Healthy Strawberry Milkshakes

January 20, 2025

Healthy strawberry milkshakes are the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth while still keeping things nutritious. With their vibrant pink color, creamy texture, and fresh fruit flavor, these milkshakes are a delightful treat that can easily be enjoyed as a snack or even a light dessert. Unlike traditional milkshakes, which can be loaded with sugar and high-fat dairy, this healthier version uses wholesome ingredients to create a refreshing and indulgent drink without the guilt.

The star of this milkshake is, of course, the strawberries. Fresh or frozen strawberries provide natural sweetness, vitamins, and antioxidants, making them a fantastic base for a healthy treat. Their tangy flavor pairs beautifully with the creamy elements that make this milkshake rich and satisfying.

To make the milkshake creamy without adding heavy cream or ice cream, Greek yogurt is a great choice. It not only gives the shake a thick, smooth texture but also adds a dose of protein and probiotics, making it a nourishing option. You can also use unsweetened almond milk or any other plant-based milk to keep it dairy-free, while still keeping the shake light and creamy.

For a touch of sweetness without going overboard, a small amount of honey, maple syrup, or a natural sweetener like stevia can be added to balance the tartness of the strawberries. If you’re looking for an extra boost of nutrition, you can add a handful of spinach, chia seeds, or flaxseeds for added fiber and omega-3s without compromising the flavor.

The beauty of healthy strawberry milkshakes is how customizable they are. You can adjust the sweetness to your liking, switch up the base with different types of milk, or even throw in a few extras like protein powder or a splash of vanilla extract for a twist.

These milkshakes are the perfect treat when you’re craving something sweet but want to keep things on the healthier side. Refreshing, creamy, and full of flavor, healthy strawberry milkshakes are a delicious way to enjoy the taste of summer year-round.

I don’t get how this can be called healthy. It’s just yogurt and sugar. No thanks.

  4. 2 stars
I dunno, I thought it needed somethin more… like maybe some chocolate?

      3 stars

3 stars only bc I messed up. I added too much ice and it became like a smoothie, not a milkshake. My fault, but still.

Can I use frozen strawberries? I don’t have fresh ones.

    1. User avatar ila.okuneva2021 says:

Yes, frozen strawberries will work just fine! Just blend them straight from the freezer.

  24. User avatar maynard.russel64 says:

    4 stars
I followed it exactly but my blender struggled with the ice cubes. After blending longer it finally got thick enough. Flavor is still great though!

  25. 3 stars
Not gonna lie, I’m skeptical of the “healthy” claim. It’s basically milkshake with yogurt… still tasty, but I wouldn’t call it a health food miracle.

  26. 4 stars
Yum! So refreshing for the summer heat! I love it!

  27. 5 stars
Who would have thought honey in a shake would be so good? I’m using this next BBQ!

    1. 4 stars
I’m sorry to hear that! Maybe they just prefer something sweeter? You could add more honey next time!

    2. 3 stars
That’s weird! I love it. Kids can be picky sometimes. Did you use fresh strawberries?

  32. User avatar Samwise Gamgee says:

    5 stars
This shake is AMAZING! 😍 Perfectly sweet and so refreshing! My kids devoured it.

  33. User avatar dion.zemlak says:

The recipe sounds nice, but are strawberries really that healthy? I feel like there’s sugar in everything, ya know?

  34. User avatar w00d_ch0p says:

    3 stars
I tried making this but used almond milk instead. It was okay, but I think regular milk would be better.

  35. 5 stars
Yesss! Perfect for summer! I’ve made it twice this week already! 🍓🥛

Why would anyone put ice in a milkshake? Ruins the flavor! 🤨

  37. User avatar enoch.herzog34 says:

    1. User avatar cherelle.white says:

I actually love the sweetness! But yeah, everyone has different tastes. That teaspoon idea might work well too!

    2. User avatar lamont.stehr says:

      2 stars
Nah, honey is good for ya! It’s natural and all. Just don’t skimp on it too much, you may miss the flavor.

  41. User avatar bailey.wilkinson33 says:

    3 stars
I didn’t have yogurt, so I used sour cream. Still tasted okay, not great though.

  42. User avatar fredricka.runte61 says:

    2. 5 stars
I’m so glad you liked it! Almond milk is a great choice, makes it even healthier! 😊

  43. User avatar Falmer Gloomlurker says:

    5 stars
This is delicious!!! I added a banana too, gives it a nice twist!

