Pink Lemonade Pie

July 31, 2024

Pink Lemonade Pie is the kind of dessert that feels like sunshine on a plate. Light, tangy, and sweet with a refreshing citrus twist, this no-bake pie is the perfect treat for warm days, backyard gatherings, or anytime you want a little burst of summer flavor. With its cheerful pink hue and creamy texture, it’s as pretty as it is delicious.

The magic of this pie is how easy it is to make. With just a few ingredients – pink lemonade concentrate, sweetened condensed milk, whipped topping, and a graham cracker crust, you get a silky smooth filling that sets beautifully in the fridge or freezer. There’s no need to turn on the oven, which makes it a go-to dessert when the weather is hot.

The flavor is a nostalgic nod to childhood lemonade stands, but with a creamy twist that feels grown-up enough for dinner parties. The lemonade gives the filling a bright, zesty kick that balances out the sweetness of the milk and whipped topping. The graham cracker crust adds just the right amount of crunch and a subtle toasty note that pairs perfectly with the cool filling.

You can dress up your pink lemonade pie with slices of fresh lemon, a dollop of whipped cream, or a sprinkle of crushed cookies or berries. Serve it straight from the fridge for a soft, creamy bite, or freeze it for a firmer, ice-cream-like texture.

This pie is quick to assemble, easy to transport, and always a hit with guests. It’s especially great for potlucks, birthdays, baby showers, or any event where you want something that looks festive but doesn’t require hours in the kitchen.

Pink Lemonade Pie is proof that simple desserts can still steal the show – it’s light, lovely, and perfect for summer.

This recipe is made by Matthew Bronsert.

Pink lemonade? Sounds weird but actually, it’s really good! My kids devoured it!

  2. User avatar Falmer Gloomlurker says:

    3 stars
Eh, it was fine but I’d rather have a chocolate cake instead. Just my opinion.

  3. User avatar donn.bernier33 says:

    5 stars
This is dangerously easy. I basically made it while doing laundry and it still turned out great—super creamy and tangy.

  4. 3 stars
I had to use a store brand sweetened condensed milk and it separated a little on low heat, but it still came together once folded. The flavor is worth it.

  5. 1 star
Graham cracker crust, really? Why not a chocolate one? This pie ain’t all that.

    1. User avatar beau.deckow says:

      4 stars
I think Graham cracker crust is classic for this kind of pie! Chocolate could be too rich. Just saying!

  6. 5 stars
My grandson helped and he kept stealing bites. 😂 That alone says it’s a hit. I will say: use cold Cool Whip so it folds better.

  7. 4 stars
Does it have to be Cool Whip? Can I use real whipped cream?

  8. 5 stars
Super easy to make! My kids loved helping me mix everything. Thanks for the recipe!

    1. User avatar alesia.terry37 says:

I tried this recipe too, and it’s a hit! Not just with kids, but adults love it too! So refreshing!

  9. 5 stars
Made this last weekend—super easy and it tasted like summer. The texture was nice and firm after the full 2+ hours. I didn’t even measure much, just followed the vibe 😄

  10. User avatar rich.landlord says:

This pie was so refreshing! I made it for a summer BBQ and it was gone in minutes. Will definitely make again!

  11. User avatar alan.hane75 says:

I tried making this but the Cool Whip just wouldn’t fold in right. Not sure what I did wrong.

  12. 5 stars
This pie is super easy to make and sooo delicious! I love pink lemonade!

    1. User avatar winter.schaefer says:

I’ve made this pie for parties before, and everyone loves it! It’s a total hit!

  13. User avatar derek.zieme says:

    4 stars
Loved the flavor, but I think my crust got a little soggy after sitting out. Next time I’ll chill the crust longer before filling and keep it colder at serving.

  14. 4 stars
Yummy treat for summer days! Everyone loved it at the picnic 🙂

    1. User avatar blake.macgyver76 says:

      5 stars
This sounds so refreshing! Perfect for hot days. I’m definitely trying it!

  15. 4 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical because it’s basically lemonade + condensed milk + Cool Whip. But it’s actually refreshing. Tastes like a slushie got dressed up.

  16. User avatar cleveland.gleason25 says:

    5 stars
5 stars all the way! Easy to make and my guests were impressed! Will make again!

