Lobster and Roasted Red Pepper Penne

August 8, 2023

Treat yourself to a restaurant-worthy dinner with this rich and flavorful Lobster and Roasted Red Pepper Penne. It’s a dish that feels elegant but is surprisingly easy to prepare at home, making it perfect for special occasions, holidays, or even just a cozy weekend meal.

The star of this pasta is tender, succulent lobster meat. Whether you’re using fresh, frozen, or pre-cooked, the lobster brings a sweet and buttery flavor that pairs beautifully with the smokiness of roasted red peppers. Blended into a creamy sauce with garlic, shallots, white wine, and a touch of cream, the roasted peppers create a silky texture and bold flavor base that coats every bite of penne.

Penne pasta holds the sauce perfectly in its ridges and tubes, making sure each forkful is packed with flavor. Finish the dish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley, grated Parmesan, and a squeeze of lemon to brighten up the richness.

This Lobster and Roasted Red Pepper Penne is both comforting and luxurious. It’s perfect served alongside crusty bread, a crisp salad, and a chilled glass of Chardonnay or sparkling wine. You can even prep the sauce ahead of time to make dinner come together quickly on a busy night.

Whether you’re celebrating something special or just in the mood to indulge, this pasta brings restaurant-level flavor right to your kitchen.

Took me forever to find roasted red pepper. Why can’t they sell it fresh? Anyway, the dish turned out great!

    1. 2 stars
Took forever?! 🤔 How hard can it be to find pepers? Maybe you should try somethin easier next time!

Do you really need to use lobster? Seems like a lot for a simple pasta dish.

    1. 4 stars
Yeah, lobster is a bit much for pasta. I think shrimp or chicken would be just fine!

    2. 2 stars
I dont see the point, I mean lobster is fancy but do we need it 4 pasta? Seems like overkill to me.

Too much cream? I dunno, maybe just go light on the heavy cream next time? But it is a cream sauce after all.

Maybe the lobsters were old? They can taste off if they’re not fresh. Try buying from a trusted source next time!

Y’all, how do you roast a bell pepper? I think I just added raw peppers by mistake… How can I fix it?

  22. 3 stars
Not really my flavor profile, but I guess it’s alright! My grandma always said, ‘If it don’t taste good, add more salt.’

  23. 2 stars
Ain’t nobody got time for all that chopping and cooking. Noodles and butter is all I need 😂

  24. User avatar margarite.armstrong43 says:

    1. 3 stars
Garlic is super important for flavor! But yeah, lobster ain’t cheap, so maybe a simpler recipe next time?

Looks good, but I don’t know if I can handle cooking lobsters. Sounds hard!

  34. 3 stars
I wish the recipe had instructions for roasting the pepper! Had to google it.

    1. 4 stars
Yeah, roasting a pepper is super easy! Just stick it under the broiler for a bit, or roast it on the grill until the skin’s charred. But hey, maybe the recipe’s focused more on the lobster? Still, I get your frustration!

  35. User avatar benjamin.strosin53 says:

    4 stars
I substituted shrimp for the lobster since I live in the middle of America and lobster’s really expensive here. Still turned out great!

  42. User avatar norbert.heidenreich3 says:

Ingredients sound fancy, but I’m not sure about the flavors. Garlic with lobster? Is that a thing?

    1. User avatar francesco.williamson says:

      2 stars
I dunno…sounds kinda weird to me. I like my lobster plain, not swimmin’ in garlic. But maybe it works? Who knows.

  46. User avatar Tanner Wuckert says:

    3 stars
It was okay, but a bit too rich for my taste. Maybe I should’ve used less cream?

  47. User avatar gregorio.schowalter2022 says:
