Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice
- 10 piece Tomatoes
- 50 g Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Basil
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the rice and toast for 2 minutes.
- Chop the tomatoes into small pieces and add them to the pot, stirring well.
- Add 2 cups of water, salt, black pepper, and basil. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover.
- Cook for about 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in the cheese until melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Cheesy Tomato Rice!
