Air Fryer Meatballs

July 18, 2025

Air Fryer Meatballs are the ultimate weeknight meal hack that combines crispy, perfectly browned meatballs with minimal effort. With the help of your air fryer, you can make delicious, juicy meatballs in a fraction of the time it would take to bake them in the oven. What’s more, the air fryer ensures that the meatballs are crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy on the inside every time.

One of the key benefits of using the air fryer is that it allows you to make healthier meatballs with less oil, while still achieving a satisfying, golden crust. The air circulates around the meatballs, cooking them evenly and locking in flavor without needing to fry them in a pan. This makes air fryer meatballs a great option for those looking to enjoy a comfort food favorite in a lighter, more convenient way.

The great thing about meatballs is that they’re incredibly versatile. You can use ground beef, turkey, chicken, or even plant-based proteins to make the meatballs your own. Add your favorite herbs and spices, garlic, parsley, oregano, and crushed red pepper are all great choices for added flavor. You can even stuff them with cheese or spinach for an extra surprise in every bite.

These meatballs are perfect for a variety of dishes. Serve them over pasta with marinara sauce for a classic Italian dinner, or slide them into a sandwich bun for a hearty meatball sub. You can also pair them with a side of roasted vegetables or a simple salad for a lighter, more balanced meal.

Whether you’re cooking for one or feeding a family, healthy meatballs are quick, easy, and guaranteed to please. Plus, the cleanup is a breeze, making them perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.

Yumm! Fast and easy! I have even made them with ground turkey and it works perfectly.

    1. User avatar malik.bahringer1986 says:

      4 stars
I never thought turkey would work, but it sounds great! Definitely gonna try this soon.

    2. User avatar aisha.luettgen2013 says:

      2 stars
Really? Ground turkey? I don’t see how that can taste as good as beef! But hey, if it works for you!

  2. User avatar millicent.zboncak2012 says:

    4 stars
Super tasty! I added some chili flakes for a kick!

  3. User avatar chang.weimann79 says:

Good base recipe, but I think it needs more flavor. Maybe some onion or something?

  4. User avatar val.kris65 says:

    5 stars
These meatballs were a huge hit with my family! So easy and delish, we’ll be making them again for sure.

  5. User avatar jasper.nicolas60 says:

I tried this recipe and my meatballs came out dry! Did I overcook them? Not sure if I’d try again.

  6. User avatar kendra.brakus17 says:

    3 stars
Meatballs are good, but I’d suggest a sauce on the side. They can be a bit dry without it.

  7. User avatar alec.koepp2 says:

Why would you air fry meat? That’s not how italians do it! Better off just oven baking. 😂

    1. User avatar markus.stehr34 says:

      2 stars
Air frying meat is weird. Italians bake or fry in oil, not this weird gadget stuff. 🤷‍♂️

    2. User avatar stanton.wisoky22 says:

      4 stars
I get your point, but air frying is just a faster way and still gives a nice crispy texture! Maybe give it a try? 😊

  8. 3 stars
cooked it for 8 minutes, and it was still raw inside. Gotta follow instructions better next time. 😬

    1. User avatar Feyd-Rautha Rabban says:

      4 stars
Maybe try cooking them for a few more minutes next time! Air fryers can be tricky but they usually turn out great! 🍽️

  9. User avatar Brandie Cormier says:

    5 stars
I was skeptical about using an air fryer, but these meatballs turned out great!! Love the ease of cleanup too.

  10. User avatar Petra Sipes says:

    4 stars
Yummy! But why do you need an air fryer? Can’t you just use the oven? Seems like a waste of energy.

    1. User avatar dimple.dubuque17 says:

      4 stars
I get what you’re saying! The oven can totally work, but the air fryer does give that crispy finish faster! 🤷‍♂️

    2. 2 stars
Why bother with new gadgets? The oven exists for a reason! Air fryers are just a fad, if you ask me.