    1. 5 stars
Wow, a banana sounds like a great addition! I gotta try that next time!

    2. 2 stars
I doubt a banana would fit in milkshake. Strawberries are fine alone lol.

  44. 3 stars
I followed the recipe exactly, but my shake turned out too runny. Maybe should’ve added less milk?

  45. User avatar rossana.fahey2010 says:

    2 stars
Meh, it was just alright. Not as sweet as I expected, maybe I need to add more honey next time.

  46. User avatar Leon Borer says:

    2 stars
I don’t think Greek yogurt belongs in a milkshake… should stick to ice cream!

  47. User avatar louie.koelpin40 says:

My kids loved this! They can’t even tell there’s yogurt in it. Healthy and tasty!

  48. User avatar deandrea.trantow says:

This was so good! I added a banana too, yumm!

    1. User avatar tammi.kuphal says:

      5 stars
Banana in a milkshake? That’s a great idea! Can’t wait to try it like that!

  49. 3 stars
Super easy, but my blender struggled with the ice cubes. I ended up crushing them first and it worked. Strawberry flavor is nice and fresh.

  50. User avatar Deep Thought says:

    1 star
Yuck! This was too tart for my taste. I guess strawberries are more sour than I thought. 🤢

This drink makes me feel all healthy and stuff. Love it! Can I use banana instead of strawberries?

    1. 3 stars
Bananas? Really? I mean, why not, but it ain’t the same drink no more. Just saying…

    2. User avatar ricky.dubuque63 says:

      5 stars
Glad you love it! 😄 You can definitely use banana instead of strawberries! It’ll be a different flavor, but still yummy!

  52. User avatar sara.maggio89 says:

    5 stars
    One word: amazing.

    1. User avatar Mr. Prosser says:

      5 stars
Love this! The combo of fresh strawberries + Greek yogurt makes it taste so fresh and creamy. 😋

    2. 4 stars
Wow, it’s actually that easy? I’ll try it, but I might use frozen strawberries cuz fresh is kinda expensive here lol.

  53. 4 stars
Can I use frozen strawberries instead? Fresh ones are too expensive here.

  54. User avatar charles.anderson12 says:

    2 stars
It’s too sweet for my taste. I think I added too much honey.

  55. User avatar Gandalf the Grey says:

    4 stars
I tried it with vegan yogurt and almond milk—good texture, but the flavor felt a tiny bit muted. Still a solid quick recipe though.

  56. User avatar hilton.kreiger14 says:

    2 stars
Yuk, this tasted weird to me. Maybe I put too much yogurt??

  57. User avatar Falmer Warmonger says:

Did not turn out like the picture. Very disappointed!

    1. User avatar ArabianNights says:

      4 stars
I’m sorry it didn’t work out! Maybe the strawberries weren’t ripe enough? They can really make a difference!

    2. 3 stars
Honestly, I think it’s just hard to get the perfect shake every time. But you tried! That’s what matters.

  61. User avatar denis.connelly65 says:

    2 stars
I just don’t get why it’s called a milkshake if there’s no ice cream. Kinda disappointed.

  62. User avatar charla.little says:

    2 stars
I don’t think this looks healthy at all, too much sugar in honey 😒. Maybe try using stevia instead?

  63. User avatar Warren Piece says:

    5 stars
I just threw everything in the blender, didn’t measure anything lol. Still turned out great!

  64. User avatar marylou.parisian says:

    5 stars
Great recipe! I’m so glad I found this. My kids love it, and it’s healthy!

  65. 4 stars
Didn’t have honey, so I used sugar. Still tasted nice!

  66. User avatar NAFO.SUPREMACY says:

    1 star
Milkshakes r for ice cream, not yogurt.

    1. User avatar art.crist1998 says:

      4 stars
I get your point, but this recipe is a healthier twist! Yogurt can actually make it super creamy too. Give it a try!

  67. User avatar sandee.torphy says:

    3 stars
Simple ingredients, easy to make, but the blender was too loud! Ugh. But it was yummy.

  68. 4 stars
I made it with almond milk and it was still super good! Will make again for sure.

  69. 2 stars
Where’s the chocolate? Strawberry milkshake without chocolate is like a car without wheels.

  70. User avatar luciano.brekke2012 says:

    5 stars
Super refreshing! I think I’m going to try with other fruits too! 🍓🍌

  71. User avatar marquerite.strosin36 says:

    4 stars
Honestly, pretty good. I couldn’t find fresh berries so I used frozen strawberries and it still came out thick. Next time I’ll blend a bit longer for extra smoothness.

