19 says:

Why do you need honey if the grapes are already sweet? Seems like overkill to me. 🤷‍♂️ 1 star.

    1. 5 stars
I think the honey adds a nice flavor and sweetness balance! It’s not just about the grapes. 5 stars! 🌟

    2. 2 stars
I agree with you. Honey seems useless if grapes are sweet. Not gonna try this. 2 stars.

  5. 5 stars
This was surprisingly good! Great healthy snack option. My kids loved it too!

Not a fan. Something about the textures doesn’t work for me.

    1. User avatar nicky.rodriguez44 says:

      4 stars
I get that! The textures can be a bit odd if you’re not used to it. Maybe try it with a different dip next time?

  7. User avatar magan.farrell says:

    5 stars
OMG this is the best snack ever. I eat this like every day now. So good! 10/10 would recommend. But why do you add vanilla? Baffling! 😂

  8. User avatar audrey.rodriguez15 says:

Not sure about this one… Grapes and almond butter? Seems weird. Might try it but I have my doubts. 2 stars.

Can I substitute peanut butter? I ain’t got no almond butter.

  12. User avatar coleman.hermiston says:

Dunno about the honey amount. I used honey and it was a little sweet for me, so I’d try less next time.

    1. User avatar jamey.klein55 says:

      5 stars
Good point! Honey can vary a lot depending on the brand and how ripe your grapes are. I’d definitely start with a smaller amount and taste as you go.

    2. User avatar smartestRedditor says:

      4 stars
Hmm I used maple syrup and it was perfect sweet, guess grapes matter? Maybe the honey is too strong. Next time try like 2 tsp not 1 tbsp.

  13. 3 stars
The cinnamon was a bit much for me. Maybe I’ll use less next time.

  14. User avatar mohammad.lowe86 says:

    5 stars
Grapes + almond butter is a classic, so this is basically foolproof. I added a tiny squeeze of lemon and it popped.

  15. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

    4 stars
Tried it exactly as written and it came out great, though I had to stir longer because my almond butter was pretty thick. Worth it!

    1. User avatar Ingeborg Von says:

      5 stars
Glad it worked! I also have to stir a bit longer—thicker almond butter makes it take off. The cinnamon + vanilla combo is so good with sweet grapes.

    2. User avatar mathWizard says:

      4 stars
Hmmm I made it once and my dip was super thick like paste, so I just added a splash of warm water. Tasted fine but idk if I did the steps right 😅 still, easy snack though.

  16. User avatar Barry Manilow says:

    5 stars
This was super easy and my kids loved it! They usually won’t eat grapes, but the almond butter dip made all the difference. 5 stars!

  17. User avatar felicita.rempel says:

    2 stars
Grapes? More like bad fruit. But I try anything once.

    1. User avatar Ysgramor says:

      4 stars
I think grapes are delicious! This dip sounds really good to me. You might just change your mind after trying it!

  18. 3 stars
I love grapes but almond butter is not my thing. Maybe I’ll switch it out for peanut butter. 3 stars.

  19. User avatar ricky.schuster says:

    5 stars
Super easy to make! My kids loved it and asked for more!

    1. User avatar sabine.schmitt1 says:

Really? Just grapes and almond butter? Sounds kinda boring to me…

  20. User avatar bong.hill55 says:

    5 stars
This is such a simple snack upgrade—sweet grapes with that creamy almond butter dip is perfect. I added a tiny squeeze of lemon and it really brightened it up.

  21. 5 stars
This is such a simple snack but tastes fancy. The cinnamon + vanilla combo is 🔥. I used maple syrup and it was perfect.

  22. 1 star
Grapes + almond butter? Eww. Not my thing at all. Who thought of this?

  23. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

    3 stars
Instructions are easy to follow but I don’t get why the vanilia is in the recipe.

  24. User avatar wilbur.metz16 says:

    4 stars
Quick and easy! Kids loved it. Not sure how healthy it is, but they ate their fruit! 4 stars.

  25. 5 stars
Delicious! My grandma used to mix fruits with nut butter, it brings back memories. Thank you for sharing this! 5!

  26. 4 stars
Way too much honey for me. I used maple syrup and cut it in half—much better balance. Cinnamon with vanilla was nice.

  27. User avatar liberal.hero says:

    4 stars
Grapes and almond butter? Sounds weird, but I actually love it! Thanks!

  28. 1 star
Meh. Too sweet for me. Grapes are already sweet, you know? I’ll just do cinnamon on top next time.

  29. User avatar tyra.stiedemann1998 says:

    3 stars
I think 1/4 tsp vanilla is too much—mine tasted a bit overpowering. Next time I’ll cut it in half.

  30. User avatar elmer.beahan says:

    5 stars
This is super healthy! Can’t wait to make it again!!

    1. User avatar Hotblack Desiato says:

      5 stars
So glad you enjoyed it! It’s such an easy recipe too.

    2. User avatar Tryndamere says:

      2 stars
I dunno, sounds a bit weird to me. Grapes and almond butter? Really?

