I tried to make these for my kids, but they just threw them away. I guess they like nuggets better. 😔

Honestly, I don’t like turkey much but these were OK. Still prefer chicken though.

    1. User avatar myrtie.collins says:

I get that! Chicken is more flavorful than turkey for sure. But these croquettes are still worth a try, especially with that garlic. 😋

Wasn’t a fan, honestly tasted kinda bland. Maybe needs more spices?

  4. 3 stars
Too oily for my taste, but my kids devoured them. Next time I’ll bake instead. 3 stars.

The recipe looks easy but I mess up the frying part. They ended up burnt and not crispy. Not sure if I’ll try again.

  6. 2 stars
Why do you need to use turkey? Chicken works too, right? Just seems like a waste of turkey.

My grandma made something like this. But it was with chicken not turkey. I feel like the taste is different? Just me? 🤔

I totally get where you’re coming from! Chicken definitely has a different flavor profile. But turkey croquettes are yummy in their own way! 😋

Doesn’t this require a bit too much mayonnaise? I feel like it could be overwhelming for some people.

  12. User avatar ArabianNights says:

    3 stars
I think the ratio of turkey to breadcrumbs is off. My croquettes ended up too dry. Might try adding more mayo next time.

Can I bake these instead of frying? I hate oil in my food.

    1. User avatar Mr. Denese VonRueden says:

      4 stars
Sure, you can bake them! Just preheat your oven to 400°F and bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway. They might not be as crispy but it’s healthier!

    2. User avatar billy.medhurst says:

      2 stars
Nuh uh! It won’t taste the same if you bake. Frying is best for croquettes, otherwise they be soggy or bland.

  17. User avatar colby.luettgen24 says:

    3 stars
A little too much mayo for me. Next time I’ll cut back on that.

  18. User avatar kirby.romaguera65 says:

What’s wrong with using chicken instead of turkey? They would work the same and be cheaper!

I dunno about these. My turkey turned out dry and the mixture was hard to shape. Maybe I did it wrong? 2/5

    1. User avatar Woodrow Kuhn says:

      2 stars
Hmmm, I think you might have overcooked the turkey. Even if you don’t have turkey, you can use chicken! It’s all good if you get it moist. 1/5 for you!

    2. User avatar jamison.wintheiser2021 says:

      4 stars
I had the same issue! The mixture was super sticky for me too. Maybe try letting it chill in the fridge for a bit before shaping? Hope that helps! 🍗