  72. 5 stars
Yum! I added a scoop of protein powder and it was perfect for my workout! 🏋️‍♂️

  73. 3 stars
Okayish. Not as thick as I thought it would be. Maybe I should’ve added more ice?

  74. 4 stars
Great recipe, but I used frozen strawberries and it wasn’t as good. Fresh makes a big difference!

  75. User avatar kelsie.luettgen says:

    3 stars
Not bad, but I wanted it thicker, like a shake, this was more like a smoothie I think.

  76. 5 stars
Made this today and it’s seriously creamy without being heavy. I used non-dairy milk and it still tasted great. Added a tiny extra honey—perfect.

    1. 5 stars
Love hearing that! The strawberry + Greek yogurt combo usually makes it super thick, but “creamy without heavy” is exactly what I’m after. Non-dairy milk works too? Nice tip.

  77. 2 stars
Greek yogurt makes it too tangy for my taste. Next time I’d probably use a vanilla yogurt or add a bit more honey.

  78. User avatar Gag Halfrunt says:

    4 stars
Easy to make and healthy! But I’d rather have ice cream haha.

  79. User avatar julian.feeney93 says:

    5 stars
Quick n easy! Just blended it in 5 mins and my kids loved it. Thx!

  80. User avatar morris.bins84 says:

    5 stars
Strawberry yum! I added a little chocolate syrup for fun, and it was amazing!

    1. User avatar wilber.vandervort says:

      5 stars
Chocolate syrup sounds like a delicious twist! Can’t wait to try it.

  81. User avatar Slartibartfast says:

    3 stars
Honestly, I think I blended too long and it got kinda foamy. Still good, just not as thick as I wanted.

    1. 5 stars
Totally get that—foamy usually means it was blended a bit too long or at too high a speed for too long. Next time, try blending the strawberry base just until smooth, then add the ice and pulse a few times instead of keeping it going.

  82. User avatar truman.bosco says:

    3 stars
Pretty good but too sweet for my taste. Might cut back on the honey next time.

    1. User avatar neil.rutherford2011 says:

      3 stars
Too sweet? Nah, I love honey! But I guess some folks don’t like it. Just use less if you want. Simple solution!

    2. User avatar fermin.herzog says:

      4 stars
I think it’s great! But yeah, honey can be a lot sometimes. You can always add less. Try adding some more strawberries next time for balance!

  83. User avatar jae.hilpert1992 says:

    4 stars
I used non-dairy milk and it came out creamy. Honestly felt like dessert without the heavy feeling after. Will make again.

  84. User avatar lyle.wisozk says:

    4 stars
I followed it exactly but my honey amount felt too sweet, so I backed it off. Still tasty though. The texture with Greek yogurt was great.

  85. 3 stars
Looks healthy, but I’m not sure about honey + strawberries—seems like it could be too sweet depending on the berries.

  86. User avatar perry.oconnell1990 says:

    3 stars
This is healthy-ish but still basically sugar + milk. If you’re watching calories, do the math—honey adds up.

  87. 2 stars
Recipe is okay, but 1 cup strawberries isn’t enough for the flavor I want. I’d double the fruit or add some banana.

  88. User avatar rueben.sawayn1 says:

    5 stars
I didn’t have honey so I used sugar…still tasted great! Milkshakes are the best.

  89. User avatar vance.kutch73 says:

    4 stars
Idk why people say it’s “healthy” like that matters… but it’s still tasty. Also I forgot the vanilla and it was fine.

  90. User avatar Feyd-Rautha Rabban says:

    4 stars
I used frozen strawberries because that’s what I had, and it worked fine. The texture was a little thicker than expected, but I just added a splash more milk.

  91. User avatar deana.heidenreich says:

    2 stars
Idk why but mine turned out kinda tart and thin. Maybe my strawberries weren’t ripe? I might add a banana to thicken.

  92. User avatar reginald.jacobi33 says:

    4 stars
Pretty good—tastes like a lighter milkshake. I might reduce the honey next time because mine was a bit sweet, but overall solid.

  93. User avatar dwight.rohan says:

    3 stars
Not sure if it’s “milkshake” enough… it’s more like a blended yogurt drink. Also I ran out of vanilla so I skipped it and it was fine. Would I make again? maybe.

    1. 5 stars
Honestly I think “milkshake” is a vibe more than a strict definition 😄 This sounds like a legit blended strawberry yogurt drink—still super creamy. And skipping vanilla is totally fine; honey will carry the flavor.

