Oreo truffles are the perfect bite-sized indulgence, combining the rich, familiar flavor of Oreos with a smooth, creamy center, all coated in decadent chocolate. These no-bake treats are easy to make and require just a few ingredients, making them ideal for last-minute celebrations, holiday gatherings, or as a sweet snack when you’re craving something special. Whether you’re an Oreo lover or simply enjoy rich, chocolatey desserts, these truffles are a must-try.
The base of an Oreo truffle is simple yet irresistible. It starts with crushed Oreo cookies, which are mixed with cream cheese to create a thick, sweet filling. The cream cheese helps bind the cookie crumbs together, giving the truffles a rich, fudgy texture. The result is a smooth, creamy center that’s the perfect contrast to the crunchy cookie crumbs.
Once the mixture is well combined, it’s rolled into small, bite-sized balls and placed on a baking sheet. The next step is to dip each truffle into melted chocolate, either dark, milk, or white chocolate, depending on your preference. The chocolate coating hardens around the truffle, creating a rich, glossy shell that adds an extra layer of sweetness and indulgence.
For added flair, some people choose to drizzle the truffles with more melted chocolate, sprinkle them with crushed Oreos, or even dip them in different types of chocolate to create a beautiful marbled effect. These additions not only enhance the flavor but also make the truffles look even more enticing and festive.
Oreo truffles are versatile and can easily be customized. You can switch up the chocolate coating, add different flavor extracts to the filling, or even dip them in colored sprinkles for special occasions like holidays or birthdays. No matter how you decorate them, they’re sure to be a hit at any gathering.
These truffles are easy to make ahead of time and store in the refrigerator, where they’ll stay fresh for up to a week. With their rich, creamy center and smooth chocolate coating, Oreo truffles are the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth without spending hours in the kitchen.

These Oreo truffles are AMAZING! I made them for a party and everyone loved them. So easy too!
These are so good! I made them for a party and they disappeared in minutes!
Just okay. I expected more. Maybe it’s the brand of Oreos I used?
Just 3 ingredients? I thought there was more to it! But these are super simple and delicious!
Three? That sounds a bit too easy… I wonder if they’ll taste as good as they look.
Yeah, it’s crazy how just three ingredients can make something so yummy! Can’t wait to try this!
Yum! I want to eat them all now!! So rich, I love!
Super easy to make. My kids love them! A bit messy to dip in chocolate tho. Lol.
Too sweet for my taste. Maybe cut down on the chocolate next time?
Looks easy enough, but I might burn the chocolate… idk, im not a good cook.
Not gonna lie, I don’t get the hype. It’s basically just Oreo and cream cheese balls covered in chocolate. That’s fine, but I wouldn’t make it again for the effort.
Eh, they were okay. I felt like the chocolate overpowered the Oreos too much.
I dunno, I think mine came out wrong. The mix was kinda gooey and wouldn’t hold its shape. What’s up with that?
These are soooo good! Made them for a party and they vanished in no time!
These are so yummy! Made them for a party and they were gone in minutes. 5 stars!
Oreo and cream cheese? How is this even a recipe? Doesn’t seem healthy at all.
Are Oreos gluten free? This could be a problem for my friend who’s celiac. Please help!
These truffles is lit! My mom loves em! 10/10 recommend!
Tastes like a chocolate cookie! Love ’em! 4.
Fun recipe, but I messed up the chocolate coating at first. I used chocolate chips that didn’t melt smooth, so I added a tiny bit of oil. After that they looked great.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think using chocolate chips is kinda the problem. Next time try real melting chocolate—oil changes the texture. Still, fixing it is half the battle lol.
I’ve totally had that happen—chocolate chips can be stubborn. A little oil makes sense to help it get smoother. Glad it turned out great!
Too sweet for my taste, but the kids loved them! Might try with less sugar next time.
Truffles are hard and I don’t know how people can make them. Mine just fell apart! 😩
Is this even a real recipe? Seems like anyone could do it. But hey, might be fun.
Looks simple but why not just buy Oreos? Seems like more work for nothing. 🤷♂️
Definitely a real recipe! Super easy and delicious, my kids love making these with me.
I’m not sure why people rave about these. They were okay, but nothing special… 3 stars.
I tried making these but they just wouldn’t stick together. I think I added too much cream cheese?
Super simple recipe! Just make sure to let them chill enough otherwise the chocolate will mess up. 😉
These are so easy and delicious! My kids loved them!
I’m so glad your kids loved them! They really are a hit with my family too!
OMG, I can’t stop eating these! So addictive! Definitely making them again! ❤️
I don’t like cream cheese and was hesitant, but these turned out great! Surprised my family, too! 4 stars!
I’m so glad you liked them! The cream cheese really balances out the sweetness of the Oreos, don’t you think? I can’t believe how easy these are to make!
Really? I don’t like cream cheese either. Does it not taste too much like it? I wonder if I could substitute with something else. 🤔
Honestly, they look delicious but I can’t believe how easy that is. Are they really worth the hype?
Why do you have to chill them?? I just wanna eat them right away!
Yuck! I added too much cream cheese and they wouldn’t stick together. I guess I made a mistake.
Followed the recipe exactly but they didn’t set right…any tips?
Try letting them chill a bit longer! Sometimes they just need that extra time to firm up properly. Good luck!
Just okay. My sister made them, but they were too sweet for me.
Um, why does it say cream cheese?? Isn’t it supposed to be whipping cream? Not the same at all…
Omg! I didn’t even know truffles could be this easy! So yummy! ❤️ 5 stars!
Delish! So simple too, only took me half an hour from start to finish. 🖤
I dont get why you need cream cheese? Can I leave it out? Sounded good till I read that part.
