This recipe is soooo good! I loved the sweetness from the maple syrup with the butternut squash. Definitely making it again!
I wasn’t sure about maple syrup on squash, but it actually works! Great recipe.
I’m glad you gave it a try! Maple syrup really does bring out the sweetness in the squash. Yum!
This is super delicious! The maple syrup really makes a difference. My family loved it! 🙌
So easy to make but I burnt mine a bit. Gotta watch the time better next time haha.
OMG this was soooo good 😍! I added a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor. Will def make again!
This took forever to cook, maybe my oven is broken? Anyway, the taste was okay.
Yummy recipe! I added some cinnamon for extra flavor. Perfect for fall!
OMG! I made this last night and couldn’t stop eating it! Sooooo good!
This dish was a hit at my Thanksgiving dinner! The maple flavor really shines through!
I don’t know about this recipe. Butternut squash with maple syrup? Just sounds weird. 🤔
Honestly, I thought it was too sweet for my taste. Maybe I’ll try less maple syrup next time, or none at all!
Easy to make but my squash didn’t caramelize really. Maybe I should have left it longer?
Yeah, I think leaving it in longer could help with caramelization. I usually roast mine for at least 45 minutes! Just keep an eye on it.
Wounderful!!! I added some nutmeg for extra flavor. My friends loved it! 10 outta 10!
What’s up with mixing sweet and savory? Not my thing. This went straight to the bin.
I get that mixing sweet and savory isn’t for everyone. But I think the maple syrup really enhances the flavor of the butternut squash! You should give it another shot, maybe with less syrup? 😄
I dunno, that sounds weird to me too. But maybe u just need to try it with different sweet stuff? Like honey? Idk, but gotta admit, sounds kinda good 🤷.
This dish was a hit at our dinner table! The maple syrup adds such a nice sweetness to the squash. Will definitely make again!
This sounds delicious! Never thought to use maple syrup with squash. Gonna try it for sure!
Too sweet for my taste. I don’t know what all the fuss is about. I prefer my veggies savory.
Yummy! I used honey instead of maple syrup and it was still good. 👌
Simple and tasty! I’ve never cooked butternut squash before but this recipe made it easy. Thanks!
Good recpie
Meh, not for me. My kids wouldn’t eat it and I thought it was bland. Frustrating!
So delish 😍
Totally agree! I’ve made this twice this week, it’s that good! ❤️
Is it really healthier than regular fries? Seems kinda like dessert…LOL.
IDK, sounds like dessert to me! How can squash be healthier when it’s glazed with maple syrup? That’s sugar!
Haha, I see your point! It does have that sweet vibe. But it’s still way better than greasy fries, right?
Do I really need to peel the squash? Can’t I just leave the skin on? Seems like a lot of work.
You don’t HAVE to peel it, but it might be tough. The skin can get chewy, especially when roasted. Maybe try it both ways and see what you like? Just a thought!
Can you use a different type of squash? I have spaghetti squash at home. What do you think?