    2. User avatar Draugr Deathlord says:

      4 stars
Maybe it’s not a real milkshake without vanilla and more milkfat, but if it tastes good who cares. I’ve done these with yogurt-only and it turned out thick like a smoothie… still nice though. I’d try it again!

  94. 4 stars
Not gonna lie, my blender struggled with the ice at first. After blending a little longer it got smooth, but I’d add crushed ice next time.

    1. User avatar ozzie.hill30 says:

      5 stars
Totally get that—my blender does the same thing with cubes. If I use crushed ice (or pulse the cubes first), it usually comes out way smoother. Love the tip about blending longer too!

  95. User avatar edward.crist90 says:

    5 stars
Wow—so easy. I made it in like 5 minutes. SO good.

    1. User avatar deirdre.terry says:

      5 stars
Right?? I tried it too and it really is that fast. The strawberry + Greek yogurt combo tastes way richer than I expected.

    2. User avatar jamie.sipes says:

      4 stars
I wanna try but 5 minutes seems suspicious 😅 Mine always takes longer with getting the strawberries smooth. Still, sounds good—did you use a high speed blender?

  96. User avatar lydia.baumbach79 says:

    4 stars
Not bad at all. I was worried it would taste too tart, but the honey balances it. Next time I’ll add a few more ice cubes for a thicker shake.

    1. User avatar phyllis.lowe says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—honey really does the trick with the tartness. Adding extra ice cubes makes sense too; I’ll try that next time for a thicker, more milkshake-like texture.

  97. 3 stars
Mine turned out kinda thick and icy even after blending a lot. Maybe I should’ve used less ice? Otherwise flavor was nice.

  98. User avatar sal.dickinson2024 says:

    3 stars
Could be just me, but mine came out kind of sour. Maybe my yogurt was too tangy. I’ll try sweeter yogurt next time.

  99. 4 stars
Not bad, but mine came out a little too tart. Next time I’ll bump the honey and maybe add a couple more strawberry slices.

  100. User avatar smartestRedditor says:

    5 stars
Not gonna lie, I thought “healthy” meant it would taste boring… but the vanilla + honey combo is legit.

  101. User avatar Kattie Reilly says:

    5 stars
5/5. My kid asked for seconds and I was like ok wow. Strawberry + honey + vanilla is a winning combo.

  102. User avatar kasey.willms37 says:

    4 stars
I used frozen strawberries and it worked great. Just blend a bit longer with the ice so it doesn’t stay chunky.

  103. 1 star
This is kinda bland. Honey didn’t fix it for me. Also, 1 cup strawberries feels like not enough? Idk.

    1. User avatar jonas.murazik26 says:

      3 stars
I get you—honey can’t always save a shake if the strawberries aren’t that sweet. If yours were kind of tart, try adding a touch more honey or even a banana for sweetness/creaminess.

  104. User avatar Feral Falmer says:

    3 stars
Not great. I expected more flavor from the strawberries.

I followed the steps and it came out smooth, but my blender struggled a little with the ice. Letting the berries sit a minute helped.

    1. User avatar kelly.hegmann says:

      3 stars
Huh, I thought you add the ice right away—never let anything sit lol. Maybe my blender just sucks. Would crushed ice work better?

    2. 5 stars
This makes sense—ice cubes can be stubborn. Letting the berries sit a minute sounds like a great workaround. Glad it still turned out smooth for you!

  106. User avatar wellRespected says:

    2 stars
Strawberry milkshake? More like strawberry smoothie! Couldn’t get it creamy.

  107. 2 stars
My blender struggled with the ice cubes, so I ended up with a weird icy texture. Flavor was good, but the consistency wasn’t what I expected.

    1. User avatar ed.vonrueden69 says:

      5 stars
Oof—ice can totally mess with the texture in a blender. Next time, try blending the strawberries/yogurt/milk first until smooth, then add the ice a little at a time (or use crushed ice). Also letting the ice sit 1–2 minutes so it’s not rock hard might help.

I don’t get the “healthy” part—honestly honey adds sugar, but it’s still better than regular milkshakes I guess. Tastes good though.

  109. User avatar coralee.jones1991 says:

    4 stars
Ew yogurt milkshake vibes, but I tried it anyway. Surprisingly refreshing—more like a strawberry dessert drink than a heavy milkshake.