OMG this is the best recipe ever! I can’t stop eating them!
I tried to make these and they just fell apart! I think it was too hot in my kitchen. Anyone else have that issue? 2 stars.
Eh, I thought they were overrated. Just crumbled cookies covered in chocolate.
I totally disagree! These are so good! You gotta try making them with different toppings too.
These truffles are amazing! So rich and chocolatey, I can’t stop eating them!
Oreo good, chocolate good, truffles good. Yum! Will eat again.
Right? These are so addictive! I can’t stop eating them.
These Oreo truffles are to die for! I make them for every party and they’re always a hit. So easy!
I totally agree! I made these for my kid’s birthday, and they were gone in minutes!
I don’t know… they seem a bit too sweet for me. Wouldn’t the cream cheese and chocolate be a bit much?
Simple and delicious! My kids helped with rolling the balls, it was a fun activity.
Not bad but oreos aren’t my fav, made with different cookies instead. Still worked out!
Omg yum! I added a sprinkle of sea salt on top – took it to the next level!
I don’t get how people like these. They taste too sweet and the texture is weird. Not for me.
Okay so… I forgot to chill them long enough and the chocolate slide off 😅 Still ate them immediately and they tasted like cheesecake in truffle form. Will try again properly.
I can’t believe how quick these were to make. I didn’t have a food processor and used a regular blender instead, still worked fine!
Not a fan of cream cheese, so I swapped it for mascarpone. Turned out amazing!
Tastes great but they were a bit too sweet for my liking. Maybe half the chocolate next time?
I just used regular chocolate chips and they turned out fine. Not as fancy, but still delish!
I was skeptical about mixing cream cheese with Oreos, but they turned out surprisingly good. Will make again!
Not bad, but I wish the instructions mentioned how thick the chocolate should be. Mine were a bit thin and I could see the filling through. Tasty though!
I followed the recipe but they didn’t turn out like the pictures. They were too soft and fell apart. 😞
Really easy to make! My kids loved helping out and they taste so good! Definitely a hit at the party.
I made these for a party, and they were gone in seconds! Huge hit!
I dunno, seems too easy. Are they even that good? I guess I’ll try but I’m skeptical.
YUMMMM 10/10 would recommend 🍫
I agree! These are so delicious! They were a hit at my party! 😍
Yumm! I added some mint extract to the mix and it was delish!
Not sure if mint really goes with chocolate though. Sounds kinda weird.
Mint extract? That’s a unique twist! Might have to try that next time. Thanks for the tip!
These are sooo yummy! I made them for a party and they were gone in minutes!
I can’t believe how quickly they disappeared! Definitely going to try this for my next gathering.
They look good, but I don’t trust no recipe with so much sugar. Are they actually healthy or just dessert?
I’m skeptical about “melted chocolate” like it’s one-size-fits-all. I had to temper a little because my coating looked streaky at first. Still, the flavor is on point.
Mine stuck to the parchment when I tried to move them at first, so I’d recommend setting them somewhere cool and not rushing. After that they were great.
These are so easy to make and absolutely delicious! My family devoured them in minutes! Definitely a 5-star recipe!
I followed it pretty closely, but mine were kind of crumbly when shaping. Next time I’ll make sure the cream cheese is really softened (mine was still a little cold).
These came out dangerously good. The texture is super creamy inside, and the chocolate shell actually snaps a bit. I used dark chocolate and it made them feel fancy.
Dangerously good is right 😄 The snap is my favorite part too—so fancy for basically no work. Did you dip more than once or keep it one coat?
Yummy, gonna make these again! Thanks for the recipe!
I tried these last week and they were a hit! So easy to make too.
I don’t get why people like these so much. They just taste like chocolate and Oreos, nothing special.
I can totally see why you’d feel that way, but they hit just right for a quick treat! It’s all about the sweet, creamy combo! 😋
How come this is so popular? Cookies and cream isn’t that great. 🤷♂️
Meh… mine were a little too soft and kind of crumbled when I tried to dip them. Maybe my cream cheese was too warm? Still tasted good though.
Hmmm mine crumbled too when I dipped fast. I also accidentally used “melted” cream cheese once (lol don’t do that). Let them chill longer and make sure the chocolate isn’t too hot. Still good though, so yeah!
That sounds like the cream cheese might’ve been a bit too soft—15 minutes may be just barely enough depending on your kitchen temp. I’ve had luck chilling the formed balls closer to 20–30 minutes before dipping so they stay firm.
Yummy!!! Made them for a potluck, they disappeared fast! 5!
Super easy, I did it while the oven was off (lol). Kids loved them. Would eat like… all of them.
lol that’s the best kind of success 😂 My kids would absolutely devour these too. Oreo + cream cheese is basically cheating.
I think I put too much choclate. Oops! Still taste good tho!
Oops is right! But honestly, who doesn’t love extra chocolate? You’re good! Just don’t overdo it next time, haha.
Too much chocolate? Is there such a thing? 😂 I say the more, the merrier! Glad they still taste good!
I did not have chocolate so I used peanut butter instead. They were…not great. 1 star.
Peanut butter? Really? That’s not even close to the real deal. No wonder they turned out bad. Stick to the recipe next time!
Easy and no-bake—perfect for when you want dessert without turning on the oven. I chilled mine a little longer than 15 minutes because mine were soft, but that worked great.
These turned out way better than I expected—so creamy inside. I chilled a bit longer than 15 minutes and the dipping was perfect. 10/10 for Oreo lovers!
I accidentally used double-stuffed Oreos and thought it would be gross, but honestly it’s better—more sweet and gooey. Would make again for sure.
36 cookies makes a lot of truffles right? I felt like my batch was smaller than expected. Maybe my balls were bigger, but I’d love a yield estimate.
