Ingredients
- 2 piece Tomatoes
- 1 cup Cooked jasmine rice
- 150 g Beef
- 50 g Cheese
- 1 piece Carrots
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop out the insides gently, reserving the pulp.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Grate the carrot and add it to the beef, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in the cooked jasmine rice and the reserved tomato pulp. Season with salt, black pepper, and oregano.
- Remove from heat, stir in the cheese until melted and well incorporated.
- Stuff the mixture into the hollowed tomatoes.
- Place the stuffed tomatoes in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the tomatoes are tender.
- Serve hot, garnishing with additional cheese if desired.