  17. 4 stars
Wait—step numbers are mixed up (it jumps 0,1,2,4,3). Still figured it out, but maybe fix that. Flavor though? Yum. I topped with extra Cool Whip and it looked like a bakery thing.

  18. 4 stars
I’m skeptical of anything with Cool Whip, but this surprised me. The texture is smooth, not rubbery. I could eat the whole pie by myself.

    1. User avatar Gurney Halleck says:

      5 stars
Same here—I’m not usually a Cool Whip person. But the method (folding it in + freezing) makes it feel way less “fake” than I expected. This actually sounds dangerous 😅

    2. User avatar kristopher.kuhn2020 says:

      2 stars
Cool Whip in pie?? I dunno… I tried something like this and it tasted too sweet, like straight-up lemonade syrup. Maybe cut the concentrate next time or use less condensed milk?

  19. 4 stars
Mine came out a little too tangy—probably my brand of lemonade was stronger. Next time I’ll chill it longer.

  20. User avatar Ms. Chong Morar says:

    2 stars
It’s okay. My kid said it tastes like “lemon milk” lol. I might try it with fresh lemon next time.

  21. User avatar Saruman the White says:

    4 stars
Pretty good, but mine was a little runny after freezing. Next time I’ll make sure the pie sets the full 2 hours (or longer). Still, the texture was creamy and delicious.

  22. 2 stars
Wow, so easy it’s suspicious. Like… it can’t be that good with just condensed milk and lemonade, right? But I’m not mad—actually really tasty.

  23. User avatar ShanksOnePiece says:

    3 stars
What’s pink lemonade? Is it the same as normal lemonade just with food dye?

  24. User avatar dominic.brown says:

    2 stars
Disaster! My pie never set and tasted way too sweet. Never trying again.

  25. 2 stars
It didn’t set properly in my freezer… spent 3 hours waiting! ugh!

    1. User avatar noble.ohara94 says:

      4 stars
I had the same issue! I think it might be my freezer too, it’s pretty old. Maybe try letting it sit longer next time?

  26. User avatar salvatore.dach says:

    5 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about frozen lemonade concentrate in a pie… but it absolutely worked. The flavor is like pink lemonade you can eat with a fork.

  27. 4 stars
Yummy! I added some strawberries on top. Would suggest doing that!

  28. User avatar ralph.durgan41 says:

    1 star
Meh, I expected better. It’s just a mix of lemonade and milk. Can’t fool me!

  29. 2 stars
Not a fan… too sweet for my taste. Maybe less condensed milk next time.

  30. 4 stars
Step numbering is weird (2 then 4 then 3), but I figured it out. Took like 10 minutes to mix and it froze fine. Good for last-minute parties.

    1. User avatar Orange Dartwing says:

      5 stars
Glad it worked out! And yeah, that numbering is definitely confusing—who puts 4 before 3 😅 But if it freezes fine, I’m sold. Thanks for the party tip!

  31. User avatar meghan.kilback48 says:

    5 stars
Tried this last weekend—super easy and honestly tastes like spring. I used regular lemonade concentrate and it still hit. Next time I’ll chill a little longer because mine was soft at first.

  32. User avatar callie.heller2019 says:

    5 stars
The texture after freezing was perfect—like a light cheesecake pie. My family asked for seconds immediately.

  33. User avatar heike.hammes23 says:

    3 stars
Can you use real lemons instead? I prefer fresh ingredients. Just asking!

  34. User avatar ellan.denesik says:

    5 stars
This is such a quick recipe! Was perfect for my kid’s birthday party!

  35. User avatar Hotblack Desiato's bodyguard says:

    4 stars
Really good! But is it supposed to be THIS sweet? I might cut down on the condensed milk next time. 💖

  36. User avatar coleman.ritchie34 says:

    1 star
I made this with orange juice instead… YUCK! Not the same at all.

  37. User avatar xavier.turcotte says:

    3 stars
I forgot to fold the Cool Whip gently and it deflated a bit. Still good though, just less fluffy.

  38. User avatar Caleb Swift II says:

    4 stars
So easy to make! Made it for my daughter’s birthday, and she was thrilled!

  39. User avatar forrest.mayert says:

    4 stars
I don’t know about mixing lemonade with pie. Seemed weird but I tried it anyway and wow!