  31. User avatar Mr. Kristel DuBuque says:

    5 stars
OMG this is soooo good! Totally my new go-to snack!

    1. 5 stars
Right? It’s so easy to make and super healthy too! I’m addicted!

  32. 4 stars
Honestly… works better than expected 😅. I served it with apple slices too and it was gone fast. Real crowd-pleaser.

  33. User avatar Tom Bombadil says:

    2 stars
Uhhh, why would you dip grapes in almond butter? Sounds weird. I think I’m just gonna stick to plain grapes. 2/5.

  34. 3 stars
I tried this but it didn’t taste as good as I expected. Maybe I used too much almond butter?

  35. 4 stars
Didn’t have grapes, but tried it with banana… it was still yummy!

  36. User avatar melissia.lehner3 says:

    5 stars
This sounds like such an easy, no-fuss snack. The cinnamon + vanilla combo with almond butter is right up my alley. Can’t wait to try it with a handful of sweet grapes!

    1. User avatar andera.lemke74 says:

      5 stars
That combo really is simple—and grapes + almond butter is such a great sweet snack. The cinnamon and vanilla will make it taste way more “dessert-y” than it has any right to 😄 Hope you enjoy!

  37. 4 stars
I don’t like almonds so I subbed peanut butter instead. Still good!

    1. User avatar cassi.erdman49 says:

      4 stars
Peanut butter sounds like a great twist! I might try it that way too.

    2. User avatar etta.pouros says:

      2 stars
But peanut butter is totally different than almond butter! How can it be the same?

  38. User avatar Lumberjack says:

    4 stars
Tried it with a little extra vanilla and it totally upped the flavor. Sweet, nutty, and not too heavy. Great for a quick treat.

    1. User avatar fidelia.renner22 says:

      5 stars
Yesss—extra vanilla is such a good call. I love that it comes out sweet but still light. Making this again for sure.

  39. User avatar gaston.howe73 says:

    2 stars
1/2 tsp cinnamon feels like way too much. Also grapes are already sweet, so… idk. Might be overpowering.

  40. User avatar Wispmother says:

    5 stars
    OMG love grapessssssss!!! So good!!

  41. User avatar hilton.cruickshank says:

    4 stars
Simple and delicious! I suggest using peanut butter instead for a twist!

  42. User avatar sherman.effertz says:

    2 stars
I’m skeptical about grapes with nut butter. Seems like a weird mix.

  43. User avatar Lintilla says:

    4 stars
I used peanut butter instead since I didn’t have almond butter. Still tasty! A bit messy, but who cares? 4 stars.

  44. 5 stars
This is such a simple idea but it actually feels fancy. The cinnamon + vanilla makes the almond butter taste way more “dessert-y” without being heavy. Will make again for sure.

    1. User avatar dulce.crooks2019 says:

      3 stars
Sounds good but I’m not sure about the vanilla/cinnamon combo with almond butter. Would it taste weird if I skip the vanilla? Or add a little cocoa instead?

    2. User avatar ahmad.harris98 says:

      5 stars
Yes!! I love how the cinnamon + vanilla makes it feel like a legit dessert dip. Totally trying this with some berries too.

  45. User avatar Spriggan Earth Mother says:

    5 stars
So fast! My kid asked for it again—thumbs up.

  46. User avatar emerson.beatty says:

    3 stars
Grapes?? Like, with almond butter?? It’s kinda strange but I gave it a shot and it was good I guess.

  47. User avatar anastasia.grimes says:

    3 stars
Lol this is the most basic recipe ever. Grapes + nut butter, really? But okay, it’s not bad if you’re craving something sweet. I’ll give it a 3.

  48. User avatar val.bechtelar says:

    4 stars
Yummy! Just what I needed for my afternoon craving.

  49. User avatar carroll.towne1971 says:

    5 stars
Delicious! Tried it with cinnamon toast crunch also, made it even better! 😍 5 stars!

  50. User avatar Bilbo Baggins says:

    4 stars
Pretty good, but my dip got a little thick when the almond butter was cold. Next time I’ll warm it slightly or add a tiny splash of water. Still tasty though!

  51. User avatar patricia.schmeler says:

    2 stars
Honestly the dip is fine but the ratios are weird—2 cups grapes feels like a lot for only 1/2 cup almond butter. Next time I’ll double the dip.

    1. User avatar eldon.mohr says:

      5 stars
Totally get you—2 cups grapes with only 1/2 cup almond butter does feel a little mismatched. I think I’ll try doubling the dip too next time.

  52. 3 stars
I’m skeptical it needs both honey and cinnamon… like won’t it get too sweet? Still, I might try it because it seems like a nice healthier dessert.

  53. 2 stars
I don’t know about mixing grapes and almond butter, sounds weird. Anyone tried it?

  54. User avatar dorthey.gleichner15 says:

    2 stars
Not gonna lie, I’m skeptical about mixing sweet honey with cinnamon in almond butter for fruit. It was okay, but I didn’t get a big wow factor. Might try less honey next time.