  11. User avatar Happy Mask Salesman says:

    3 stars
They turned out pretty dry for me. Maybe I overcooked them? 😕 Not sure I did it right.

  12. User avatar Thao Jaskolski says:

    3 stars
I substituted turkey for beef and it was ok, but not the same. Just sayin’.

  13. User avatar Deep Thought says:

    2 stars
Mmm, meatballs! Not bad but my grandma’s are way better. Sorry, just saying.

  14. User avatar precious.kunde says:

    3 stars
I thought they were too dry. Maybe too much breadcrumbs?

  15. User avatar Mrs. Helena Abernathy says:

    5 stars
These meatballs were a huge hit at my family dinner! So juicy and flavorful! I’ll definitely make them again. Thanks!

    1. User avatar hyman.kemmer says:

      5 stars
So glad to hear they were a hit! I made them last week and my kids loved them too. It’s so easy with the air fryer!

  16. User avatar tammie.kub says:

    5 stars
First time using an air fryer, and WOW, these are so much better than baking! 💯 Love it!

  17. User avatar caterina.brekke65 says:

    3 stars
I followed the recipe but they turned out kinda dry. Maybe I overcooked them?

  18. User avatar Slartibartfast says:

    2 stars
I tried it but my meatballs fell apart… maybe I didn’t mix enough or I shaped them too small. Taste is good though, just not the texture I wanted.

  19. User avatar lecia.bartell17 says:

    2 stars
The recipe says mix it well, but not too much. What does this even mean? Confused!

    1. User avatar philip.kling71 says:

      5 stars
It just means to mix until everything is combined but not to overwork the meat! Otherwise, it can get tough. Don’t worry too much, just go with your gut!

  20. User avatar jerrold.bergstrom says:

    5 stars
These meatballs were amazing! So juicy and full of flavor. Definitely a keeper!

    1. 3 stars
Really? I tried making these and they turned out kinda dry. Maybe I messed up the cooking time?

    2. User avatar ambrose.lockman says:

      5 stars
I totally agree! These meatballs are the best I’ve ever made. So easy and delicious!

  21. 4 stars
Tried these with turkey and they were still delicious! Thanks for the recipe.

  22. User avatar w00d_ch0p says:

    3 stars
I didn’t have oregano, but used some Italian seasoning instead. They turned out fine, but a bit dry.

  23. User avatar eugena.stoltenberg says:

    4 stars
Can you use turkey instead of beef? Just wondering…

    1. 5 stars
Yeah, you can use turkey instead of beef! Just make sure to season well since turkey can be a bit drier. Hope that helps!

  24. User avatar valeria.keebler says:

    2 stars
I don’t get why use the air fryer? Just use the oven. Same diffrent if you ask me. 🙄

    1. User avatar Margherita Friesen says:

      4 stars
I kinda see your point, but the air fryer makes them crisper without all the extra oil. Less cleanup too! 😋

  25. User avatar ollie.mccullough6 says:

    5 stars
These meatballs are a game changer! So juicy and flavorful. Definitely making again!

  26. User avatar rae.heaney1971 says:

    4 stars
Could someone explain why 400°F? I tried 350°F once and they took forever. Maybe my oven-air fryer is broken, but I trust this recipe’s timing more.

  27. User avatar emery.rau0 says:

    3 stars
Good recipe, but they could use more seasoning! Like some paprika or something.

    1. User avatar heidi.sanford says:

      4 stars
Totally agree! A little paprika would really elevate the flavor! I also like adding some chili flakes for a kick.

  28. User avatar Manuela Powlowski says:

    2 stars
Easy recipe but I prefer my meatballs from a jar. Not a fan of the air fryer.

    1. User avatar shae.mueller53 says:

      4 stars
I get that! Jars can be sooo convenient. But you could try making a big batch and freezing them for later, right? Just a thought!