  40. User avatar tim.hodkiewicz2012 says:

    2 stars
Idk, it seemed kinda weird mixing lemonade with milk. Are those flavors supposed to go together?

  41. User avatar cleotilde.bruen93 says:

    3 stars
The measurements are a bit weird—“8 oz frozen” lemonade concentrate? Mine came as a different size and I had to eyeball it. Still okay though, kinda tangy.

    1. 5 stars
Totally get you—“8 oz frozen concentrate” is one of those annoying labels. I’ve had it come in slightly different sizes too, and I just adjust by taste/consistency. If it turned out tangy and you liked it, you’re good!

  42. User avatar dewitt.cummings says:

    5 stars
Graham crust + lemonade = amazing. Kids devoured it. Also the Cool Whip on top makes it look fancy for basically zero effort.

  43. User avatar alfonso.predovic1998 says:

    4 stars
Pretty good, but mine was a little too sweet. Next time I’ll use a less-sweet lemonade or maybe reduce the condensed milk slightly. Still, it vanished fast at the party.

  44. User avatar benedict.will56 says:

    3 stars
Too creamy for me. I prefer my pies less fluffy.

  45. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

    2 stars
This seems too simple to be real pie. I made it and it was basically lemonade-flavored fluff in a crust. The flavor was there, but “pie” is doing a lot.

  46. User avatar Restless Draugr says:

    5 stars
Pink lemonade is the best! My new favorite dessert. Yum! 😋

    1. 3 stars
This seems too sweet for my taste. How about adding some tangy stuff?

    2. User avatar athena.mann53 says:

      5 stars
I’ve tried this pie and it was sooo good! Perfect for summer BBQs. 🌞

  47. User avatar monte.sipes2012 says:

    3 stars
I followed the steps exactly but my filling was a bit too sweet. Next time I’ll cut the condensed milk or use a less-sweet lemonade.

  48. User avatar Alonzo Gaylord says:

    5 stars
    One word: Delicious.

  49. User avatar Miss Mark Robel says:

    4 stars
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about no-bake + lemonade concentrate, but it actually worked. Mine was a little soft after exactly 2 hours, so I froze it longer and it firmed up.

  50. User avatar renae.oconnell says:

    5 stars
Made this for a family cookout and it disappeared fast. Super creamy and the pink lemonade flavor is spot on. I did chill it the full 3 hours for a cleaner slice.

    1. User avatar bernarda.donnelly24 says:

      3 stars
I tried it but mine didn’t taste that “pink lemonade” strong. Maybe my concentrate was watered down? I did freeze it, not chill though… still good, just not as punchy.

    2. User avatar rickie.hudson78 says:

      5 stars
That’s awesome—same here, it disappears at cookouts 😅 The chill time really does make it slice way cleaner.

  51. User avatar ashli.reynolds47 says:

    1 star
I don’t get why people like lemonade desserts that are all pink and fake-tasting. My concentrate was sour and the condensed milk didn’t save it. Would not repeat.

    1. User avatar michel.kreiger36 says:

      2 stars
That sounds disappointing—pink lemonade concentrate can be *way* more sour than expected. Did you maybe use a stronger concentrate than the recipe assumes, or not thaw it fully? If you try again, you could taste first and add a splash more condensed milk or a bit of sweetened lemonade instead of going straight from sour concentrate.

  52. User avatar kathy.schinner says:

    5 stars
This was such a hit at my family gathering! Everyone loved it!

  53. 3 stars
Doesn’t this recipe just seem a bit lazy? You just mix and freeze it?

    1. User avatar Ilban Richese says:

      5 stars
I don’t think it’s lazy! Sometimes simple is best, especially for a hot day. This pie sounds refreshing!

  54. User avatar lyle.wyman18 says:

    1 star
NO. This looks disgusting. Who puts lemonade in a pie? 🤢

  55. User avatar honey.halvorson39 says:

    5 stars
Absolutely loved this pie! So refreshing for summer gatherings!

  56. User avatar bula.bechtelar57 says:

    5 stars
The flavor is like a summer drink got turned into dessert. Great balance between tart and sweet.

  57. User avatar winford.moore82 says:

    2 stars
Too sweet for my taste. Next time, I’ll try it with less condensed milk.