I didn’t have vanilla, so I left it out. Still tasted great though, like a strawberry yogurt shake. Simple win.

    1. User avatar Humma Kavula says:

      5 stars
Nice! I always skip vanilla when I’m out and it still works—strawberry + yogurt is doing the heavy lifting. Glad it turned out like a shake 😊

  111. User avatar taylor.ohara1959 says:

    5 stars
I’m obsessed with this. Greek yogurt makes it taste like a real milkshake but without the heavy feeling.

  112. User avatar andreas.wintheiser69 says:

I used almond milk instead and it worked! Yummy!

  113. User avatar andrew.stehr says:

This is like a fancy drink for me, I’m impressing my friends!

    1. 2 stars
Fancy? I dunno, it’s just a smoothie with milk. What’s the big deal?

    2. 5 stars
Sounds awesome! Your friends will love it! 😍

  114. User avatar Falmer Nightprowler says:

    5 stars
This was soooo good! My kids loved it!

  115. 2 stars
I used non-dairy milk and it separated a bit when I poured it, but it still tasted good. Texture wasn’t super thick.

  116. User avatar micki.gutkowski84 says:

    3 stars
The flavor is good, but I think 1 tablespoon honey was too much for my taste. Next time I’ll do 1 teaspoon or skip entirely since the strawberries are sweet.

  117. User avatar joe_banana says:

    4 stars
I tried this and the honey didn’t dissolve so it tasted weird at first sip. After another blend it was fine. Would make again.

  118. User avatar Old Lady from Bomb Shop says:

    5 stars
Made these today—so creamy and not overly sweet. I used non-dairy oat milk and it still tasted great. Would definitely make again!

  119. User avatar Hasimir Fenring says:

    5 stars
Tried this today—so refreshing! The honey amount was perfect after I tasted. I used vanilla Greek yogurt and it turned out extra creamy.

    1. 3 stars
I made it too but I think my honey was too much? Like I followed 1 tablespoon exactly and it tasted kinda sweet. Also I forgot the vanilla and it still worked though.

    2. User avatar ginny.nolan1960 says:

      5 stars
So glad you liked it! Vanilla Greek yogurt is such a great move—those milkshakes always get extra creamy with it. 🍓

  120. 3 stars
This was fine, but I think 1 tbsp honey is too much for tart strawberries. Also I forgot the vanilla and it still tasted okay.

  121. User avatar toney.bayer35 says:

    4 stars
I don’t have honey, so I used maple syrup. Still tasted good, though the flavor was slightly different. Would recommend as a swap.

  122. User avatar Dominic Vernius says:

    2 stars
Meh… tasted kinda sour to me. I didn’t have Greek yogurt so I used regular. Maybe that’s why. Would try again with more honey.

  123. 3 stars
This is healthier, sure, but I guess I wanted it sweeter. Honey didn’t fully cover the strawberry tartness for my taste.

    1. 5 stars
Totally get that—strawberries can be pretty tart depending on the batch. Next time I’d add a touch more honey (or even a date/banana) and blend again. Maybe use slightly riper berries too.

  124. User avatar francis.schinner says:

    5 stars
I mixed in some chocolate and it’s delicious!

  125. User avatar cristobal.trantow91 says:

    3 stars
This tasted kinda like strawberry yogurt in a cup? I mean it’s healthy, but I wanted more of a classic milkshake vibe. Maybe less yogurt would help.

    1. User avatar rana.cassin says:

      5 stars
I totally get that! The Greek yogurt taste can come through a lot—if you want more “milkshake” vibes, try using less yogurt (like 1/4 cup) and a bit more milk. Also, blending longer with the ice helps make it smoother.

  126. User avatar Hwi Noree says:

    5 stars
Wow, this tasted way more like a real milkshake than I expected. The honey makes it just the right amount sweet—super refreshing!

  127. User avatar Aragorn says:

    5 stars
So good. Strawberry ice cream vibes. My kid asked for seconds and that’s rare 😂

    1. User avatar mario.quitzon77 says:

      5 stars
Aww love that 😄 Healthy strawberry milkshakes but totally get the “ice cream” vibe. Seconds from the kid is the ultimate review!

  128. 2 stars
Honestly, I don’t get the hype. Too sour for me even with honey. Also why so much dairy—just use ice cream lol.

  129. User avatar nguyet.jenkins16 says:

    4 stars
This is a solid quick recipe. Next time I’ll blend a bit longer with the ice because mine was slightly chunky, but flavor was excellent.

