Ginger Biscuits
Delicious ginger-flavored biscuits that are perfect for tea time or as a snack!
Ingredients
- 100 g butter Softened
- 100 g sugar Granulated
- 1 tbsp ginger ground
- 2 tbsp Golden Syrup
- 225 g flour All-purpose
- 1 tsp baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking tray.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the ground ginger and golden syrup.
- Sift in the flour and baking soda, and mix to form a dough.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking tray.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