  29. User avatar Effrafax of Wug says:

    5 stars
Love this recipe! Used to be scared of cooking meatballs but now I’m a pro thanks to you!

  30. User avatar trevor.marquardt92 says:

    4 stars
I used turkey instead of beef, and they were pretty decent. Just as good if not better!

  31. User avatar Arthur Philip Deodat says:

    4 stars
Can’t believe meatballs can be made this easy! So fast, and perfect for my busy days! 😅

    1. 5 stars
Totally agree! Makes weeknight dinners a breeze. 🍝

    2. 2 stars
But is it really that easy? I’ve tried other recipes and they turned out weird. 🤔

  32. User avatar Mr. Duane Sawayn says:

    4 stars
Can I skip the egg? Don’t have any right now and I’m hungry! 😅

    1. User avatar maida.gerhold1999 says:

      3 stars
I dunno, I think the egg is pretty important for holding the meatballs together. Maybe just wait till you get some?

    2. User avatar Dan Streetmentioner says:

      5 stars
You can totally skip the egg! Just add a bit more breadcrumbs to help bind it together. Good luck!

  33. User avatar Dr. Ian Russel says:

    2 stars
I tried this but my meatballs fell apart. Might be my fault… used too much sauce in the mix? Idk 🙁

  34. User avatar rory.bashirian96 says:

    3 stars
I followed it pretty much exactly but mine came out a little dry. I think my oven equivalent? Wait—air fryer runs hotter in my machine, so 10 min might be too long. Anyone else adjust time?

    1. User avatar isaiah.haag17 says:

      4 stars
Yep—my air fryer definitely runs hot too. I usually do 8 minutes and they’re perfect. If they start browning fast, flip at like 6–7 minutes.

  35. 3 stars
They were good but a bit too dry for my taste. Maybe more cheese next time?

  36. User avatar rolando.leuschke says:

    2 stars
Way too salty! Next time, I’m gonna skip the extra salt. Not trying this again.

  37. User avatar cherry.kuvalis1999 says:

    3 stars
I didn’t have parmesan, so used cheddar, kinda weird but still tasty.

  38. User avatar theresia.sporer11 says:

    1 star
Follow the steps but mine burnt! Air fryers are tricky. 😩

  39. User avatar Mr. Chong Kemmer says:

    5 stars
Really loved this recipe! My kids gobbled them up, even the picky one! Thanks!! 😍

  40. User avatar essie.barrows1961 says:

    2 stars
Made these for dinner and nobody liked them… idk why, they just didn’t taste right.

  41. User avatar Daedric Prince says:

    3 stars
Just saying, you can also make them in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer! But they do taste better in air fryer.

  42. User avatar jae.kuhlman30 says:

    4 stars
Easy and quick! I love using the air fryer! 🔥

    1. User avatar Goron Elder says:

      3 stars
Really? Air fryer meatballs? Sounds too easy, what if they get dry? 🤔

    2. User avatar karma.walsh2022 says:

      5 stars
I tried this recipe last night, and wow, they turned out amazing! The air fryer really makes a difference.

  43. User avatar Dominic Vernius says:

    5 stars
This is kinda genius. I used to hate rolling meatballs because it’s messy, but the air fryer setup made it way easier. Cleanup was fast too.

  44. User avatar rheba.jaskolski69 says:

    4 stars
I mixed the egg in the ground beef before(not supposed to) but they still turned out okay. LOL!

  45. User avatar warner.oreilly56 says:

    5 stars
Yum! My kids loved these meatballs, gonna make again for sure.

    1. User avatar katlyn.jenkins says:

      5 stars
That’s awesome! Kids are so picky sometimes, but these meatballs seem to be a hit! 😄

    2. User avatar rickiestmorty says:

      2 stars
Meatballs again? I dunno, they always taste the same to me. Maybe try something different next time?

  46. User avatar Charles Darwin says:

    5 stars
👍 Fantastic recipe! Can’t wait to make it again next week!