  55. 2 stars
Did not turn out for me. My almond butter was super thick so the dip felt dry and grainy. Maybe I should’ve warmed it up first.

  56. User avatar ShanksOnePiece says:

    5 stars
This is such a simple and delicious recipe! The sweetness of the grapes with the almond butter is perfect. I added some chopped nuts for crunch. 5 stars!

  57. User avatar cornell.krajcik89 says:

    3 stars
How is this a recipe? grapes + almond butter… lol. But i’ll admit i want to taste it.

  58. 4 stars
I loved dipping the grapes in it—sweet, creamy, and not overly messy. I used maple syrup and it turned out great. Quick snack for movie nights.

  59. User avatar dwayne.stanton1985 says:

    4 stars
Surprisingly good. Also, easy cleanup—just one bowl. Works when you’re too lazy to cook 😅

  60. User avatar blanca.carter22 says:

    5 stars
This is such a simple combo—sweet grapes with that creamy almond butter. I added a tiny squeeze of lemon and it tasted even brighter. Great snack idea!

    1. 5 stars
Yes! The lemon idea makes total sense—grapes can be kind of sweet/flat, so a little brightness helps a lot. I might try it next time.

  61. User avatar marvin.langworth says:

    4 stars
I followed it mostly, but my dip turned a little thick because my almond butter was super stiff. Still tasty though—just needed a splash of water.

  62. User avatar chan.schamberger71 says:

    5 stars
This sounds so simple but honestly delicious—grapes + almond butter is a combo I could snack on all day. Love the cinnamon touch too.

  63. User avatar jerlene.brekke says:

    5 stars
I made it for movie night and everyone kept going back for more. Grapes are already sweet, so the dip didn’t need much honey.

  64. User avatar yulanda.feil12 says:

    4 stars
Pretty good, but my almond butter was thick so I had to warm it a bit to mix smoothly. Once it loosened up, it was great.

    1. User avatar Android 16 says:

      4 stars
Huh, I would’ve just added water or used peanut butter 😂 Still, warming it seems smarter than my way. Cinnamon + vanilla sounds nice though.

    2. 5 stars
That makes sense—almond butter can vary a lot. Warming it slightly to make it smoother is a great tip. Glad it turned out great!

  65. User avatar fernando.beahan says:

    1 star
    meh. didn’t wow me 🤷‍♀️

  66. 3 stars
I tried something like this but my almond butter seized up and turned clumpy… I think I used honey that was too thick. Still, the idea is solid.

  67. User avatar willard.jones62 says:

    3 stars
Not gonna lie, I expected it to be more exciting. It’s fine, but more like a ‘healthy ants at a picnic’ vibe than a real dessert.

    1. User avatar anette.lang says:

      4 stars
Honestly I get what you mean—it’s more snacky than “wow dessert.” But the combo of sweet grapes + nutty dip is still super satisfying.

    2. User avatar guy.swaniawski13 says:

      2 stars
Maybe add chocolate or something? I tried it like this and it was kinda bland… grapes taste watery unless you chill them first. Also almond butter is expensive lol.

  68. User avatar william.bode says:

    2 stars
Idk why, but it tastes kinda bland unless you use really flavorful grapes. Also, I used almond butter powder by accident and it clumped like crazy 😅

  69. User avatar philip.wisozk says:

    3 stars
I’m not sure about the honey + cinnamon combo. It tastes kinda like dessert, not really “snack” to me, but my kids loved it.

    1. User avatar basil.walter32 says:

      5 stars
I get what you mean about it being dessert-y, but the grapes keep it fresh and snackable. My kid brain is like “sweet dip!” too 😄

    2. User avatar elmer.gutmann72 says:

      2 stars
Not sure… honey + cinnamon sounds better on toast, lol. I tried something like this once and it got too sweet fast. Maybe cut the honey in half?

  70. 3 stars
Not sure about the ratio—1/2 cup almond butter for 2 cups grapes seems like a lot of dip, but maybe that’s a good thing. I’d probably start with a little less honey too.

    1. 5 stars
I actually think 1/2 cup almond butter for 2 cups grapes is perfect if you like a thick dip—especially for snacking. You can always thin it slightly with a splash of warm water or more honey if it gets too stiff.

    2. User avatar shae.von1952 says:

      4 stars
Start with less honey for sure. Grapes are already sweet, and almond butter can be strong. I’d do like 1/2–1 tsp max and taste.

  71. User avatar long.stracke7 says:

    4 stars
Simple and looks pretty fancy for something you throw together in minutes. I might add a tiny squeeze of lemon though—just for brightness.

  72. User avatar MAGA2024.Trumpster says:

    4 stars
The vanilla and cinnamon made it taste kinda like dessert hummus (in a good way). Would do again!

  73. User avatar manual.wilkinson2017 says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but I expected it to be more “dip-y.” Mine turned out like a spread. Still tasty though.
