A delicious side dish of roasted Brussels sprouts and carrots glazed with honey and balsamic vinegar for a sweet and tangy flavor that’s perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 200 grams Brussels sprouts halved
- 200 grams carrots sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts and carrots with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the vegetables out in an even layer on a large baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- While the vegetables are roasting, mix balsamic vinegar and honey in a small bowl.
- After 20 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven, drizzle the balsamic honey mixture over the vegetables, and toss to coat.
- Return to the oven and roast for an additional 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and caramelized.

I don’t know… I usually hate Brussels sprouts. I tried this recipe because my friend said it was good, but I still didn’t like it. The honey was too sweet for me.