  47. 4 stars
Pretty easy. My kids liked it and asked for “the crispy balls” again 😂. I did dip in marinara.

    1. User avatar terrell.gorczany1958 says:

      5 stars
Love that—“crispy balls” is the best endorsement 😂 And dipping in marinara sounds perfect with these air-fried meatballs.

  48. User avatar julio.stanton says:

    1 star
Meatballs? More like meat lumps!! Lol, mine didn’t hold together. What did I do wrong?

  49. User avatar royal.stamm1967 says:

    3 stars
I think it taste too salty. I regret adding all that salt. Next time I do less.

  50. User avatar ellsworth.nolan73 says:

    3 stars
Just ok, personally I think they need more seasoning. Or maybe I did it wrong… 🤷‍♂️

  51. User avatar Hotblack Desiato says:

    4 stars
Delish! These are better than the store-bought ones and easy to make. Love using the air fryer.

    1. 5 stars
Totally agree! I can’t believe how easy they are. The air fryer really does make them taste better. 🥳

    2. User avatar Trin Tragula says:

      3 stars
I dunno, I tried making meatballs in the air fryer once and they came out dry. Maybe I cooked them too long? 🤔

  52. User avatar randall.jacobi says:

    5 stars
These meatballs were a hit with my family! So juicy and flavorful.

  53. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

    5 stars
These meatballs turned out great! Crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Will make again! 😊

  54. User avatar Draugr Scourge says:

Meatballs? Who eats that? I prefer salad.

    1. User avatar hiram.corkery54 says:

      5 stars
Meatballs are delicious! Perfect for those days when you need protein. Salad’s good too, but meatballs have flavor! 😋

    2. User avatar riley.waelchi15 says:

      2 stars
I don’t get it. Meatballs are just ground beef rolled up. Salad is way healthier! Who wants all that fat?

  55. User avatar sally.marquardt48 says:

    3 stars
The meatballs fell apart in the fryer 😭. What did I do wrong? Should I add more breadcrumbs?

    1. 4 stars
Sounds like you might have overmixed the meat! That can make them tough and fall apart. Adding more breadcrumbs can help bind it better, but don’t overdo it! 🍽️

  56. 4 stars
I was skeptical at first. Air fryer meatballs? Really? But wow, they were actually really good. I used turkey instead of beef tho.

  57. User avatar stanford.herzog51 says:

    3 stars
The instruction says don’t overmix, but my meat mixture was kinda dry? I followed it exactly though. Maybe my egg was smaller. Flavor was still decent.

    1. 4 stars
That sounds like you did everything right—if they turned out a bit dry, I’m guessing the air fryer temp/time or the beef lean-to-fat ratio could’ve been off. 80/20 really helps; if yours was leaner it can get dry fast. Also breadcrumbs can vary a lot by brand, so maybe you had more than intended. Still glad the flavor was decent though!

    2. User avatar ernesto.herman1974 says:

      3 stars
Huh maybe you overmixed “kinda.” 😂 But also 10 min can be short depending on your air fryer. Next time try 12–14 minutes or check internal temp (165°F / 74°C). Dry meatballs are the worst.

  58. User avatar tissues_with_issues says:

    3 stars
Just okay. I think they needed more flavor. Maybe more garlic? Or something spicy???

  59. 5 stars
These meatballs were so good! Better than I thought they would be. My kids loved them!

    1. 3 stars
Better than expected? That’s kinda surprising. I mean, how good can meatballs really be? They look easy to make tho.

    2. User avatar jordan.murazik says:

      5 stars
I’m glad to hear that! These meatballs are a hit with kids! My son can be picky, but he devoured them too!

  60. User avatar shila.bogisich1982 says:

    5 stars
Easy recipe! I added some chili flakes for a kick. Next time I’ll try with chicken. Yum!