    1. User avatar Tanner Predovic says:

      4 stars
Chunky is like… kinda the vibe? 😂 But yeah, blending longer makes sense. I might swap the honey for maple syrup next time.

    2. User avatar viola.marvin25 says:

      5 stars
Thanks! I’ve had the same issue when the ice isn’t fully crushed—blending longer really helps. I usually do berries + liquids first, then ice last.

  130. User avatar cherish.mills1953 says:

Could use more flavor punch. I added a tiny pinch of salt and wow—way better. Vanilla optional is fine, but I think it helps.

  131. User avatar mathWizard says:

    4 stars
My strawberries weren’t super sweet, so I added extra honey and it helped. Next time I’ll use riper berries.

    1. User avatar steve_maga says:

      3 stars
Hmm… I added honey once and it made it way too sweet for me. Maybe it’s the type/brand of yogurt or the milk? Also, aren’t strawberries kinda sour even when ripe? idk. But good tip either way.

    2. User avatar glady.schiller89 says:

      5 stars
That makes total sense—strawberries vary a lot in sweetness. I usually taste first and then drizzle more honey too. Riper berries next time will definitely help!

  132. User avatar grady.predovic8 says:

    4 stars
Pretty simple, but I was worried it would be too tangy with Greek yogurt. Turned out perfect after adding a bit more honey.

    1. User avatar Arthur Philip Deodat says:

      5 stars
Totally get the tangy worry—Greek yogurt can be intense. Love that you balanced it with extra honey though, that makes sense. I’ll try it next time!

    2. User avatar fletcher.white1997 says:

      3 stars
I tried a version of this once and it was like… sour city 😅 I think my honey didn’t mix right. Do you usually add the honey before blending or after? Also how much ice do you use—4 or 5 cubes?

  133. User avatar Cave Bear says:

    4 stars
I followed it mostly, but my blender struggled with the strawberry pieces. After I blended longer it got smooth though—still good.

  134. User avatar raymond.wiza55 says:

Greek yogurt + strawberries = classic. I added a pinch of cinnamon too and it was even better. So easy and quick!

  135. User avatar sherika.hegmann says:

The measurements are straightforward, but “4-5 cubes” is vague. I used way too much ice once and it turned watery.

    1. User avatar angelique.crist1965 says:

      5 stars
Totally agree—“4–5 cubes” is kinda hand-wavy. I usually do 4 small cubes for a thicker shake and 6 if I want it more slushy. Adding ice slowly helps you avoid the watery mess.

    2. User avatar leatrice.hackett1965 says:

      4 stars
Hmm I didn’t have an issue—maybe your cubes were huge? Like, if you use big ice cubes it’ll water it down for sure. I’d say “4–5 small cubes” or just blend with 2 first and then add more.

  136. User avatar bobbi.rice says:

    4 stars
I accidentally used frozen strawberries (oops) and it was still tasty, but the texture was more like a smoothie than a milkshake.

    1. User avatar Todd Metz says:

      5 stars
Ooh that makes sense—frozen berries can definitely make it more smoothie-thick than creamy milkshake-y. Next time you could use fewer ice cubes or blend a little shorter to keep some texture.

  137. User avatar Eddie the Computer says:

    5 stars
Made this for a quick snack and it’s honestly super refreshing. I used oat milk and it turned out creamy, not icy at all. Great summer vibes.

    1. User avatar chimpanzee says:

      5 stars
Love this! The oat milk swap is such a good idea—glad it stayed creamy and not icy. Summer snack perfection 🌞🍓

  138. User avatar Al Gore Rythim says:

    5 stars
I used non-dairy milk (oat) and vanilla, and it still came out really good. Definitely a repeat recipe in our house.

    1. User avatar jon.corkery says:

      5 stars
Love that! Oat milk + vanilla sounds like the perfect combo with the strawberries. Glad it still worked out—definitely trying this next time.

  139. User avatar jay.macgyver says:

Tried this exactly as written—super creamy and not too sweet. The honey amount worked out great for me.

    1. User avatar eleonora.abernathy63 says:

      3 stars
Hmm I did it “exactly” too but mine was kinda sour and thin? Maybe my strawberries were too tart. I ended up adding more honey and like… more ice? Not sure if I messed up the blender speed lol.

    2. 5 stars
Love hearing this! I was worried the honey might be overpowering, so it’s good to know it works out creamy without being too sweet. 🍓

Quick question: do I have to hull the strawberries? I didn’t and it was… crunchy. lol