  58. User avatar coleman.kovacek says:

    4 stars
I don’t like Cool Whip. Can I use real whipped cream instead?

    1. User avatar Bobbi Cummerata says:

      5 stars
Yeah, you can definitely use real whipped cream! It might change the texture a bit, but it’ll taste great!

  59. 5 stars
This pie is sooo good! It was a hit at our family BBQ. Will make again!

  60. User avatar earle.funk38 says:

    4 stars
I don’t like Cool Whip. Can I use whipped cream instead? Either way, pie looks good.

    1. 5 stars
Absolutely, whipped cream will work just fine! Just make sure to whip it to stiff peaks. Enjoy the pie!

  61. 4 stars
Waited the full 2 hours but mine was still a little soft—next time I’ll probably freeze longer or use a slightly smaller crust. Flavor is great though.

    1. User avatar cedric.schinner27 says:

      4 stars
Ugh, that’s frustrating—sorry! If it’s still soft after 2 hours, I’d try freezing a bit longer (like 3–4) and make sure it’s fully set before slicing. Also, smaller crusts can help it firm up quicker since there’s less filling per slice.

  62. User avatar rickiestmorty says:

    4 stars
I followed it exactly and mine didn’t get firm after 2 hours—more like 4. Maybe my freezer runs warm? Otherwise, it was pretty good and creamy.

  63. User avatar Mr. Claribel McDermott says:

    3 stars
I messed up and added all the Cool Whip at once… it was still tasty, but softer than I expected. Freeze longer maybe?

  64. User avatar Gurney Halleck says:

    5 stars
This is dangerously easy. I used a store-bought crust and it still tastes like a fancy summer dessert. The lemon flavor is bright but not too sour—big win.

    1. User avatar rachael.witting1950 says:

      3 stars
Dang, I’m skeptical—pink lemonade concentrate + sweetened condensed milk sounds way too sweet for me. Still, if you say it’s not sour, maybe I’ll try cutting the concentrate a little next time. Also “2 minutes” is suspiciously easy lol.

    2. 5 stars
Agreed—this one feels like cheating in the best way 😄 The lemon comes through so nicely, and the texture is super creamy even after freezing. I used a graham crust too and it tasted way “restaurant” than it had any right to.

  65. User avatar elias.schroeder40 says:

    4 stars
Honestly thought it would be more complicated. Easy peasy, great recipe!

    1. User avatar willetta.bernier55 says:

      5 stars
So glad you found it easy! It’s my go-to for summer gatherings!

  66. User avatar mellisa.hahn says:

    4 stars
Graham cracker crust got a little soggy for me after sitting out. Still fine, just plan to serve soon.

  67. 2 stars
I don’t have Cool Whip so I used whipped cream—didn’t set the same at all. It’s more like a chilled mousse now. Still tasty!

    1. 4 stars
Thanks for sharing! I figured whipped cream would behave differently—Cool Whip has that stabilizer vibe. “Chilled mousse” actually sounds kinda perfect for this pie though 😄

    2. User avatar josh.moen1959 says:

      3 stars
Huh? I think your freezer time should’ve fixed it. Maybe you didn’t whip it enough? Next time add a little gelatin or cream cheese so it sets more like the recipe. Either way glad it tastes good.

  68. User avatar geoWizard says:

    3 stars
I thought it would be more tart, but it ended up more like a sweet cream pie. If you want tangier, maybe add lemon zest or fresh juice.

    1. User avatar ashly.predovic2014 says:

      4 stars
I agree—mine came out super sweet like a cream pie too. Next time I’m definitely adding some lemon zest and maybe a splash of fresh juice. Thanks for the tip!

    2. User avatar anderson.rohan26 says:

      3 stars
Wait, lemon zest AND juice? I used the concentrate and followed it exactly, so I thought that *is* tangy enough. Maybe my Cool Whip was extra sweet? Either way, still good, just not tart.

  69. User avatar lamar.wolff1976 says:

    3 stars
I’m not into sweet stuff but my sister loved it! So I guess it’s good for some people.

  70. User avatar reynaldo.rau26 says:

    4 stars
I didn’t have Cool Whip, so I used whipped cream instead. Still turned out great!