  61. 5 stars
Just made these in my new air fryer! Wow, I think I’m in love! ❤️

    1. User avatar kris.pfannerstill49 says:

      3 stars
I dunno, I’ve tried air frying before and wasn’t impressed. Maybe I did it wrong? 🤔

    2. 5 stars
That’s awesome! Air fryers really make things so easy and delicious! What sauce did you use? 😊

  62. User avatar bud.deckow1956 says:

    5 stars
These taste like meatballs should. The garlic + Parmesan combo is chef-y without being hard. Would definitely double the batch and freeze.

  63. User avatar clorinda.price38 says:

    5 stars
Delish! But I added some chili flakes for kick. Spice it up! 🌶️

  64. User avatar max.hills14 says:

    5 stars
I’m skeptical about air fryer meatballs, but wow—garlic + Parmesan combo is legit. Mine cooked in batches and took closer to 12 minutes, but that might be my air fryer.

    1. User avatar nick.upton says:

      5 stars
I get why you’re skeptical—air fryers can be hit or miss—but the garlic + Parmesan is such a strong flavor base. I’ve done them at 400°F too and 10 min was just about right for 1.5-inch. Batch cooking definitely changes things.

  65. User avatar cristopher.ward14 says:

    4 stars
My family loved these! Perfect for pasta night, they’re super flavorful.

  66. User avatar monroe.lebsack50 says:

    5 stars
These meatballs are so easy to make! I love that they come out crispy in the air fryer.

  67. 5 stars
Yummy meat!!! 10/10 would meatball again!

  68. User avatar art.simonis says:

    5 stars
These meatballs are the best! I can’t believe how juicy they turned out in the air fryer. Will make again!

  69. User avatar kelly.feest1953 says:

    4 stars
Can I bake them in the oven instead? I don’t own an air fryer. Anyone tried that?

  70. 5 stars
My air fryer must run hot because 10 minutes was perfect—no extra time needed. The Parmesan smell is unreal. 10/10 comfort food.

  71. 4 stars
Followed the recipe pretty much exactly. Mine were a tiny bit dry, but I think I overcooked by a couple minutes. Next time I’ll pull them sooner—good otherwise.

  72. User avatar eldridge.oconner2007 says:

    3 stars
Why do you need so much cheese? Can’t it just be meat? I’m skeptical about all this extra stuff.

    1. User avatar bobbie.keeling30 says:

      4 stars
I think the cheese adds flavor and moisture! Meat alone can be kinda dry. Give it a chance!

    2. User avatar virgen.windler82 says:

      2 stars
Cheese? What’s the point? Meatballs should be just meat. Sounds like a waste to me.

  73. User avatar mariano.durgan says:

    2 stars
Not sure if I did it right, but my meatballs fell apart in the fryer. Sadface.

    1. User avatar nicholas.russel says:

      4 stars
Don’t worry! It happens. Maybe try adding a bit more breadcrumbs next time? That might help them hold together better.

    2. User avatar julius.oconnell1973 says:

      3 stars
Wow, I had the same issue! I think my egg wasn’t binding it right. I stuffed myself with them anyway, lol!

  74. 2 stars
My kids didn’t like ‘em. They said it tastes like feet. Not sure what I did wrong, but 🤷‍♂️.

    1. User avatar ArabianNights says:

      3 stars
Tastes like feet? That’s harsh! My husband actually loves these. Kids can be picky, I guess.

    2. User avatar antwan.leannon says:

      4 stars
Sorry to hear that! Maybe they needed more seasoning? My kids love them with extra garlic! 🧄

  75. 3 stars
Not bad, but I think the breadcrumbs amount is a little high? Mine felt slightly dry even though I didn’t overcook them. Next time I’ll adjust the breadcrumbs down and add a touch more garlic.

    1. User avatar tatiana.lebsack22 says:

      3 stars
Hmmm… I actually like the texture with the full 1/2 cup. Mine aren’t dry, but I do make sure the beef is 80/20 and I don’t cook past the 10 minutes.

