I disagree! I think the steps are pretty clear and helpful for a beginner. It helps to have guidance when cooking. 😄

Doesn’t sound very exciting to me. Chicken and artichokes? Sounds boring!

Tried this tonight—so comforting. The tarragon vinegar gives it a nice tang without overpowering everything. I baked it the full 40 minutes and it came out juicy.

I dunno… 40 minutes at 350 seems like it could dry chicken out. What kind of chicken size/cubes did you use? Mine got a bit too dry when I tried a similar bake.

    2. 5 stars
So glad it worked for you! I love how the tarragon vinegar adds that tang without stealing the show. “Juicy” is exactly what I want from this one 😊

I followed it and it was kind of bland. Maybe my breadcrumbs weren’t seasoned enough? Also 1-inch cubes browned fine but I should’ve cooked a little longer before baking.

Pretty solid weeknight meal. I used extra pepper and it still worked. Next time I might add a little more olive oil for a thicker golden crust.

Not really spicy enough for my taste. I added some chili flakes, lol.

Not gonna lie, “tarragon vinegar” sounds fancy but I think any vinegar would work, right? I went with apple cider and it was actually decent. Husband approved!

    1. User avatar Samwise Gamgee says:

I guess any vinegar works, but tarragon is kinda the whole point here. If you use apple cider, won’t it get sweeter? Might still be fine though—just not the same flavor.

    2. User avatar Les Armstrong says:

Totally! “Tarragon vinegar” is mainly bringing a herby, slightly tangy vibe—apple cider would be a close-enough substitute. Love that your husband approved!

Pretty solid, the chicken stays juicy and the artichokes add a nice tang. Next time I’ll season the breadcrumbs more because mine felt a tad bland before the baking.

Not bad but I couldn’t find artichokes in my store?? Had to skip them and used mushrooms instead. Still worked!

Not convinced about the tarragon vinegar—felt kinda sour for me. Also I think my chicken was a tad dry after baking (maybe my cubes were smaller than 1-inch).

I dunno, I think it could use more flavor. The artichokes didn’t really add anything, and the chicken was kinda bland. Gonna give it a 2.

I totally disagree! This recipe is amazing. The artichokes really add a unique taste and the chicken was cooked perfect for me!
