Tomato and Rice Pasta Dish

Ingredients

  • 500 g Pasta
  • 1 fl oz Tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Rice
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Oregano

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a separate pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil, add the rice and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain excess water if necessary.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cooked rice and stir for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and oregano to the skillet. Cook until heated through, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Toss the cooked pasta in with the rice and tomato mixture, and combine well.
  • Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve warm.
