Ingredients
- 5 lb Chicken
- 1 tbsp Dried rosemary
- 1 tbsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 piece Garlic
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the chicken under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the dried rosemary, black pepper, and salt.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get it under the skin for more flavor.
- Crush the garlic and place it inside the cavity of the chicken.
- Place the chicken on a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
