Cheesy Tomato Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice
  • 10 piece Tomatoes
  • 50 g Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Basil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • In a pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the rice and toast for 2 minutes.
  • Chop the tomatoes into small pieces and add them to the pot, stirring well.
  • Add 2 cups of water, salt, black pepper, and basil. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover.
  • Cook for about 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  • Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in the cheese until melted.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Cheesy Tomato Rice!