    2. User avatar Draugr Deathlord says:

      5 stars
Totally agree about the breadcrumbs—1/2 cup seems like it could tip things dry with some brands. I usually start closer to 1/3 cup and it comes out juicier.

  76. User avatar yuette.torp says:

    1 star
This was a fail. They burnt in the air fryer. How do you even mess that up? 😠

    1. User avatar kenny.sipes89 says:

      4 stars
Burnt meatballs? That’s a bummer! Did you check if your air fryer is working right? Sometimes they get too hot. Give it another try! 😅

  77. User avatar kylie.mclaughlin79 says:

    4 stars
I’m skeptical about air frying meatballs, but okay… they browned nicely. The inside was cooked all the way through and not weirdly greasy.

    1. User avatar clyde.miller41 says:

      2 stars
Hmm I’m not convince yet lol. Meatballs usually need some kind of sauce or simmer. Did they come out kinda tough or were they tender?

Totally get the skepticism—air frying always feels like it *should* dry things out. But if yours browned and stayed juicy inside, that’s a win. What temp/time did you end up using?

I didn’t have breadcrumbs so I used crushed up crackers. Still turned out delicious! 🙌

I was skeptical about air-frying meatballs, but this actually worked. Mine took like 12 minutes total because they were bigger than 1.5 inches. Still tasty and not dry.

I’m skeptical about air-fryer meatballs staying tender, but these surprised me. The egg helps a lot. I served over spaghetti and it was a hit.

Why do people add oregano and basil? Meat balls don’t need herbs, just meat and sauce!

Super simple recipe! My kids helped and it was great family fun time 🙂

Not bad, but I’m skeptical about the breadcrumbs amount. 1/2 cup felt like a lot compared to 1 lb meat. Texture was a little bready for me.

Could I use turkey instead of beef? Also, does anyone know if Italian breadcrumbs already have salt? I accidentally used extra salt and it was a bit too much.

    1. User avatar zulma.labadie says:

      5 stars
Yes—turkey should work! I’d go for ground turkey with a little fat (like 85/15) so they don’t dry out. You might need an extra minute or two in the air fryer depending on size.

    2. 4 stars
Italian breadcrumbs usually have salt (and sometimes seasonings too), so since you already overdid it, I’d go lighter on the added salt next time. If you want to be safe, taste the mix before shaping or use a smaller pinch.

Meh. Good flavor, but they shrank a lot and got a bit chewy. Could be my beef was too lean though. I’d try 80/20 like the recipe says next time.

    1. User avatar ezekiel.schmidt33 says:

      4 stars
Yeah, that chewy + shrinkage combo usually screams “too lean” or overcooked. 80/20 really helps keep them juicy—glad you’ll try it next time!

Air fryer? Meatballs?!! Who woulda thought?! 😂 Taste great tho, glad I gave it a shot.

  87. 2 stars
Meh… mine stuck to the basket. I greased it after reading, but still kinda ruined the shape. Sauce helped disguise it. Would try parchment next time.

I used ground turkey instead of beef and they still worked! I didn’t have Italian breadcrumbs so I used plain and added extra oregano. Quick and tasty.

Right?? The air fryer makes them so browned and juicy. 😋 I served mine with marinara—total win.

Yum!! But mine kinda stuck to the basket the first time. Next time I’m gonna spray it way more and flip more carefully.

These came out super juicy for air-fryer meatballs—browning was actually great. I added a little extra garlic and the flavor really popped. Will make again!

  91. 5 stars
I used fresh garlic (more than 2 cloves) and added a pinch of red pepper flakes. Wow. They came out like real Italian meatballs—crispy outside, soft inside.

    1. User avatar Sand-Dial says:

      5 stars
That sounds awesome—fresh garlic + a little heat is exactly how I like them too. Crispy outside/soft inside is the goal!

