Delicious ginger-flavored biscuits that are perfect for tea time or as a snack!

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g butter Softened
  • 100 g sugar Granulated
  • 1 tbsp ginger ground
  • 2 tbsp Golden Syrup
  • 225 g flour All-purpose
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking tray.
  • In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Stir in the ground ginger and golden syrup.
  • Sift in the flour and baking soda, and mix to form a dough.
  • Roll the dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking tray.
  • Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a spoon.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