    2. User avatar oPandariaNo says:

      4 stars
I’m not sure about the red pepper flakes… but if you say they taste like Italian meatballs, I’ll try it. Did you still cook the full 10 minutes at 400°F?

Great recipe. One question: do you have to flip? I forgot once and they were still okay. Lol.

  93. User avatar tatiana.buckridge82 says:

    3 stars
Pretty good, but I think 1/2 cup breadcrumbs was a bit much for my mix—felt slightly bready. Next time I’ll use a little less and maybe add a splash of milk or something.

  94. User avatar jared.lemke says:

Just made these—super easy. Mine browned nicely after the flip and they stayed juicy (used 85/15 beef). The garlic and oregano combo is spot on. Will do again.

Honestly, these were way better than expected. Also, no mess compared to baking. I tossed them in marinara and it held up perfectly.

Can confirm Parmesan is clutch. If you use the finely grated kind, it blends way nicer. I didn’t have Italian breadcrumbs so I used plain and added Italian seasoning—still fine.

Simple ingredients, great results. I might try adding chopped parsley next time for a fresher flavor, but as written it’s solid.

Totally agree—simple ingredients and they still come out juicy. Parsley sounds like a great fresh touch, I’ll try that next time too.

I dunno… 10 minutes feels short for 1.5-inch meatballs at 400°F. Mine usually need longer, but maybe my air fryer runs cooler. Still, solid base recipe.

  98. 3 stars
Okay so I followed it and they stuck to the basket a bit. I shoulda used spray or parchment. Flavor was good though, especially with oregano and basil.

    1. User avatar minna.murray2001 says:

      5 stars
Glad the flavor came through! Yeah, air fryer baskets can be a little sticky—spray or parchment makes a big difference. Next time try a light coat of oil and make sure the meatballs aren’t packed too tightly.

  99. User avatar Marsha Mellow says:

Okay but why do they say don’t overmix—like I’m supposed to just vibe and not mess it up? I probably overmixed and they were a bit tough. Still tasted good.

Tried these tonight—so easy and the outside actually gets that nice browned texture in the air fryer. Mine needed like 12 minutes total, but still perfect with marinara.

  101. User avatar Dr. Lon Lynch says:

Not bad at all, but mine were a tiny bit dry even though I didn’t overmix. Next time I’ll try 75/25 beef or maybe add a splash of milk to the mix. Still tasty!

  102. User avatar alfonso.kozey says:

These came out juicy and browned perfectly in my air fryer. Flipping halfway helped a lot. I used Italian breadcrumbs and it definitely boosted the flavor.

  103. User avatar antonia.quigley1966 says:

Pretty solid basic recipe. Next time I’ll add a splash of Worcestershire (because why not) and make the meatballs closer to 1.25 inches for quicker cooking.

  104. 5 stars
Simple and good. My kid ate them with no complaints. Will make again. 😅

  105. User avatar solomon.koss says:

The cook time depends so much on the meatballs size—mine were smaller so 10 minutes was perfect. If you follow the 1.5-inch size they probably come out great.

  106. 2 stars
Way too much pepper for my taste. Also, the oregano and basil being “optional” confused me—ended up adding both and it tasted kinda like pizza seasoning in a bad way.

  107. User avatar Lenny Koch says:

Made these tonight—so juicy for air-fryer meatballs! I used 90/10 beef and they were still great. Flipped at 5 min and got a nice browning.

  108. User avatar roberto.fahey says:

400°F is aggressive 😅 I cooked at that temp and some of mine got a little too dark on the outside before the middle was fully done. I would lower to 380°F or cook longer.

These are legit. The Parmesan + garlic combo is doing the heavy lifting. I used 85/15 beef and they came out juicy.

    1. 5 stars
Yes!! Parmesan + garlic is the magic combo. I’m glad they stayed juicy with 85/15—that’s exactly what I hope folks get from these.
